프레스 라인의 자재.자동.공급이송시스템의 개발

  • 프레스 라인에서는 안정성 및 생산성향상을 위하여 자재 공급, 이송공정의 자동화가 필수적이다. 본 자동화시스템은 고압 액튜에이터와 AC 서보시스템을 이용하여 프레스 간에 자재를 이송하는 ARM과 프레스의 작업사이클과 이송 ARM을 운동하여 작업을 제어하는 PLC로 구성되었다. 이 연구서는 한국과학기술원 CAD/CAM 연구실팀에 의해 작성되었으며, 시스템의 개요, 시스템제어용 프로그램의 구조, 그리고 문제점과 전망에 대하여 논하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 공동 작업을 위한 응용 개발에 있어 사용자의 다양한 요구를 충족시킬 수 있는 일반적 세션 제어와 고급 서비스 제공을 위한 세션 관리자의 설계와 구현에 관하여 제안한다. 멀티미디어 응용이 동시에 사용이 가능하도록 지원하므로 하나의 시스템에서 다중의 세션이 활성화되어도 여러 응용의 동시 미디어 사용이 가능하도록 한다. 하나의 호스트에서 다양한 응용을 통해 다수의 세션에 참여할 수 있도록 하기 위한 다중 세션 지원, 지각자 처리, 조기 퇴실 허용 등의 기능 등이 있다.

  • 이동 에이전트는 네트워크 상에서 필요에 따라 자발적으로 이종의 호스트들을 이동하면서 정해진 작업을 실행하고 결과를 제공하는 프로그램인데, 온라인 쇼핑, 실시간 장치제어, 분산처리작업 등에 응용할 수 있는 기술이다. 그러나 이동 에이전트의 보안 문제 등 해결해야 될 여러 가지 문제점들을 안고 있다. 본 논문은 이동 에이전트 보안을 위한 트러스티드 플랫폼 비용, 설치 및 운영의 어려운 점을 해결하기 위하여 트러스티드 플랫폼을 공유하여 서비스 제공자들이 쉽게 이동 에이전트를 위한 신뢰할 수 있는 플랫폼 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 하는 방법을 제안한다.

Interface of Tele-Task Operation for Automated Cultivation of Watermelon in Greenhouse

  • Computer vision technology has been utilized as one of the most powerful tools to automate various agricultural operations. Though it has demonstrated successful results in various applications, the current status of technology is still for behind the human's capability typically for the unstructured and variable task environment. In this paper, a man-machine interactive hybrid decision-making system which utilized a concept of tole-operation was proposed to overcome limitations of computer image processing and cognitive capability. Tasks of greenhouse watermelon cultivation such as pruning, watering, pesticide application, and harvest require identification of target object. Identifying water-melons including position data from the field image is very difficult because of the ambiguity among stems, leaves, shades. and fruits, especially when watermelon is covered partly by leaves or stems. Watermelon identification from the cultivation field image transmitted by wireless was selected to realize the proposed concept. The system was designed such that operator(farmer), computer, and machinery share their roles utilizing their maximum merits to accomplish given tasks successfully. And the developed system was composed of the image monitoring and task control module, wireless remote image acquisition and data transmission module, and man-machine interface module. Once task was selected from the task control and monitoring module, the analog signal of the color image of the field was captured and transmitted to the host computer using R.F. module by wireless. Operator communicated with computer through touch screen interface. And then a sequence of algorithms to identify the location and size of the watermelon was performed based on the local image processing. And the system showed practical and feasible way of automation for the volatile bio-production process.

  • The purpose of construction project management is to achieve planned quality by adequate cost and schedule of the project, thus the effective time management is a critical factor to actualize the object. But the traditional time management by using milestone has several limitations which are not sufficiently considered mutual relation and variated from the task. On this wise, applying the concept and principles of lean construction to the project will be the best way not only reduce waste and variation, but also improve the productivity and ability to overcome limitation as mentioned above. Thus the study, Last Planner System, specially focuses on constraint analysis which is used in lookahead planning system. The results of this research will provide the constraints classification that is able to improve work reliable and percent plan complete when time planning by controlling constraints of project.

