  • This paper aims to reveal that 'identity' plays the crucial role of explaining the relation between humans and space. Geography is preoccupied with footprints of humans which are engraved on the ground. It explores why such tokens are left over. It explains the existence of humans through footsteps of them. Men leaves traces of themselves to notify that who I was and who we were. The traces left behind by humans contain narratives of their own. Through those narratives, the very men who left the traces on the ground are to be grasped. A trace engraved by a person expresses its own identity of representing that person, so the narrative contained by one trace is the narrative of that individual. The identify which is composed of its own narrative can be largely divided into two types. The two are 'changing identity' and 'unchanging identity'. 'Changing identity' shapes the identity of oneself by difference. 'Unchanging identity' constructs the identity by identifying itself with sameness. However, as one's figure in everyday life becomes identical or different, identity also varies through processes of generation and repetition. Therefore, identity is currently changing and in progress.

  • The current paper examines the role of the identity of entrepreneurs in the emergence and evolution of a new organizational form by empirically analyzing the evolution of eBook publishers in Korea from 1996 to 2011. Drawing on the recently developed identity-based theory of organizational form in the organizational ecology literature, we test hypotheses on the effects of focused and diffused organizational identities on organizational founding in an emergent organizational population. The results of our empirical analysis that tested three hypotheses about a positive relationship between focused identity and form emergenceand negative relationships between diffused (horizontal and vertical) identity and form emergence largely supported the argument of identity-based entrepreneurship. General implications are discussed.

The crisis types were internal versus external crisis, crisis responses were denial versus apology, and using identification framing $2{\times}2{\times}2$ factorial design were used. Two hundreds forty students participated in the experiment. The result showed the significant effectiveness of identification framing in different crisis types and crisis responses.

  • This research aims to examine the relationship between the overseas Koreans' return visit for the participation in the National Sports Festival(NSF) and transnational identity negotiation. The subjects for this study were 378 overseas Koreans who took part in the 96th NSF in 2015. The results are as follows; First, the higher the motivation for socializing with others, maintaining a national identity and self-realization, the more the positive experience in the NSF. However, the higher the motivation for releasing stress and helping business, the more the negative experience they have in the NSF. Second, while the higher the motivation for releasing stress and helping business, the stronger the identity with settlement. However, the higher the motivation for maintaining a national identity, the stronger the identity with origin. Third, while the more the negative experience in the NSF, the stronger the identity with settlement. However, the less the negative experience in the NSF, the stronger the identity with origin.

  • This paper aims to analyse the historical-cultural sources of Azerbaijani national identity through the aspects of the Persian, the Turkish and the Russian influences, and to illuminate its complex characteristics. Then it will be examined the impact and consequences that the Azerbaijani identity exerted on its foreign policy. In the modern world, identities are formed and represented within a variety of shifting social, political, economic, cultural, and discursive contexts. Such understandings can have exclusionary consequences, particularly in pluralistic environments. Since its independence, the PFA government resorted to the arguments of ethnic origin and Azerbaijan's Turkishness to achieve its goals. Domestically, the failure of the ethnicity-based foreign policy was so great that even Azerbaijani Kurds, who under the Soviets had been virtually absorbed into the Azeri population, felt alienated and betrayed. Internationally, Azerbaijan turned Russia and Iran against itself and reduced bargaining power of Turkey since the latter grew increasingly concerned not to exacerbate its relations with Russia.
