As demands of intelligent urban geospatial information services are increasing in u-Cities, development and use of service standards for the cities are required to make the services interoperable. Conformance tests can be conducted for the standards to implement the services more interoperably and consistently. To improve the interoperability between services, it is necessary to build an evaluation model for services in a perspective of conformance tests. In the context, this study reviews the related references and establishes a conceptual model of the conformance tests for the services and provides an application of the model to a monitoring service for flowing water quantity to prove its usefulness.

HANTEC 2.0 (A Korean Test Collection) is distributed for evaluation of information retrieval systems. HANTEC 2.0 is consists of 120,000 documents, 50 topics(queries) and relevant information. The relevant information is constructed by pooling methods. The relevant information is very important for evaluation of information retrieval systems. So we would like to review of the relevant information by manual method. It will be show validation of pooling method and HANTEC relevant information. We make tool for manual review of relevant information and review of that. We review of relevant information between manual relevant information and HANTEC's. We review of pooling method and HANTEC relevant information. The manual relevant information will be use evaluation of information retrieval systems.

정보검색 시스템의 검색 효율 향상을 위해서 다양한 적합성 피드백 방법이 개발되었다. 그러나 한국어 정보검색 시스템을 위한 적합성 피드백에 대한 연구는 거의 이루어지지 않은 실정이다. 이 논문에서는 기존에 개발된 적합성 피드백 방법을 한국어 정보 시스템에 적용하여 검색 효율을 비교하고, 새로운 적합성 피드백 방법을 개발 적용하여 기존의 방법들과 검색 효율을 비교분석하였다. 적합성 피드백은 원질의문을 확장할 단어 선택과 선택된 단어 가중치 부여로 이루어진다. 원질의문이 입력되면 검색된 적합문서에서 원질의문을 단어와 밀접한 관계가 있는 단어를 선택하기 위하여 가중치를 부가한후, 원질의문에 추가하여 질의문을 확장한다. 이 논문에서는 원질의문 확장을 위한 단어 선택과 단어 가중치 부여를 위해 3가지 값을 사용한다. 첫째, TF는 적합문서 내의 단어 빈도의 총합이다. 둘째, idf는 해당 문서집단의 역문헌빈도이다. 셋째, r/R은 검색된 적합문서 중에서 해당단어가 있는 적합문서의 비율을 나타낸다. TF와 idf는 정보검색 시스템에서 일반적으로 사용되고있는 값이고 r/R은 이 논문에서 제안한 새로운 값이다.

정보통신의 발전으로 유익한 정보를 쉽게 공유할 수 있는 환경이 조성되었으나, 각종 정보에 대한 불법적 침입, 공 격 등의 위협이 날로 증가하고 있다. 이에 대응하기 위해 많은 정보보호 제품이 개발되고 있으며, 이러한 제품의 성 능, 신뢰도를 평가하기 위한 방안도 최근 많이 제안되고 사용되고 있다. 특히 최근들어 정보보호 제품들이 관련 표준 규격에 적합하게 개발되었는지를 시험하는 적합성 시험에 대한 요구와 연구가 급증하는 실정이다. 본 고에서는 현재 사용되는 정보보호 제품의 평가 체계와 정보보호제품의 적합성 시험 평가 현황을 분석하였다.

사이버 패러다임으로 의하여 지식기반사회에서 요구되는 신뢰성과 안전성을 실현하기 위하여 정보보호 기능 이용 이 대중화됨에 따라 이러한 기능을 구현한 제품의 제조와 활용이 보편화되고 있다. 이에 따라 정보보호 제품에 대하 여서도 이를 이용하는 사용자들은 일반적인 개방형 시스템의 적합성 시험과 유사한 수준의 시험을 통과한 제품을 구매하여 자신에게 적절한 안전한 시스템을 구축하여 운용하기를 원하게 된다. 이를 위하여 본 고에서는 정보보호제품 의 표준적합성 시험과 관련된 국내외 동향을 살펴보고 국내 환경에 적용가능한 정보보호 제품의 적합성시험 및 인증 체계의 수립시의 고려사항들을 제안하고자 한다.

