Immunoelectrophoretic analysis of major component proteins In cystic fluid of Taenia solium metacestodes (면역전기영동법에 의한 유구낭미충 낭액의 구성 단백질 분석)

  • When cystic fluid of Taenia solium metacestodes (CF) was filtrated through Sephacryl S-300 Superfine, major proteins were in fractions III add IV Major protein in fraction III was Band C protein of 150 kDa and that in fraction IV was Band N protein (Choi et of., 1990). When CF was electrophoresed in 0.9% agarose gel and reacted with anti-CF rabbit serum (RACF), two main bands, a long outer and a short inner band, were precipitated, together with 8 minor bands. RACF reacted with fraction III forming the long outer band whereas RACF formed the short infer band with fraction IV in immunoelectrophoresis (IEP) The long outer precipitin band of CF fraction III was similar to antigen B in hydatid fluid (HF) of Oriol et at. (1971), while the short inner band of CF fraction IV was similar to HF antigen 5 of Caption et at. (1967) . When HF was reacted with RACF, the short inner band was immunoprecipitated without forming the long outer band. Common antigenicity between CF and HF seemed to exist in fraction IV rather than in fraction III of CF. Patient sera of neurocysticercosis reacted more frequently with fraction III than with fraction IV.

A Study on Reactivity of Zinc-Based Sorbents (아연계흡수제의 반응특성 규명연구)

  • In this research, effects of the types and amounts of binders and additives on desulfurization and regeneration reactivities of zinc titanate were investigated. Bentonite and kaolinite were used as binders and Mo-based, Ni-based, and Cu-based compounds were used as additives. A thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) was utilized to investigate reactivities of desulfurization and regeneration for each sorbent. Two-cycle reactions of desulfurization-regeneration were performed in the TGA reactor. Results of XRD analysis showed that all sorbents had the crystalline phases of $Zn_2TiO_2$ and $Zn_2Ti_3O_8$ irrespective of the type and amount of binder and additive. Kaolinite-bound sorbents gave higher surface areas than bentonite-bound ones and the surface areas and pore volumes of sorbents increased with amount of binder increased. It was found that the most suitable temperatures for desulfurization and regeneration were 680$^{\circ}$C and 730$^{\circ}$C, respectively, and the sorbent prepared by the addition of 3 mol% CuO showed the best performance in terms of desulfurization and regeneration. Nio-added sorbents had good regenerability whereas $MoO_3-based$ sorbents showed poor performance. In cycle experiments in a fixed bed reactor 3 mol% CuO-added sorbents showed high reactivity.

  • This study is an overview of the processing of national defense reform in the meantime and to analyze the development of alternative processes are conducted in all the service system operating status of the military regime aims at prese-nting the efficient utilization of natural science and engineering professionals. The purpose of this study was to discuss about the efficient utilization of science and engineering professionals according to the Defense Reform organized as follows. Chapter 2 looked into the concept of conscription system and cause for change, Chapter 3 analyzed utilization of science and engineering professionals and the practices related to engineering and professional workforce. Chapter 4 took to understand the military system improvement based on the derived implications will be presented the role of the relevant ministries. Chapter 5 Conclusion would present a summary of the results discussed above and deploy the argument in the direction. The study conclusions are First, the need to develop alternative military service system in the desired direction to derive a social consensus about the survival of the Selective Service System Status. Second, to establish a provisional Armed Forces to train science and engineering professionals with superior officers and noncom missioned officers and they should be able to contribute to the develop-ment of an individual's development and the national economy. In particular, legal and trial and error and failures of the system was carried out in the past in the process of seeking the required institutional improvements should not make the error to repeat.

Work·Family Compatibility Policy Usage and Parenting Stress : Focusing on Sex and Occupational Groups (일·가족 양립 정책 이용과 양육 스트레스 : 성별과 직업군을 중심으로)

  • Given the concern about the reduction in birth rate in Korea today, the objective of this study was to examine the association between Work·Family Compatibility policy and parenting stress, focusing on sex and occupational groups. Data from the 13th year Panel Study on Korean Children were analyzed by descriptive statistics, a one-way analysis of variance, and Duncan's post hoc test. The results of this study were as follows: First, the most commonly used aspect of the Work·Family Compatibility policy among both males and females was flextime, irrespective of occupational types. Also, flextime was the most used policy among professional workers. Second, regarding the use of related systems and parenting stress, it was found that all respondents perceived above average parenting stress. Specifically, the parenting stress scores of male users of flextime were higher than those of family care leave users. The parenting stress of military personnel were the lowest among males' occupational groups. Among females, the parenting stress scores of maternity leave users were higher than those of shorter workweek user. Diverse discussions and implications were suggested about promoting the usage of Work·Family Compatibility policy.
