중국 중소기업들은 기업 경영에서 아웃소싱을 광범위하게 활용하고 있다. 이에 따라 아웃소싱을 위한 정보 수집 및 활용 역량은 기업의 성과에 영향을 미치는 매우 중요한 역량으로 작용할 수 있다. 특히, 글로벌 시장에서 이러한 정보 역량은 기업의 수출 경쟁력을 제고하고, 지속가능한 성과 향상의 핵심 역량으로 작용할 수 있디. 이에 본 연구에서는 중국 중소기업의 이러한 아웃소싱 전략을 개방형 혁신 전략의 프레임워크에서 논의하고, 중국 중소기업의 정보수집 및 활용 능력이 기업들이 추진하는 제품 차별화나 원가우위 전략에 미치는 영향을 실증분석 하였다. 또한, 이러한 정보 역량들이 궁극적으로 기업의 최종적인 성과로서 수출성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증하였다. 이를 위하여 설문조사를 통해 중국 중소기업 345개사의 응답을 확보하였고, 구조방정식모형(SEM)을 통해 실증분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 중국 중소기업들의 정보수집 및 활용 역량은 각각 제품차별화 전략과 원가우위전략의 실행에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이를 통해 최종적으로 기업의 수출성과 역시 향상되는 것을 규명하였다.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how industry-level R&D investments increase exports in Korean manufacturing industries through the strengthening of product competitiveness and cost competitiveness. We developed a research model indicating that R&D investments positively affect product competitiveness and cost competitiveness, in which investments in R&D will finally lead to increases in exports in manufacturing industries. Product competitiveness is divided into new product innovation capability and product quality competitiveness, while cost competitive advantage is divided into labor productivity and capital productivity. We have collected data from 20 manufacturing industries between 2004 and 2014, and analyzed them through path analysis. Empirical results of this study are as follows. First, R&D investment in the manufacturing industry positively affects new product innovation capability, product quality competitiveness, labor productivity and capital productivity of the industries. Second, increased product quality competitiveness, labor productivity and capital productivity positively affects exports of Korean manufacturing industries. Thus, we can conclude that R&D investments in Korean manufacturing industries positively influence exports through increases in product quality competitiveness, labor productivity and capital productivity.

In the semiconductor manufacturing line, continuous efforts are being made to reduce the cost of products produced, and the demand for this is accelerating in the chemical mechanical polishing(CMP) process, and a representative example of these cost reduction items is the 5-Zone Ring. After about 150 hours of use in the CMP process, the thickness of the ring decreases to less than 1 mm and must be replaced with a new product. Therefore, in this study, bonding dispensers and press machines with a dispensing amount error of 10g±0.8% or less and a pressure uniformity of ±1.8% or less were developed to reduce semiconductor manufacturing costs by repeatedly regenerating worn parts of the retainer ring, and to minimize environmental pollution caused by industrial waste treatment.

스테인레스강은 철과 니켈, 크롬이 주 성분이다. 그 중에서 니켈이 차지하는 비율은 304계열 제품의 경우 8%에 불과하다. 그런데 STS 파이프 등 스테인레스 스틸 제품 원가의 60%를 차지하는 것이 니켈 가격이다. 결국 니켈 가격이 스테인레스 스틸 제품 가격을 좌지우지한다고 볼 수 있다. 우리 설비건설분야에서도 스테인레스 관련 제품이 공종에 따라 많이 투입되는 경우가 있다. 이번 호에서는 니켈의 국제 시세를 중심으로 스테인레스 제품 가격을 분석해 보고자 한다.

최근 국방예산의 공개와 투명성 확보를 요구하는 사회적 관심이 고조되어 투자 우선순위 조정 및 합리적인 제도 운영을 통한 예산의 효율적 집행이 중요시되고 있다. 쌍방독점의 형태를 가지는 방산물자의 조달에 있어서는 단순히 국가예산의 절약 뿐만 아니라 국방 목적을 위하여 품질과 성능 등 제품의 신뢰성에도 중점을 두어야 한다. 그러나 예산의 절약과 제품 신뢰성의 확보는 서로 상충되는 특성을 가지고 있다. 그러므로 방산물자와 관련된 원가계산 및 이윤산정에 관한 규정은 이러한 상충되는 목표를 적정하게 달성할 수 있도록 기업과 정부양측에게 공정한 가격의 설정을 지향하여야 한다.
