A Study on the Relationship of Stereotypical Attitudes of Middle School Students toward Saeteomins (North Korean Refugees) to Knowledge of North Korea (중학생의 북한에 대한 지식과 새터민에 대한 고정관념의 관계에 대한 연구)

  • Multiculturalism in education are different from each countries, It is needed to practice multicultural education in many fields facing changes to multicultural society in Korea. This study demonstrates on the relationship of social friendliness and stereotypical attitudes toward Saeteomins (North Korean refugees) to the knowledge of North Korea. Saeteomins are special in the respect of linguistic and ethnic homogeneity of Korea. They have to adapt themselves to new circumstances like other immigrants from abroad. At the same time they have cultural senses of difference to live in a divided country in spite of ethnic homogeneity. It is important to get openminded attitudes to be receptive to cultural diversity in the respect of getting multicultural sensitivity. On account of a growing migration of Saeteomins family, Saeteomin students have difficulties in adapting to Korean society. This study focuses on the point of middle school (general) students' view to Saeteomin students, who have experiences to meet each other. There are three categories of contents knowledge, common sense of North Korea and social issues related to North Korea in this paper. All of them are significant to social friendliness and stereotypical attitudes toward Saeteomins to the knowledge of North Korea. That is important point to contents construction in curriculum about North Korea. This study is meaningful to find the potential to link contents knowledge of subject to multicultural education practice in the process of curriculum change especially in relation to the knowledge of North Korea in 2007.

  • Space design in the 21st century has been developed in connection with media more various than ever. In the age of image represented by popular culture, space design connected with media is based on post-reason thoughts constituting the post-modern society, and reflects polysemously and pluralistically changes in the society through the identification of art with life. The movie, which is an image perceived particularly sensibly and the most impractical simulated image among various illusionary media images composing the contemporary society, is growing rapidly in interrelation with various fields of art based on its peculiar nature, and its influence is getting more extensive. The movie manipulates mass society to create what does not exist and restore lost images into new realities through the reproduction of extremely realistic senses, and uses them in establishing virtual realities and creating illusionary images representing the age of simularc. The illusionary expression of the movie produces new meanings through disintegrating existing meanings and recombining them, and expresses popular culture from a position closest to our everyday life. Such an analytical attitude toward the illusionary movie reflecting our society can be a new approach to space design. The present study attempts to suggest the possibility of applying such an illusionary characteristic of the movie as a methodology of space design by utilizing the characteristic as a conceptual language of space design.

  • With the growing proliferation of mobile computing devices, several industrial and academic research groups have a vigorous studying to remote control for various appliances with mobile devices such as Notebooks, PDAs, and Smartphones in home network environments. We can utilize the good points of mobile devices such as portability and usability so that we can remote control and manage the mobile devices connected on home networks anytime, anywhere. However, mobile devices use different languages. Therefore, they cause some problems because their interfaces and the methods of operation are different each other. To solve these problems, there are two consideration. First, we may be solved development of the user interface and difficulty of maintenance in order to control various heterogeneous devices. Second, we may provide the user interface which is dynamically adapting user's preferences and device characteristics. To satisfy these considerations, we describe the design of an adaptive user interface for home network environments using the UIML (User Interface Markup Language) based on XML (eXtensible Markup Language) and the profile information of the user and device. Therefore, we present several implementation examples that show how the framework can form the basis of prototypical applications.

  • In recent days network computing technologies have bee developed rapidly and the extended use of Internet applications for enterprises such as internet/extarnet in and between enterprises has been increased enormously. Therefore the business in the future will be executed by virtual enterprise. Virtual enterprises which is based on information sharing between enterprises are composed of work processes related to information exchange between virtual enterprises, the team members who are representatives of the organizations that are participated in the actual business of virtual enterprises, and members who are representatives of the organizations that are participated in the actual business of virtual enterprises, and environment that are provided by supporting CALS(continuous Acquisition and Life cycle Support or commerce At light Speed). Supporting system of IDE(Integrated Data Environment)for CALS implementation that is provided as an environment of virtual enterprises has to ensure the autonomies of local data and to provide the accessibility of heterogeneous database of enterprises on network transparently for giving user a single global view of data. This paper introduce the design and implementation of the database broker system that can be accessed data transparently by the suers of participated enterprises in the integrated data environment supporting virtual enterprises. The system uses java/CORBA technology in Web environment and Object Query language (OQL) to process the queries of relational database system, object-oriented database system, and file information.

