  • 극초음속 공기 흡입 추진기관에 대한 기초연구로서 본 논문은 단순 구조의 초음속 제트 화염을 기반으로 하는 초음속 연소기내에서의 유동과 연소 특성에 대한 충격파의 역할을 고찰하였다. 기존에 수행된 실험 결과와 최근에 외국에서 발표될 계산 결과를 토대로 초음속 연소기내에서의 충격파 역할을 체계적으로 정리해 보고자 함이 본 연구 발표의 목적이다.(중략)

  • A numerical study on lifted flame structure in impinging jet geometry with syngas composition ratio was investigated. The numerical calculations including chemical kinetic analysis were conducted using SPIN application of the CHEMKIN Package with Davis-Mechanism. The flame temperature and velocity profiles were calculated at the steady state for one-dimensional stagnation flow geometry. Syngas mixture compositions were adjusted such as $H_2:CO=10:90(10P)$, 20 : 80 (20P), 30 : 70 (30P), 40 : 60 (40P), 50 : 50 (50P). As composition ratios are changed from 10P to 50P, the axial velocity and flame temperature increase because the contents of hydrogen that have faster burning velocity increase. This phenomenon is due to increase in good reactive radicals such as H, OH radical. As a result of active reactivity, the burning velocity is more faster and this is confirmed by numerical methods. Consequently, combustion reaction zone was moved to burner nozzle.

  • 본 연구에서는 작은 층류화염을 형성하는 소형의 연소기에 대해 화염의 안정 화를 위하여 선회가 가해지는 등축분류 층류제트 확사화염의 구조에 미치는 선회의 강 도, 연료와 공기의 출구 레이놀즈 수, 연료와 공기의 선회방향의 영향등을 이론적인 모델의 구성과 수치실험을 통하여 고찰한다.

  • This study focuses on the near-field vortical structure and dynamics of coaxial jets. The characteristics of laminar flow and mixing in coaxial jets are investigated using a unsteady flow simulation. In order to analyze the geometic effects on the vortical structure, several cases of different configurations are selected for various values of the velocity ratio of inner jet to outer jet. From the result, it is confirmed that mixing is promoted by the development of vortical structure and the interaction between inner jet and outer jet. This feature is strongly related to the vortex frequency in the shear-layers. The vortex frequency depends on the velocity ratio and the lip thickness of inner nozzle, but the outer pipe length has no effect on the frequency variation.

  • The snapshot method is introduced to approximate the coherent structures of planar forcing jet flow. The numerical simulation of flow field is simulated by discrete vortex method. With snapshot method we could treat the data efficiently and approximate coherent structures inhered in the planer jet flow. By forcing the jet at a sufficient amplitude and at a well-chosen frequency, the paring can be controlled in the region of the jet. Finally we expressed the underlying coherent structures of planar jet flow in the minimum number of modes by Karhunen-Loeve transformation in order to understand jet flow and to make the information storage and management in computers easier.

원형 충돌 제트에서의 유동 및 온도 특성 (Flow and Temperature Characteristics in a Circular Impinging Jet)

  • In the present study, we perform LES of turbulent flow and temperature fields in a circular impinging jet at Re=5000 for two cases of H/D=2 and 6 (H denotes the distance between the jet exit and flat plate, and D does the diameter of the jet exit). In the case of H/D=2, the regular vortical structures observed in free jet do not exist because of the smaller distance than the potential core. The Nusselt number on the wall is largest at $r/D{\cong}10.67$ where vortex rings Impinge. At $r/D{\cong}1.5{\~}2.0$, the vortex rings induce the secondary vortices, resulting in a secondary peak in the Nusselt number there. In the case of H/D=6, the vortex rings change into three-dimensional vortical structures and the small-scale vortices impinge on the flat plate. The increase of turbulent intensity due to small-scale vortices results in the largest Nusselt number at the stagnation point.

초음속 동축 제트의 구조에 미치는 외부노즐 분사각의 영향 (Effect of Outer Nozzle Ejection Angle on Jet Structure issuing from Supersonic Dual Coaxial Nozzle)

  • This paper experimentally investigates the characteristics of dual coaxial jet issuing from inner supersonic nozzle and four kinds of outer converging nozzle of 40, 50, $60^{\circ}$ and $70^{\circ}$ in outer ejection angle. The pressure ratio of the stagnation to the exit ambient pressures in the inner supersonic nozzle of constant expansion rate is 7.5, which is corresponded to the condition of a slightly underexpanded, and that of outer nozzle is 4.0. Flow visualizations by using of shadowgraph method, impact pressure and centerline static pressure measurements are presented. It is found that the jet structure is changed significantly by the variation of outer nozzle ejection angle. Impact pressure level is lower and undulation of static pressure is higher, as the injection angle of outer jet increases.

  • 2차 유동을 이용한 추력제어법은 추진노즐 벽면에 설치된 injection hole을 통해 유동을 초음속유동장으로 분산하여 추력을 제어하는 방법으로, 최근 추진시스템의 응용에서 많은 주목을 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 수치해석 방법을 이용하여 SITVC 유동장을 상세히 연구한다. 수치계산에는 3차원, 압축성 Navier-Stokes방정식이 적용되었으며, 그 결과는 이전의 유용한 실험결과와 비교한다. 본 수치해석 결과로부터 2차 유동의 유입에 의해 야기되는 충격파와 추진노즐로부터 방출된 제트구조를 상세하게 가시화한다.

동특성 개선을 위한 제트직기 구조물의 유한요소모델 개발 (A Development of Finite Element Model on Jet Loom Structures for the Improvement of Dynamic Characteristics)

  • Since many reciprocating and rotating components are attached to jet loom structure. it is exposed to a more vibration and moise problems than the other textile machinery. Thus the design of the jet loom frame is very important to characterize the dynamic response. In this study, a finite element model of jet loom main frame was developed to investigate the dynamic characteristics of jet loom. Two different finite element models of different main frames were constructed and these models were validated by the experimental results. Dynamic characteristics such natural frequencies and mode shapes were in good agreement between the finite element analysis and experimental results within 10% error range. It is expected that the result from this study can be used as the basic information of jet loom dynamic analysis and be extended for further analysis of forced response case.
