PD controller design for Micro Gyroscope and Its Performance Test (마이크로 자이로스코프를 위한 PD 제어기 설계 및 성능시험)

  • This paper presents a performance improvement result with the aid of closed feedback controller loop to a micro gyroscope. The dynamic model of a micro gyroscope is derived and a conventional proportional and derivative controller is designed via frequency domain analysis. The proposed control loop is implemented using several analog devices and applied to the SNU-Bosch MEMS gyroscope to check its performance improvement in real environment. The experiments demonstrated the performance improvement with the proposed feedback control loop. The bandwidth, linearity, and bias stability are improved to 78 Hz, 0.504 %, and 0.043 deg/sec, respectively, from 35 Hz, 2.07 %, and 0.066 deg/sec of open loop system.

  • 소방대상물에 기 설치되어 있는 연기감지기에 대한 정밀한 감지 성능 시험의 요구에 부응하기 위하여 현장에서 국내 기술기준에 적합하게 시험할 수 있는 휴대용 연기감도 시험기에 대하여 연구하였다. 휴대용 연기감도시험기는 점검 현장에서 간이로 감도시험을 할 수 있도록 연기원으로 동양 2호지를 사용하여 연기를 발생시키고, 농도를 제어하고 일정풍속 유지가 가능하여 현장에 설치된 연기감지기의 정밀한 시험이 가능하도록 하였다.

Evaluation Method of Self-healing Performance of Cement Composites (시멘트 복합체의 자기치유 성능평가 방법)

  • In this study, in order to evaluate the self-healing performance of cement composites the self-healing test method and the analysis method were suggested by applying constant water head permeability test, chloride migration test and repeated bending test. The method of making a cracked specimen and controlling crack width are also proposed. Constant head water permeability test can evaluate the healing performance by using the decreasing rate of water flow passing through the crack zone of a specimen. Furthermore, the equivalent crack width can be used to intuitively investigate the healing effect with healing period. The chloride migration test can evaluate the healing rate by the decreasing rate of the diffusion coefficient obtained by ASTM C 1202. Mechanical healing performance can be evaluated using ISR and IDR estimated from load vs. CMOD relationship graph obtained through the repeated bending test. Finally, the applicability of proposed self-healing evaluation methods was examined by testing mortar specimens with or without self-healing agents.

  • This paper aims to establish a reconfigurable flight simulation environment to conduct safety evaluation of various electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Since the inceptor, aircraft dynamics model, and controller applied to each eVTOL aircraft are different, it was configured to be variable so that a simulation can be executed for each eVTOL aircraft. Test elements and performance indicators were set to perform safety evaluation of eVTOL aircraft. Ground auxiliary equipments were designed and implemented in a simulation environment according to test procedures for each test element. In addition, to analyze safety performance, a simulation flight data collection environment based on MATLAB/Simulink and a tool for safety performance analysis were implemented. Test flight and analysis were conducted in the implemented simulation environment in this paper. Finally, this study shows the environment was verified by confirming that it was performed normally.

  • This study described the design scheme for each step of the production test for the Fire Control System(FCS) of the K-55A1 PIP business of Hanwha Thales since 2011. From the time of receipt of the product It is necessary to improve the FCS's reliability by using the Unit Test, burn-In test, System Test. FCS of K-55A1 acts as a 'head' that control the self-propelled howitzer, and connected with the electrical and physical connection of self-propelled howitzer's multiple unit (Inertial navigation systems(IN), Muzzle Velocity Radar (MVR)) for the normal operation without an inch of error in operating. We designed the production testing equipment automatically as much as possible and designed with the environment similar to the self-propelled howitzer. by using this production testing equipment, It should help for the strengthen national defense of the Republic of Korea.

  • The study of input and output characteristics in dynamic motion control is important indicator of the performance of mechanical equipment and is the factors to be considered during commissioning and maintenance of machinery or equipment, and project planning. The Analysis on dynamical characteristic of the input/output of the automation solution that used for motion control in machinery, is represented the control performance of device and including controller which connected at automation network by considering period of the frequency as applied load. This paper was constructed the simulator of B & R Powerlink to be widely used for motion control in the machine and showed the dynamic system characteristics by analysing the period.

  • LCS(Launch Control System) in Space Center performs the ground and flight tests of launch vehicle. Those tests require data monitoring and control functions to the external systems such as launch vehicle, launch pad, and propellant supply system, etc. The LCS is composed of real time control system, simulation system, data server, external network, etc. The purpose of the simulation system is to simulate launch vehicle, and it is used for evaluation test of the LCS. This paper described the simulation system overview, the concept design, and the real time data processing evaluation tests of the simulator, gateway, data distribution server which are constituents of the simulation system.

  • NC 공작기계의 contour 운동 오차를 측정하기 위하여 사용되는 Ball-Bar에 의한 원호 보간 시험 데이터를 이용하여 NC controller의 성능을 평가 할 수 있는 S/W에 의한 방법을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 지금까지는 분석이 어려웠던 Masrer-Slave Changeover의 분석을 가능하게 하였으며, Ball-Bar로 부터 얻어지는 데이터를 Weighted Residual Method에 의한 종합적인 분석을 하였으며, 오차 원인별 비교를 위해 Eztra Sum of Squares Method를 도입하였다. 본 연구의 실제 적용을 위한 측정 및 분석 S/W를 개발하였으며, 결과적으로 NC controller의 성능평가에 유용함을 알 수 있었다. 무부하 조건에서의 Ball-Bar에 의한 분석 데이터와의 비교를 위하여 원형 시편을 가공하고, 진원도 측정 및 분석을 통하여 유사한 오차 pattern을 가짐을 알 수 있었다.

  • PID(Proportional, Integral, Derivative)제어기는 플랜트 자동화 현장에서 가장 많이 사용 되는 공정 제어기이다. 그래서 제어기의 최적화 튜닝 결과가 플랜트의 효율향상과 제어성능 및 안정적 운영에 직접적으로 영향을 미치고 있다. 제어기의 튜닝은 고도의 경험과 지식을 필요하기 때문에 숙련된 제어 엔지니어에게도 부담스런 일이다. 최근에는 PC를 기반으로 한 튜닝 기법이 많이 연구되고, 상업용으로 튜닝 소프트웨어가 여러 가지 출시되어 있기에 이에 대한 관심과 적용이 점차 증가되고 있는 추세이며, 튜닝 엔지니어에게도 좋은 튜닝 툴(Too)로서 인식되고 있다. 그러나 화력발전소의 복잡한 제어루프에는 그다지 적용되지 않고 있어, 튜닝 소프트웨어에 대한 기능 및 특성을 파악하고 이에 대한 적용 결과를 통하여 화려발전소의 제어루프에는 어떻게 유용하게 사용 될 수 있는지 시험하고, 적용한 결과를 소개하고자 한다.

  • Recently, we developed a new subway train with many cooperative companies. The main controller of the subway train is Control and Monitoring System (TCMS), so we conducted requirement analysis of TCMS considering system performance, easy maintenance and service oriented flexibility. Hence, we adopted new bus architecture and QNX as a Real-time Operating System (RTOS) and developed hardware systems. The functions of TCMS are employed into two computers, service computer and control/monitor computer, to increase on their performance and to yield easy maintenance and to satisfy customer needs. The TCMS controls and monitors control devices equipped in the train through various protocols which are implemented in hardware. In order to evaluate the performance of the system and to satisfy reliability, various experiments including EMC/ECI were performed. Now the TCMS is installed on the newly developed train and is under performance evaluation through test driving.
