모든 예술적 표현 활동은 서로 깊은 연관을 지니고 있으며, 복식 디자인 역시 예술적 표현 활동의 한 분야로서, 현대에 이르러 복식은 단순히 입는다는 개념을 탈피한 하나의 조형 예술로 인식되어지고 있다. 예술적 표현 활동은 조형 제작 활동의 주체인 인간이 예술적 표현의 의지를 사물로 객체화하는 과정에 있어서, 그 재료와 재료의 가공 기법을 통해 표현되는 활동이라고 말할 수 있다. 근자에 이르러 종이는 예술표현 활동에 있어서 진정한 표현 매재로 간주되고 있으며, 특히 종이를 예술적 표현을 위한 피동적 표면이라는 재료로서의 고정된 관념에서 탈피하여 입체적 조형이 시도되고, 이러한 종이의 입체로의 성형 가능성에 대한 발견은 조형 매체로서의 종이에 대한 새로운 시각을 제시하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 종이 조형에 의해 표현되는 조형성을 복식에 적용시키기 위한 것으로서, 종이를 통한 조형성 표현의 여러 방법 중 특히 접기의 방법을 응용하여, 접기 기법의 조형요소로서의 특성과 인체와 결합하여 복식으로 이루어졌을 때 새로운 조형물로 인식되어질 수 있는 복식의 형태를 시도하였다. 작품은 접기 기법에 의해 형성되는 조형성을 복식을 응용하여, 복식에 대한 기하학적 조형성과 함께 새로운 실루엣과 이미지를 창출하며, 복식의 새로운 표현 영역의 확대를 위한 실물 작품으로 제작하였다.

This study alms at developing the basic substance of education in Creating in 2- Dimentional Space, Which will make it possible to express and pursue creating which is appropriate for the characteristics of computer graphic as well as the technical side of the creating shape using computer in the established basic educational programs of the field, Thus in this study, I will put the concepts of creating shape relevant to various expression media in order. Based on this, I will clarify the potential of utilizing computer graphics and the extent to which they can applied, The purpose of this study lies 10 understanding computer as a means of creating and revealing the possibility for broadening the boundary of the establishd creating, For this, I am gOlOg to propose a plan for the education of Creating 10 2-Dimentional Space, limiting myself to the area relevant to computer graphics.

현대 패션분야에서 디자이너들의 예술적 표현의 주제이자 매체로서 활용되고 있는 빛은 보다 감성지향적인 방향으로 발전되는 추세로서, 빛을 활용한 감성 패션디자인에 대한 표현 방법과 조형적 특성을 분석하는 것은 매우 의미있는 일이다. 패션디자인에서 빛을 표현하는 방법으로는 빛의 반사, 이미지 표현, 발광, 투사에 의해 독창적으로 응용되어져 표현되어 왔으며, 다양한 빛의 표현을 위해 재료의 물성을 조작함으로써 얻을 수 있는 빛의 유희, 명암이나 형태, 색채를 통한 빛의 재현, 발광물질이나 인공광에 의한 발광, 프로젝터를 통한 빛 이미지 등 다양한 표현방법이 활용되고 있었다. 빛이 활용된 감성 패션디자인의 조형적 특성으로는 상호작용성, 영상성, 투명성, 실험성으로 분류되었다. 상호작용성은 착용자의 행위에 의한 변형과 신체의 변화나 감정의 변화에 의한 불빛이나 영상 패턴이 바뀌는 등 형태나 컬러, 영상의 변형 등 착용자의 메시지 전달이나, 감정표현, 신체보호, 그리고 재미를 유발하는 효과를 자아내는 것으로 나타났다. 영상성은 디지털 이미지를 활용한 것과 내부 광원에 의한 발광성으로 분류되며, 드레스에 장착된 수많은 LED 에 의한 영상을 만들거나 이미지를 확대시키는 방법으로 표현된 영상성은 심미적인 효과가 우선시되었다. 투명성은 주로 비닐, 플라스틱, 기능적 소재 등 투명한 소재들을 이용하여 대부분 재료의 특성이 조형적 특성으로 분석되었고, 외부와의 개방성과 위장가능성의 효과를 준다거나, 투명한 재질에 이미지가 변화하는 이미지의 중첩성과 같은 효과를 나타내었다. 실험성은 새로운 실험적 도구로서의 패션을 표현하고자 할 때, '빛'을 매개체로 하여 관심을 유도하고 재미를 더해주며, 신비주의적 환상이나 호기심을 불러일으키는 효과를 나타내었다. 이처럼 빛을 활용한 패션디자인은 빛을 매개체로 하여 다양한 표현방법으로 활용이 가능하며 특유의 조형적 특성을 가지고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

