양곡소비량조사는 가구부문과 사업체부문에서 소비하는 주요식품의 소비량을 조사함과 동시에 주곡인 쌀의 재고량을 조사한다. 이 조사는 해마다 통계청에서 표본설계하여 실시하는 표본조사에 의존한다. 특히, 사업체 부문의 양곡소비량 조사는 응용절사법(Modified Cut-Off Sampling Method)에 의해 표본추출되어 매년 11월에 조사가 실시되고 있다. 2003년도 사업체 양곡소비량 및 재고량조사는 2001년 사업체기초통계조사와 광공업통계조사를 모집단으로 하여 22,320 대상업체 중에서 819업체를 전수조사하고 2,145 업체를 표본조사하여 전체를 추계한다.

핵융합로 제1벽이 사용수명 동안에 받는 조사량은 300dpa 이상인데, 연구용 원자로에서 이와같은 조사량으로 조사시키기 위해서는 상당히 장기간이 요구된다. 그러므로 핵융합로 제1벽 재료의 연구에서는 중성자 조사 대신에 단시간에 높은 조사량으로 조사시킬 수 있는 싸이클로트론 등 입자가속기를 이용한 이온조사 시험이 활용되고 있다. 따라서 조사 손상에 미치는 이온조사와 중성자조사의 상관성은 대단히 중요하므로 본 연구에서는 이의 상관성에 대해 검토 분석하였는데, 이온조사시 경화가 일정하게 일어나는 plateau, 영역에서는 중성자 조사와 선형 관계가 있으나 경화가 크게 일어나는 peak 영역에서는 중성자 조사에 비해 경화가 크게 일어났다.

수자원은 인간을 포함한 모든 생물이 생존을 위한 필수적 자원으로 확보 및 관리가 매우 중요하다. 우리나라의 유역조사 사업은 1960년대 경제개발계획의 하나로 시작되어 댐 개발사업 등과 같은 수자원 개발을 위한 사전조사의 관점으로 진행되었다. 이후 2000년부터는 지속 가능한 개발·보전 및 계획·조사체계 정비 등에 목적을 두고 단위유역별로 시행되었으며, 2007년 이후부터는 전국유역을 대상으로 매년 정기적으로 수행되고 있다. 하천유역조사 사업의 목적은 유역조사를 체계적이기 지속해서 수행함으로써 수자원장기종합계획 및 하천유역종합치수계획 등 수자원 정책의 수립에 필요한 일관성 있고 신뢰성 있는 기초정보를 제공이다. 한국수자원조사기술원은 '유역조사 지침'을 근거로 13개 항목에 대한 현장조사를 수행하고 있다. 한국수자원조사기술원은 하천유역조사 과업을 수자원 환경변화에 능동적으로 대처하고 물관리 분야의 지속 가능한 발전이 이루어질 수 있도록 진행할 것이다. 세부적으로 조사인력의 전문성을 극대화하고 최신식 조사장비 및 분석기법을 도입하여 유역조사 성과에 대한 주기적인 검토 및 고찰을 수행하여 유역조사 결과의 고도화를 진행할 것이다. 이와 같은 과업을 추진하여 수자원 관리 측면에서 직면하고 있는 현안에 대한 해결책을 모색하는데 기여하고자 한다.

사회 전 분야에서 인터넷 이용이 활성화되어 인터넷 조사 여건이 조성되었고 적은 비용으로 신속하게 조사할 수 있다. 이런 조사환경 변화에 부응하고자 조사담당자가 조사와 설문지 설계, 조사실행, 자료입력과 통계분석의 전 조사과정을 총괄적으로 처리할 수 있는 범용적인 설문조사시스템을 구축하고 향후 발전방향을 제안하였다.

현재 국내의 여론조사에서는 전화조사가 주로 이용되고 있으며, 최근 들어 인터넷조사를 활용하는 방법들이 연구되고 있다. 그러나 인테넷조사의 경우 모집단 구조가 편향된 특성을 가지고 있으므로 이에 대한 보완 수정없이 결과의 직접적인 이용은 많은 비표본오차를 발생시킬 수 있다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 사회여론조사를 수행함에 있어서 편향모집단에서의 인터넷조사로부터의 추정값과 전화조사를 통한 추정값의 적절한 결합추정방법을 제안하고, 지난 4.13 총선의 조사자료를 이용하여 이들 결합추정의 효율성을 검토하였다.

