시뮬레이션 기반 교육훈련 지침 및 평가도구 개발에 관한 연구

  • 해양사고는 선박운항 또는 기기작동에 대한 전문적 지식의 결여에서 기인되는 부분도 있으나, 사고의 많은 부분이 운항자의 정신적 해이 또는 주위상황 식별오류 등에 의해 발생되는 경우가 많다. 이에 따라 해기교육이 강화되고 교육 효과를 향상시키기 위해 선박조종시뮬레이션을 포함하는 다양한 교육훈련 과정이 개설되고 있지만 사고 발생율이 높은 하급면허를 소지한 항해사들은 영세한 선사들에 소속되어 시뮬레이션 교육의 기회가 많지 않다. 따라서 영세선사에서도 이용할 수 있는 초급 및 하급 항해사용 간이 시뮬레이터의 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구는 간이 시뮬레이터에 사용될 시나리오와 시뮬레이션 Debriefing에 이용하기 위한 자기평가서, 그리고 시뮬레이션 결과를 정량화 시킬 수 있는 평가 알고리즘을 항해사 및 해기교육 대상자들의 설문결과, 사고사례 통계조사를 기반으로 개발하였다.

Development of a Simple Manoeuvring Model for Ship-handling Simulator by Analytical Methods (해석적 방법에 의한 선박 시뮬레이터용 단순 조종 모델 개발)

  • In the ship-handling simulator, it is important for a ship manoeuvring model to represent the dynamic characteristic of a ship and to be simple for reducing calculation time. Especially, even if principal dimensions of a ship are given in initial design stage, or manoeuvring test data are only given by model or real ship's trials, simulations are often needed to check the manoeuvrability of a ship. In this paper, a simple manoeuvring model based on turning test data of a ship is mathematically developed. And the simulation results are verified by comparing with turning test results of a real ship.

  • 실습생 및 초급항해사에게 항해 중 가장 기본적으로 요구되는 충돌회피를 위한 선박조종 실습은 법적 책임 및 타 선박과의 불규칙한 조우로 인하여 직접적인 충돌회피 조종 실습이 곤란할 뿐만 아니라 타 선박과의 조우 상황 자체가 극히 제한되어 있는 실정이다. 이에 이 연구는 한국해양대학교 실습선 한나라호의 2007년 원양항해 중 타 선박과의 조우형태를 조사하여 해양계열 대학 실습생 및 초급 항해사에게 실제 해역에서 발생할 수 있는 조우상황별 위험도를 분석하여 이를 기초로 하여 충돌회피를 위한 효율적인 판단 능력 향상을 위한 기초 실습교육 자료를 개발하고자 한다. 그리고 추후에는 이러한 자료를 선박조종시뮬레이터에 적용하여 임의의 조우 상황하에서 안전한 선박조종이 가능하도록 교육 훈련함으로써 보다 효율적인 실습교육에 이바지 할 것으로 판단된다.

  • The model for ship maneuvering simulation is to enhance the competence of officer's ship maneuvering skills such as navigation equipment operation, collision avoidances, countermeasure an emergency situation so on. Despite using such ship maneuvering model, critical maritime accidents are occurred periodically in the world. To find adequate simulation model to evaluate competence abilities of deck officer who have maneuvering skills with some competence levels, we search the standard ship maneuvering method representing on the part 3 Person Overboard(POB) to onboard emergences of IAMSAR manual. Moreover we monitor the officer's human factors appearing during education and training and consider the use of human factors as fundamental data.

  • A flight simulator is a device that allows pilots attain proficiency of various situations and a sense of flight, and as interest in scientific training increases in modern aviation, aviation training organization develop and operate simulators. Therefore, in this study, the process of developing a motion-based helicopter simulation Training Device using a commercial program. Citing previous studies, the specificity of helicopter flight education and the positive effect of motion simulators were confirmed. In addition, the design and program of the motion device were studied in the process of checking the configuration and current regulations of flight simulation training devices and developing a helicopter motion simulator. A motion program was set based on the system design and structural design of the flight simulator, and data received from the flight simulator was identified to confirm the expected operating shape. Through this study, we intend to create a positive expected effect on pilot training by completing a motion-based helicopter simulator.