Detecting Errors in POS-Tagged Corpus on XGBoost and Cross Validation (XGBoost와 교차검증을 이용한 품사부착말뭉치에서의 오류 탐지)

  • Part-of-Speech (POS) tagged corpus is a collection of electronic text in which each word is annotated with a tag as the corresponding POS and is widely used for various training data for natural language processing. The training data generally assumes that there are no errors, but in reality they include various types of errors, which cause performance degradation of systems trained using the data. To alleviate this problem, we propose a novel method for detecting errors in the existing POS tagged corpus using the classifier of XGBoost and cross-validation as evaluation techniques. We first train a classifier of a POS tagger using the POS-tagged corpus with some errors and then detect errors from the POS-tagged corpus using cross-validation, but the classifier cannot detect errors because there is no training data for detecting POS tagged errors. We thus detect errors by comparing the outputs (probabilities of POS) of the classifier, adjusting hyperparameters. The hyperparameters is estimated by a small scale error-tagged corpus, in which text is sampled from a POS-tagged corpus and which is marked up POS errors by experts. In this paper, we use recall and precision as evaluation metrics which are widely used in information retrieval. We have shown that the proposed method is valid by comparing two distributions of the sample (the error-tagged corpus) and the population (the POS-tagged corpus) because all detected errors cannot be checked. In the near future, we will apply the proposed method to a dependency tree-tagged corpus and a semantic role tagged corpus.

Implementation of GIS-based Application Program for Circuity and Accessibility Analysis in Road Network Graph (도로망 그래프의 우회도와 접근도 분석을 위한 GIS 응용 프로그램 개발)

  • Recently, domain-specific demands with respect to practical applications and analysis scheme using spatial thematic information are increasing. Accordingly, in this study, GIS-based application program is implemented to perform spatial analysis in transportation geography with base road layer data. Using this program, quantitative estimation of circuity and accessibility, which can be extracted from nodes composed of the graph-typed network structure, in a arbitrary analysis zone or administrative boundary zone is possible. Circuity is a concept to represent the difference extent between actual nodes and fully connected nodes in the analysis zone. While, accessibility can be used to find out extent of accessibility or connectivity between all nodes contained in the analysis zone, judging from inter-connecting status of the whole nodes. In put data of this program, which was implemented in AVX executable extension using AvenueTM of ArcView, is not transportation database information based on transportation data model, but layer data, directly obtaining from digital map sets. It is thought that computation of circuity and accessibility can be used as kinds of spatial analysis functions for GIS applications in the transportation field.

Das Problem der philosophischen Letztbegründung und des Fallibilismus (철학적 최종근거지음과 오류주의의 문제)

  • Der vorliegende Beitrag problematisiert die Zeichen einer Zeit, in der nach der 'Wende des Sprachparadigmas' alle Prozesse einer Posttranszendenz, die in der heutigen philosophischen Problemsituation versucht werden, $bel{\ddot{a}}chelt$ werden, der Relativismus, Partikularismus und Skeptizismus $verst{\ddot{a}}rkt$ wird, und als Resultat die Kritik, Ablehnung und das Desinteresse an der Ideologie der Vernunft und Wahrheit sich verbreitet. Ich werde daher umgekehrt gerade an diesem Punkt ansetzen und ${\ddot{u}}ber$ die Notwendigkeit und Dringlichkeit der Rehabilitierung der "$Realit{\ddot{a}}t$ einer moralischen Vernunft" nachdenken. Zweck dieses Beitrags ist es, in Zusammenhang mit der Rehabilitierung der $Realit{\ddot{a}}t$ einer moralischen Vernunft, aufzuzeigen, welche theoretische Erkenntnis bzw.moralische Erkenntnis wahr ist, d.h., dass ein 'bewiesenes', da 'objektiv gerechtfertigtes' Argument existiert. $Daf{\ddot{u}}r$ werde ich als erstes auf das Problem der Relativistischen und Skeptizistischen Anhaltspunkte philosophisch eingehen(2), zur ${\ddot{U}}berwindung$ dieser Anhaltspunkte eine Rechtfertigung der rationelen und moralischen $Begr{\ddot{u}}ndung$ versuchen(3). In Folge soll betrachtet werden, dass die Rechtfertigung der rational moralischen $Begr{\ddot{u}}ndung$ mit dem Problem der $Letztbegr{\ddot{u}}ndung$ in enger Verbindung steht(4), und nachdem darauf hingewiesen wird, dass dies durch eine Konfrontation mit der Fallibilismus These zu erkenntnistheoretisch objektiver $G{\ddot{u}}ltigkeit$ gelangt(5), werde ich den Beitrag $abschlie{\ss}en$(6).