하천구역 내의 수리구조물의 설계 및 유지관리, 하천개수 및 하도의 안정, 홍수터 관리, 저수지의 설계 및 운영 등 수자원의 계획이나 관리 등을 위해서는 무엇보다도 하상변동조사가 필요하다. 최근 들어 하상의 세굴 및 퇴적 등 하천유사 문제가 날로 중요해짐에 따라 '하상변동조사용역', '유역조사용역', '유역종합치수계획수립용역', '하천정비기본계획수립용역' 등에서 하상변동조사와 하도의 안정성에 대한 검토 및 분석이 이루어지고 있지만, 자료가 불충분하여 유사한 유역의 유사량 자료를 이용하는 비유사량법으로 장래 하상변동을 예측하는 수준이다. 또한 하상변동조사의 시기 및 주기가 불분명하며 내용 및 조사가 서로 중복되는 등 아직 체계화가 이루어지지 않은 과도기 상태라고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서 제안하는 새로운 하상변동조사는 정기적인 하상변동조사를 위한 제도적 장치의 보완과 현재 수행하고 있는 하상변동조사 업무에 하천 유사량 조사, 하상변동조사, 하상재료조사, 하천형태조사, 하천환경조사 등 총체적인 하천조사를 실시하여, 향후 각종 유역관리계획과 하도계획 수립시 활용성을 증대시키고 이수, 치수 및 하천환경조사와 관련한 각종 분석의 기초 자료로 활용하기 위함이다.

Survey environment has recently been changed along with its bad conditions. Surveyors feel difficult to meet respondents because the number of one person-household and working-together-household has rapidly increased. With a growing awareness of protecting personal information, respondents no longer want to response to a questionnaire. To get responses form an increasing number of non-response houses and respondents who are difficult to meet, Korea National Statistical Office(KNSO) has changed its survey methods and thus introduced new survey methods, free from face-to-face interviews. A telephone interview has officially been allowed for some reasonable situations and it shows a tendency that the trend of interviewing method is moving toward Internet survey. This paper focuses on how survey methods should be changed with the use of IT in response to changes in the survey environment. Survey methods combined with IT have many excellent advantages, Korea has been an enviable World IT contest for a long time. If Korea can apply such an advanced IT environment to survey methods successfully, it will make a great contribution toward improving the survey quality. This paper also reviews which survey method is most appropriate for National Statistics as the survey environment has changed.

Even the importance and necessity of a basic national statistical survey, the population and housing census is facing with some practical difficulties such as higher survey cost, decrease of survey information and much longer survey period. As an alternative to the traditional census for tackling such difficulties, a rolling census has been introduced. The rolling census has some advantages such as improved timeliness with much more frequent data and evenly distributed survey cost over several years. On the contrary, the rolling census has also some disadvantages such as the lost of snapshot feature of the population and increasing risk of outside influence on field work. In this paper we reviewed the French rolling census and the American community survey as roiling surveys, and then investigated some factors like balanced sample selection, population update, synthetic estimation, and the operation of rolling survey, which are to be checked carefully in case of introducing a rolling census as an alternative to the current census.

This study suggests the applicability of web surveys regarding elections in order to contact a great number of young people. The propensity weighting model was estimated using the demographic variables and the covariate variables collected during the 2007 presidential election surveys. In order to adjust the internet survey to the telephone survey, we used the propensity score method. Propensity score weighting made the internet survey results closer to the telephone survey results. This shows that an internet survey with propensity weighting model is a potential alternative survey method in the prediction of elections.

조사의 범위는 사회과학에서 생명공학, 의학에 이르기까지 확대되었고, 조사 방법 또한 인터넷, 무선통신을 이용할 만큼 다양해졌다. 이와 같은 조사범위와 조사방법의 다양성은 조사의 신뢰성과 타당성을 향상시키기 위한 많은 연구를 동반하였다. 본 논문에서는 실제 조사 결과를 바탕으로 조사가 응답자에게 영향을 미치는 요인을 설문지 구성, 조사원의 태도, 시간대별 차이, 응답자의 감정상태에 따라 알아보고, 올바르지 못한 조사 설계로 인하여 가장 흔히 발생될 수 있는 비표본오차의 문제점에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다.
