  • This study examined the relationship among dropout, organizational trust, and intention to transfer in the department affiliated with Physical Education. Data were collected from 480 students in the department affiliated with Physical Education from 6 institutions of a 4-year university located in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Incheon, and ChungChong-do. For the research model analysis, a structural equation model and bootstrapping were conducted. Results indicated that the academic domain, the social domain, and the environmental domain of dropout had a positive effect on organizational trust. But the only the academic domain in the relationship between dropout and intention to transfer affected intention to transfer positively. The social domain and the environmental domain were not statistically significant on intention to transfer. Moreover, organizational trust had a positive effect on intention to transfer. Finally, organizational trust partially mediated the path between the academic domain and intention to transfer. It fully mediated the paths between the social domain and the environmental domain and intention to transfer.

  • This study examines the impact of job stress on customer-oriented boundary-spanning behavior with the mediating effects of organizational commitment. The survey data was collected from 147 employees working at a hospital and analyzed statistically by using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. The result of this study are as follows. Hypothesis 1, Job stress has a negative influence on organizational commitment. Hypothesis 2, Organizational commitment has a positive influence on customer-oriented boundary-spanning behavior. Hypothesis 3, Job stress has a negatively significant impact on customer-oriented boundary-spanning behavior. Accordingly, Organizational commitment has the role of partially mediating the effect between job stress and customer-oriented boundary-spanning behavior. This means that employees working at the point of meeting customers must reduce their job stress in order to improve the service quality of a hospital and creating solutions to reduce job stress of hospital employees can increase customer-oriented boundary-spanning behavior.

It is a descriptive research study that survey nurses who consented responded to the research questions. As a result, nurse practitioners showed a low level of perceptions of organizational commitment, psychological contracts, transactional contract and relational contract. There was a positive correlation between transactional contract and constructive voice(p<.05), and there was a negative correlation between relational contract and destructive voice(p<.05). • Based on the previous research that the social responsibility of a for-profit company has a positive effect on the decrease in turnover intention, we examine the effect of CSR of a non-profit organization, hospital, on the turnover intention of members of the organization. We collected data through questionnaire surveys for medical institution workers, and conducted exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis using this data. The analysis showed that HSR had a significant effect on organizational trust, and that hospital members' organizational trust had a negative impact on turnover. In conclusion, HSR Had a significant effect on the turnover. Therefore, medical institution managers have to recognize the effect of HSR on decreasing the turnover and carry out HSR for effective management. By identifying the impacts of hospital social responsibility activities that reduce the intention of employees to turn over, it is possible to contribute to the efficient operation of medical institutions, As a future research task, it is necessary to increase the generality of research by broadening the distribution of members.

  • The purpose of this research is to identify the level of perception of conflict with politics within nursing organizations in large general hospitals, and to empirically analyze how politics and conflicts in the organization affect workplace bullying(taeoom) within nursing organizations. The research method conducted multiple regression analysis on 273 nurses working at A University Hospital in Seoul. The analysis shows that political and relationship conflicts within the organization are amplifying the workplace bullying within the nursing system. It was confirmed that taeoom was also increasing as conflicts between factions or subgroups within the nursing system, alienation, and emotional conflicts among members grew. We hope that the future research regarding taeoom will seek serious theoretical insights and practical implications for its management.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between job stress, job crafting, and organizational commitment and the moderating effect of job crafting for members working at social enterprises in Busan. The analysis results are as follows. First, job stress confirmed the negative effect on organizational commitment. Second, it was confirmed that job crafting had a significant effect on organizational commitment in the relationship between job stress and organizational commitment. Based on the results of this study, since job stress of social enterprise workers lowers job commitment, a plan to effectively manage and reduce their stress is required. In addition, job crafting regulates the relationship between job stress and organizational commitment, which means that although members are stressed, job stress has a different negative effect on organizational commitment depending on how much they perceive the meaning and value of their work.