ZFC and Non-Denumerability (ZFC와 열거불가능성)

  • If 1st order ZFC is consistent(has a model($M_1$)) it has a transitive denumerable model($M_2$). This leads to a paradoxical situation called 'Skolem paradox'. This can be easily resolved by Skolem's typical resolution. but In the process, we must accept the model theoretic relativity for the concept of set. This relativity can generate a situation where the meaning of the set concept, for example, is given differently depending on the two models. The problem is next. because the sentence '¬denu(PN)' which indicate that PN is not denumerable is equally true in two models, A indistinguishability problem that the concept <¬denu> is not formally indistinguishable in ZFC arise. First, I will give a detail analysis of what the nature of this problem is. And I will provide three ways of responding to this problem from the standpoint of supporting ZFC. First, I will argue that <¬denu> concept, which can be relative to the different models, can be 'almost' distinguished in ZFC by using the formalization of model theory in ZFC. Second, I will show that <¬denu> can change its meaning intrinsically or naturally, by its contextual dependency from the semantic considerations about quantifier that plays a key role in the relativity of <¬denu>. Thus, I will show the model-relative meaning change of <¬denu> concept is a natural phenomenon external to the language, not a matter of responsible for ZFC.

A Research on the Paradigm of Interaction Based on Attributes (인터렉션 속성에 기초한 인터렉션 범식화 연구)

  • The aim of this study is to demonstrate interaction as a describable field and tries to understand interaction from the perspective of attributes, thus building a theoretical to help interactive designer understand this field by common rule, rather than waste huge time and labor cost on iteration. Since the concept of interaction language has been brought out in 2000, there are varies of related academical studies, but all with defect such as proposed theoretical models are built on a non-uniform scale, or the analyzing perspective are mainly based on researcher's personal experience and being too unobjective. The value of this study is the clustered resource of research which mainly based on academical review. It collected 21 papers researched on interaction paradigm or interaction attributes published since 2000, extracting 19 interaction attribute models which contains 174 interaction attributes. Furthermore, these 174 attributes were re-clustered based on a more unified standard scale, and the two theoretical models summarized from it are respectively focuses on interaction control and interaction experience, both of which covered 6 independent attributes. The propose of this theoretical models and the analyzation of the cluster static will contribute on further revealing of the importance of interaction attribute, or the attention interaction attribute has been paid on. Also, in this regard, the interactive designer could reasonably allocate their energy during design process, and the future potential on various direction of interaction design could be discussed.

Empirical study on BlenderBot 2.0's errors analysis in terms of model, data and dialogue (모델, 데이터, 대화 관점에서의 BlendorBot 2.0 오류 분석 연구)

  • Blenderbot 2.0 is a dialogue model representing open domain chatbots by reflecting real-time information and remembering user information for a long time through an internet search module and multi-session. Nevertheless, the model still has many improvements. Therefore, this paper analyzes the limitations and errors of BlenderBot 2.0 from three perspectives: model, data, and dialogue. From the data point of view, we point out errors that the guidelines provided to workers during the crowdsourcing process were not clear, and the process of refining hate speech in the collected data and verifying the accuracy of internet-based information was lacking. Finally, from the viewpoint of dialogue, nine types of problems found during conversation and their causes are thoroughly analyzed. Furthermore, practical improvement methods are proposed for each point of view, and we discuss several potential future research directions.