  • 종래 가스절연개폐장치용 제어 패널은 아날로그 제어방식으로 제어 패널의 시퀀스 제어회로를 계전기, 스위치, 카운터, 타이머, 파이로트 램프, 경보 표시장치, 케이블 등을 이용하여 구현한다. 그래서 제어 패널 내부에 각종 계전품과 케이블이 많이 필요하게 되어서 복잡한 것이 단점이다. 또한, 시퀀스 제어회로의 수정이 필요하면 계전품, 배선을 수정해야 하므로 제어 패널의 유연성이 낮다. 이것을 디지털 제어 패널로 대체하면 아날로그 제어방식으로는 구현하기가 어렵거나 불가능한 기능들을 쉽게 구현할 수 있으며, 시퀀스 제어회로의 수정이 필요하면 종래에는 계전품, 결선을 수정해야 했으나 소프트웨어의 수정만으로 가능하여 제어 패널의 유연성이 향상되며 제어기의 내부가 PCB 보드로 되어 있어서 제어 패널의 유지보수성이 향상되며, 종래에는 계전품 케이블을 이용하여 구현한 기능들이 소프트웨어로 가능하게 되므로 제어 패널의 배선이 많이 축소되어 조립 작업성이 향상되고 원가절감이 가능하다. 원격 통신기능이 가능하여 SCADA/REMOTE와 통신으로 연결되어 변전소 종합자동화에 적합하다.

A Feasibility Study in Forestry Crane-Tip Control Based on Kinematics Model (1): The RR Manipulator (기구학적 모델 기반 임업용 크레인 팁 제어방안에 관한 연구(1): RR 매니퓰레이터)

  • This study aims to propose a crane-tip control method to intuitively control the end-effector vertically or horizontally for improving the crane work efficiency and to confirm the control performance. To verify the control performance based on experimental variables, a laboratory-scale crane was manufactured using an electric cylinder. Through a forward and reverse kinematics analysis, the crane was configured to output the position coordinates of the current crane-tip and the joint angle at each target point. Furthermore, a method of generating waypoints was used, and a dead band using lateral boundary offset (LBO) was set. Appropriate parameters were selected using bang-bang control, which confirmed that the number of waypoints and LBO radius were associated with positioning error, and the cylinder speed was related to the lead time. With increased number of waypoints and decreased LBO radius, the positioning error and the lead time also decreased as the cylinder speed decreased. Using the proportional control, when the cylinder velocity was changed at every control cycle, the lead time was greatly reduced; however, the actual control pattern was controlled by repeating over and undershoot in a large range. Therefore, proportional control was performed by additionally applying velocity gain that can relatively change the speed of each cylinder. Since the control performed with in a range of 10 mm, it was verified th at th e crane-tip control can be ach ieved with only th e proportional control to which the velocity gain was applied in a control cycle of 20 ms.

  • The purpose of this paper is to build on automatic system for the shot ball transfer hoist. The shot ball is used to remove completely paint or leftovers before spreading the new paint on a large vessels surface. The shot ball is made of melted iron through cooling process, and it is transferred to hopper by electromagnet of hoist. Currently, the transfer process of the shot ball is performed by manual operation, and the transfer process is inefficient. So we have developed an automatic system to replace the manual system. The developed automation systems have efficient and accurate position control performance.

  • Wireless sensor network is consist of multiple sensor nodes and performs a shared tasks through the coordination of sensor nodes. Traffic in WSN is categorized as periodical monitoring traffic, event-driven traffic and query-based traffic. Periodic traffic takes significant proportion of the whole traffic processing because multiple sensor nodes generate traffic in a steady interval although the generation frequency of periodic traffic is low. In this paper, we propose a traffic control algorithm of network protocol for periodic traffic in terms of energy efficiency and conduct performance analysis of the algorithm.
