The Correlation Influences by the Quality of Product Pivoting Boot Camp and its level of Training Satisfaction on the Applying Will to Their Real Business of High-tech Ventures in the Early Stage of Growth (창업도약기업 제품개선훈련프로그램의 품질과 전반적 만족도가 현업적용의지에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • This paper define the research problem as the jeopardized situation of most startups in early chasm. Korean government have put more policy focus on helping these startups to jump over the chasm. One of the effective policy measures helps these startups defining the core competencies validated from target customers, in-housing them effectively, and therefore enhancing the level of differentiation against the competitors by "Product Pivoting Training Boots Camp." It ultimately give the key nudge to startups in struggling with unsold products after initial launch to the market. This paper carried out the empirical test to the target sample of startups participating in this camp. In particular, this research analyze the level of satisfaction of startups, as move along with characteristics of the participant and training program, going through this camp whether it enhance their will of application into real business case. The survey were delivered and collected from 203 startups in attending "Product Pivoting Academy, the following program of Startup Jump-up package policy module. The research result shows that all startups participating in this academy were so much satisfied and motivated strongly to take the training process into applying real business case in order to increase sales. The quality of the training program and the characteristics of the participants had mediating variable effects on the will of application with respect to the level of satisfaction. It imply that the program should put more attention on improving coaches' nudge and learning motivation of participants to enhance the level program satisfaction.

Effects of Market Orientation on New Product Performance of Food/Pharmaceutical Firms : Mediators of Product Quality, Employee Satisfaction, and Innovation Speed (식품·제약업체의 시장지향성이 신제품성과에 미치는 영향 : 제품품질, 직원만족 및 혁신속도의 매개역할)

  • The primary purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between market orientation and new product performance in a manufacturing firms, and examines how product quality, employee satisfaction, and innovation speed play a mediating role between market orientation and new product performance. Based on relevant literature reviews, this study posits three mediators, that is, product quality, employee satisfaction, and innovation speed as key determinants of new product performance. And then we structured a research model and hypotheses about relationship between these variables. A total 159 usable survey responses of Korean food/pharmaceutical firms have been employed in the analysis. The data were analyzed with Amos12.0K. The results be summarized as follows: First, market orientation had a positive influence upon product quality, employee satisfaction, and innovation speed. Second, two mediators of employee satisfaction, innovation speed had a positive influence upon new product performance. Third, employee satisfaction had a positive influence upon product quality and innovation speed. According to the result of this research, a manufacturing firms have to focus on the market orientation and understand the role of product quality, employee satisfaction, and innovation speed mediators on the process between the market orientation and the new product performance.

  • 제품의 설계를 담당하는 사람과 제품을 구입하려는 소비자의 감성이 반영되어 형상화된 제품을 미리 알아 볼 수 있고 이에 대한 평가 및 수정을 가능하게 하는 디자인 시스템이 있다면 제품을 개발하고 생산하는 비용을 감소시킬 수 있을 것이며 또한 소비자의 만족도를 극대화 할 수 있다는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 구매욕구를 충족하기 위하여 다양한 색깔의 건축내장재인 ARTPAN, new ARTPAN, CONER MOLDING 등을 생산하는 회사의 생산품에 대하여 인간이 가지는 감성에 의하여 해당 모델을 선택하며 또한 이를 실제 건축물에서 가상시공을 하여 만족된 제품을 생산공장에 직접 주문 할 수 있는 Web 시스템을 구축하였다. 즉 본 시스템 내에서는 User의 색채 감성에 의해 반응하는 상호 구성요소를 가지며, 상호 feedback이 가능하다. 또한 User Stereoscopic vision을 구비한 가상세계를 구현하고 마지막으로 User는 3D 가상세계 내를 항해할 수 있다.

Study on purchase and intake patterns of individuals consuming dietary formula for weight control or health/functional foods (체중조절용 조제식품과 다이어트 건강기능식품 섭취자의 제품구매 및 취식 행태에 관한 연구)

  • In our previous work, we reported consumers' perceptions of body shape and weight control. In an ongoing effort, we analyzed the purchasing behavior, intake patterns, future purchasing decisions, and degree of satisfaction in individuals consuming dietary formula for weight control (DF) or heath/functional foods (HFFs) by using the same survey questions. Portfolio analysis for marketing strategy was also investigated. Subjects were divided into two groups according to consumption of DF or HFF during the previous year : DF group (n = 89) and HFF group (n = 110). Average intake frequency was $1.7{\pm}0.7$ per day for HFFs and $1.5{\pm}0.9$ per day for the DF, and the most prevalent form was pill (58.2%) for HFFs and bar (42.7%) for DF. Duration of intake was $3.1{\pm}2.3$ months for HFFs versus $3.9{\pm}3.5$ months for DF. The average degree of satisfaction was $3.6{\pm}0.6$ on a 5-point scale, meaning 'relatively satisfied'. For the weight control method to be used in the future, 44.5% of the HFF group selected 'HFFs' while 47.2% of the DF group selected 'DF', showing a tendency to use the current product type in the future. The average planned period for the intake was $3.8{\pm}3.7$ months for HFFs and $3.0{\pm}2.4$ months for DF (p < 0.05). The HFF group emphasized efficacy, functional ingredients of the products, reliable products, and higher satisfaction, whereas the DF group emphasized the added materials in addition to weight control effects.

  • This research aims to empirically examines the effects of competition factors on satisfaction and its on repurchase intent for SME's technology development products in the public procurement market, and to empirically verified the moderating effect of policy conformity. The result shows that the competition factors all have a significant positive effect on satisfaction, and that satisfaction has a significant positive effect on the intent to repurchase. In addition, the policy conformity shows a significantly moderating effect in the relationship between competitive factors and satisfaction and also, there was a significant difference in repurchase intention according to the buyer's innovativeness. This research has important implications that it provides innovative SMEs with practical implications for establishing marketing strategies in the public procurement market and extending the study of customer satisfaction centered on the private market to the public purchase market.
