Post-tensioning System with Externally Unbonded CFRP Strips for Strengthening RC Members (RC 부재의 휨 보강을 위한 외부 비부착형 탄소섬유판 포스트텐션 시스템)

  • Experimental study has been performed in order to investigate the behavior of RC beams strengthened with externally unbonded post-tensioned CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer) strips using embedded or stud-type plate anchorages. Total 10 small-scaled specimens were manufactured with the different post-tensioning level and types of mechanical anchorage as a main test parameter. A control specimen and specimens with simply bonded CFRP strips were included to compare the structural performances of each system. From the test results, it was observed that the specimens strengthened with simply bonded CFRP strips showed debonding failure below 50% of CFRP tensile strength due to premature debonding. On the other hand, all the specimens strengthened with post- tensioned unbonded CFRP strips reached the rupture strength of the CFRP strip. Also, it was observed that the specimens with stud-type anchorage have equivalent strengthening performance compared with embedded-type anchorage.

  • MEMS 저장 장치는 기존의 디스크 저장 장치와는 다른 물리적 특성을 가지고 있는 차세대 저장 장치이다. 때문에 MEMS 저장 장치의 물리적 특성을 고려하는 디스크 스케줄링과는 다른 관리 기법이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 MEMS 저장장치의 물리적 특성을 고려한 트랙 기반 스케줄링 방법에 대하여 제안하였다. 트랙 기반 스케줄링 기법은 스케줄링에서의 문제 상태 공간과 스케줄링을 위한 연산 횟수를 줄이고 상대적으로 정착시간에 많은 크기를 갖는 물리적 특성을 고려하여 정착시간의 추가 횟수를 줄임으로서 요청에 대한 빠른 서비스를 가능하게 해주고 요청에 대한 대기 시간을 고려함으로서 동시에 기아상태를 방지한다.

Development and Performance Test for Unbonded Post-Tensioned Anchor (비부착 강연선에 대한 포스트텐션 정착구 개발 및 성능 시험)

  • An unbonded post-tensioned anchor using a 15.2 mm diameter 7-wire strand was developed based on finite element analysis and experimental testing. In order to evaluate its performance, static load tests and load transfer tests were conducted following KCI-PS101. The static load tests and additional strand tensile tests confirmed that the developed anchor had a capacity more than nominal tensile strength of a 7-wire strand without any damage or deterioration. According to the result of load transfer tests for many different reinforcing details, specimens with no additional reinforcing bars sustained at least 1.64 times the nominal tensile strength of the strand.

An Experimental Study on the Performance of Compression-Type Anchor for CFRP Tendons (CFRP 긴장재용 압착형 정착장치의 정착성능에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced polymer) tendons can be used as an alternative to solve the corrosion problem of steel tendons. Since CFRP tendons are vulnerable to transverse pressure and stress concentration, the conventional anchorage system used for steel tendons can create an unreliable load carrying capacity and may result in a premature failure. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the anchorage system that is well suited for CFRP tendons. There are many types of anchorage systems for CFRP tendons, which can be classified into three types: wedge-type anchorage, bond-type anchorage, and compression-type anchorage. This paper deals with the compression-type anchorage system manufactured through swaging technology. Based on the previous test results performed by the authors, the dimension of anchorage sleeve, the use and non-use of the insert, and the compression pressure on the sleeve have been selected as the major parameters affecting the performance of the compression-type anchorage. Some anchorage sleeves have been tapered to reduce the stress concentration. Test results revealed that the performance of the anchorage system depends mainly on the dimension and the compression pressure. It has been verified that the tapered sleeve can effectively reduce the stress concentration.