Development of Scenario for Utilization in Education of Disaster Response Robots and Effective Analysis of its Application (재난안전로봇의 교육적 활용을 위한 시나리오 개발 및 그 활용의 효과분석)

  • In this study, we aim to develop a scenario for educational utilization of disaster response robots that can be used at fire sites and analyze the effectiveness of scenarios according to robot utilization education. Our scenarios were developed based on direction, reality, and rationality determined through the use of a questionnaire survey distributed to current firefighters. In addition, the educational utilization of disaster response robots and training effectiveness were analyzed through repetitive robot control training by a robot development team, current firefighters, and college students. Robot control was divided into direct control, monitor control, and simulation control, and tests were carried out five times. As a result of the analysis of the robot control test, the average time spent for each group was 28 seconds for college students, followed by development teams (30second) and incumbent firefighters (38second). According to the individual analysis results, firefighters (maximum 35second) in direct control, the development team (maximum 14second) in monitor control, and firefighters (maximum 22second) in simulation control showed the effect of shortening control time. These results show that robot control education and training is necessary for robots to be used more effectively at disaster sites.

  • In modern aircraft, an autopilot system is getting more important. There are not many autopilot systems applied to small aircraft. Also the autopilot system in large or medium aircraft is difficult to apply to small aircraft directly. It is necessary to make a new autopilot system for small aircraft. In this paper, we implement the small aircraft simulator with autopilot system using SIMULINK. The various modes of autopilot - such as altitude select/hold, attitude hold, heading hold, etc. - are implemented to the flight simulator and tested. We also implement the VOR mode for aircraft guidance.

  • 선박의 운항 상태를 재현하기 위한 시뮬레이터의 가시화 프로그램은 컴퓨터 그래픽 기법을 이용하여 사용자에게 실제로 선박을 운항하는 현실감을 제공하는 기능을 가져야 한다. 시뮬레이터를 위한 3차원 그래픽의 특성은 실제 상황을 실시간(real-time)으로 재현(15∼30Hz Update rates)해야 하는 기능이 요구되기 때문에 시점 변화에 빠른 그래픽 관련 계산 및 화면 표시에 필요한 시간 제약이 비교적 적은 CAD나 Animation용 3차원 그래픽 시스템과 달리, 시뮬레이션 대상 물체의 운동 상태를 정확히 표현하기 위한 빠른 3차원 그래픽 재현 기능이 매우 중요한 요소가 된다. 그러나 현실감 재현의 관점에서 광고 및 영화용 Animation시스템에서와 같은 Poto-Realistic한 현실감 재현 기능도 무시할 수 없는 요소이고, 현재 최신 컴퓨터 그래픽 기술의 발전과 고성능 그래픽 장비의 개발로 빠른 update rate의 현실감 있는 화면 재현이 가능해 지고 있고 이러한 기능의 요구가 점차 높아지고 있다.

Offshore Platform Installation Simulation Using Real-Time Maneuvering and Operation Simulator (Real-Time 조종 및 작업 시뮬레이터를 활용한 해양구조물 설치 작업 시뮬레이션)

  • In this study, the dynamic characteristics of an offshore platform being installed and physical phenomena are analyzed from the perspective of interaction between operation and maneuvering simulation using a real-time Maneuvering & Operation simulator of Shipbuilding & Marine Simulation Center at Tongmyong University. It was simulated to install the semi-submersible drilling rig moored by 8 mooring lines according to a scenario that is similar to it on the real sea, and 4 tug boats for position keeping of the rig and an offshore support vessel for hook-up of the mooring lines were operated. During the simulation, the motion, trajectory, tension of the objects were output in real time, and they were analyzed at each work procedure. This study about the simultaneous simulation of operation and maneuvering showed the detailed motion of the offshore platform and ships on the operation procedure and the interaction between operation and maneuvering in specific environment condition. Also, it confirmed that the simulation can be utilized to determine the possibility of offshore platform installation in specific situations.