Reinterpretation of the visual characteristics of Korean folk painting in contemporary Korean painting is to seek directions of today's Korean painting. When examining expressions of contemporary painting we see that there is a reappearance of iconic images, a reinterpretation of both flatness and multi-perspectives, and an objectifying of pastiche folk icons with an experimental spirit. All of these techniques suggest methods of contemporary Korean painting through 'folk painting'. Although folk painting has been adopted in contemporary Korean painting for a long time, interest increased in the 1980s. With the prevailance of both national characteristic expressive techniques of realism and color painting, artists reinterpreted folk painting in their work, borrowing the traditional five colors, common contents, and iconic images. Particularly, an interest in 'Korean Beauty' drew people's interest back to folk painting which provided the significant 'Korean Beauty' of traditional expressive techniques. This study is to examine the characteristics of selected group of works that created a new expressive technique in today's Korean painting by either the reappearance or the reinterpreting of iconic images of the Chosun Dynasty's folk painting. To achieve these goals, the artists, who modify or reinterpret folk painting's visual characteristics with a contemporary sense, are divided into three categories in this study; 'The Readoption of the Folk Image', 'The Reinterpretation of Folk Characteristics', and 'Experimental Expressions'. As a result, it proves that folk painting is both a classical expression and national expression which was not only favored in the Chosun period, but also can be reinterpreted through today's visual methodology.

Modern figurative work is designed to have more creativity and characteristic traits by pure thought of the formative ceramic arts. In compliance with the demand which is various the design development could be satisfied an individuality and a taste is become accomplished. In this view, this study looks over expressive aspect of Cubism to present partition as a independent formative ceramic arts is able to contribute emotionally to our whole lives. In this procedure, this work is produced to express a three-dimensional effect and a spatial effect, approaching a figurative side. This is to overcome the limitation of Cubism art expressed in a two-dimensional surface in spite of its multi-dimensional observation of a given object. Accordingly, this study tries approaching pre-understanding of expressive aspect of Cubism which was the important turning-point in 20c art and expansion of the modern ceramic art field before producing the work. This study shows the possibility to become a creative and practical ceramic art work, approaching the new point of view breaking from the established conception. Consequently, the field of ceramic art could be expanded to a part of modern ceramic art as an object of study in art of life.

In creating an illustration, rather than depend on the subjective expression of the illustrator, one should consider the characteristics of child cognitive development. Illustrations should be those which can arouse child's interesting and which can be educational. To do this, first, characteristic expressions shown in children's pictures can be used to arouse child's interesting. In creating an illustration, one should consider sufficiently "intuitive form" and "representative form" in order to appeal to curiosity of child. Second, illustrations should be able to be helpful to the development of child's intellect, emotion and imagination. The form is desired to be adequately exaggerated or reduced feature, to have anthropomorphic figure and to be fantastic composition considering the egocentrism and animalism of the child. As mentioned above, it can be said characteristic expression in picture book illustrations are affected by the two points - fascinating expression drawn by child and expression by illustrator, which can be helpful to the development of intellect, emotion and imagination.otion and imagination.

During design thinking and developing, its idea into the real world, and we are under pattern recognition and gestalt principles of perceptual organization. Generally originality is a part of creativity which consists an integral factor of the designing. This is a study on the measure system for an ability of originality in design. It is reorganized that the OTLD(Originality Test of Line Drawing) is a measuring system for personal originality. In order to catch the development the thoughts, we presented 10 picture planes as stimuli (each picture plane contained 3-18 dots), recorded the tape displaying eye-mark trajectories and outputting the trajectories with EMR(Eye Mark Recorder), then found the process of visual sensation and perception. From the results of this study, we examined the relationships between connections and complexity of the objects on the picture plane, which could be transformed into some objective measuring parameters. We would suggest this OLTD as a measurement system for an ability of originality in design fields, but we couldn't find any reliability and validity for fine art fields.

As the very important artistic elements expressing a visual image, the color has been increasing the power of expression. But the relationship between the remarkable peculiarity of colors in accordance with other artistic elements inside the picture plane makes difficult to express an effective expression of color. In the adaptation of color as well as artistic style between & by W. Disney co. is very different each other in the manner of expression. By revealing the difference of the practical use of color and it's principle of those two works, I want to formulate a suitable use of color. In this paper, focus on how to active application of color in relationship between other artistic element and expressive peculiar of color. A right is not only the dominant component in color, but contrast also. A contrast is the most considerable element for modeling order. To emphasize expressive peculiar of color, an artist control artistic element properly and can make expressive energy of brightness & shape.

This study, which was begun in order to create a metal molding by using lines, a basic element of design, examined various characteristics and concept of line and the beauty of lines based on previous research on the subject. The result showed that formative interpretation of lines largely depends on intentional expression by using thickness and rhythm of lines. In order to obtain a metal molding that provides both visual freedom and beauty, rather than the conventional formative expression of lines, I used red copper plate and Phosphor bronze line for creating a pattern based on transformation and repetition of lines and an artwork based on the pattern. The result was not only a creation of a plane but the senses of three-dimension, speed, and unity in the overall shape. Further research will need to be conducted regarding formative interpretation of lines and emotional and intrinsic beauty through expression of lines.