Measurement of Lateral Prestress Force of UHPC Cross Beam using the Smart Tendon (스마트강연선을 이용한 UHPC 가로보의 횡방향 긴장력 계측)

  • 본 연구에서는 광섬유센서를 내장한 스마트강연선을 이용하여 초고성능콘트리트로 제작된 하이브리드 사장교 세그먼트의 횡방향 도입 긴장력을 계측하고 세그먼트 내부의 프리스트레스를 계측하여 즉시손실에 해당하는 정착장치 활동에 의한 손실과 마찰손실을 도로교설계기준(2005)의 설계 마찰손실과 비교하였다. 제작된 2개의 UHPC 사장교 세그먼트는 횡방향 길이 16.7m, 종방향 길이 1.75m, 높이 1.5m이며 각 시험체의 1/4, 1/2, 3/4지점에 긴장력을 계측하기 위해 3개의 FBG센서를 배치하였다. 긴장력은 유압잭을 이용하여 5개의 강연선에 동시에 순차적으로 도입되었으며, 단부에서 최대 도입 긴장력은 세그먼트 1은 734kN, 세그먼트 2는 639kN이었다. 도로교설계기준에 제시된 마찰계수의 중간값(파상마찰계수=0.00405, 곡률마찰계수=0.20)을 사용하여 FBG센서 위치에서 계산된 긴장력은 계측치와 5% 이내의 차이를 보였으며, 정착장치 활동에 의한 순간손실은 긴장단에서 최대 12.8%로 계측되었다. 이로부터 이 연구에서 제시하는 긴장력계측방법의 적용성을 입증할 수 있었으며, 향후 이 방법은 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 교량의 설계기준 마찰계수 개정을 위한 연구에 좋은 도구로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

An Experimental Study on the Performance of Bond-Type Anchorage Systems with Various Dimensions of Steel Mold (CFRP 긴장재용 부착형 정착 장치의 강관 몰드 제원에 따른 정착 성능 실험 연구)

  • This paper contains the experimental performance evaluation results of bond-type anchorage systems with the CFRP(carbon fiber reinforced polymer) tendon. The preliminary tests were performed to find the appropriate filling materials in the steel molds. A total of five materials including epoxy or cement mortar have been used as fillers in the steel molds. Results of the preliminary tests showed that specimen filled with non-shrinkage mortar showed maximum tensile strength. Based on the finding, the non-shrinkage mortar was selected as filler for anchoring CFRP tendons. Additional tests were performed as a parametric study to select proper size of steel molds such as external diameter, thickness, and length. The proper size of steel molds with non-shrinkage mortar was selected based on the test results, which gave stable tensile performance.

  • C.T의 출현은 그때까지의 X선 영상법이 3차원적 물체를 오차원적 영상으로 투영한 방법인데 반하여, 3차원 물체의 단면을 선택하여 2차원적 영상을 그대로 영상화하는 새로운 형태의 획기적인 방법으로 환자의 진단에 크게 공헌하고 있다. C.T의 기술은 급속하에 발전되어 현재 거의 기술정착단계에 도달했다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 C.T의 발전은 X선을 이용한 디지탈 영상진단 장치의 발전은 여러가지 형태로 나타나고 있다.

Flexural Behavior and Analysis of RC Beams Strengthened with Prestressed CFRP Plates (프리스트레스트 탄소섬유판으로 보강된 철근콘크리트 보의 휨 거동 및 해석)

  • In this paper, a total of 13 beams with bonding, anchorage system, amount of prestressing and span length as variables of experiment were tested in flexural test and analyzed in finite element analysis; one control beam, two simplified FRP-boned beams, four prestressed FRP-unbonded beams and four prestressed FRP-bonded beams. Also, a nonlinear finite element analysis of beams in the flexural test is performed by DIANA program considered material nonlinear of concrete, reinforcement and the interfacial bond-slip model between concrete and CFRP plates. The failure mode of prestressed CFRP plated-beams is not debonding but FRP rupture. RC members strengthened with external bonded prestressed CFRP plates occurred 1st and 2nd debonding of the composite material. After the debonding of CFRP plates occurs in bonded system, behavior of bonded CFRP-plated beams change into that of unbonded CFRP-plated beams due to fix of the anchorage system. Also, It was compared flexural test results and analytical results of RC members strengthened with CFRF plates. The ductility of beams strengthened by CFRP plates with the anchorage system is considered high with the ductility index of above 3. Analysis results showed a good agreement with experiment results in the debonding load, yield load and ultimate load.