This research takes a user-centered approach to define relevance, the core concept in information retrieval. The literature on relevance has identified numerous factors affecting such a judgment. We examined the model of user relevance judgment that describes the relationship between user relevance criteria and different types of relevance with information search task. We consider 7 criteria of user relevance-topicality, novelty, reliability, understandability, specificity, richness, and interest-and 3 type of user relevance-cognitive relevance, situational relevance, and affective relevance. Data were collected from a semi-controlled survey and analyzed by a structural equation modeling. As a result, topicality and reliability were found to be the essential relevance criteria in all information retrieval tasks. In the fact search task, topicality, reliability, novelty, richness, and interest were found to be significant. In the problem solving search task, topicality, reliability, understandability, and specificity were found to be significant. In the decision making search task, topicality, reliability, novelty, understandability, richness, specificity, and interest were found to be significant. In addition, the relationships between types of user relevance were determined. This research made theoretical and practical contributions to the field of information retrieval by identifying a definite model of user relevance judgment.

PKI 정보보호 제품의 개발에 있어서 반드시 고려해야 하는 요소 가운데 하나는 PKI 정보보호 제품이 안전성, 신뢰 성 등의 요구조건을 만족하며, 확장성 및 상호연동성을 갖도록 개발되었는지 확인하는 것이다. 만약 이와 같은 사항들 이 만족되지 못한다면, 사용자는 PKI 정보보호 제품의 안전성 및 신뢰성을 의심할 수밖에 없다. 또한 다른 PKI 제품 들과의 연동에 있어서 문제를 일으킬 수밖에 없으며, 이는 결과적으로 사용자에게 불이익을 가져다 주게 된다. 이러한 문제를 방지하기 위해서는 개발 단계에서부터 X.509 등 관련된 기술 표준을 정확하게 준수하여야 한다. 또한 표준 적 합성 확인을 위해서 PKI 정보보호 제품이 표준에 따라 적합하게 구현되었는지 검증하는 절차가 필요하다. 즉, PKI 정 보보호 제품의 표준 적합성 여부에 대한 검증을 전문적으로 수행할 수 있는 시험도구의 개발이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 PKI 정보보호 제품의 표준 적합성 여부를 판단할 수 있는 시험 절차를 제시하고, 이에 따라 PKI 정 보보호 제품에 대한 검증을 수행할 수 있는 시험도구를 구현하였다. 즉, PKI 정보보호 제품이 인증 서비스 제공을 위 해 사용하는 X.509 등 인증 관련 기술이 표준을 준수하고, 이를 통해 PKI 제품 간의 상호운용성을 지원할 수 있는지 여부를 검증하려는 것이다.

The purpose of this research was to implement and verify an information retrieval(IR) system based on users' relevance criteria for information search tasks. For this purpose, we implemented an IR system with a dynamic ranking model using users' relevance criteria varying with the types of information search task and evaluated this system through user experiment. 45 participants performed three information search tasks on both IR systems with a static and a dynamic ranking model. Three Information search tasks are fact finding search task, problem solving search task and decision making search task. Participants evaluated top five search results on 7 likert scales of relevance. We observed that the IR system with a dynamic ranking model provided more relevant search results compared to the system with a static ranking model. This research has significance in designing IR system for information search tasks, in testing the validity of user-oriented relevance judgement model by implementing an IR system for actual information search tasks and in relating user research to the improvement of an IR system.

웹 에이전트는 사용자가 좀 더 손쉽게 웹 상의 정보를 얻을 수 있게 하는 것을 목표로 하는 인터넷 정보 검색 도구이다. 본 논문에서는 개인용 웹 에이전트 시스템에서 적합성 피드백(Relevance Feedback)에 의해 사용자의 취향을 학습하는 방법을 제시하고, 실험을 통하여 제시된 적합성 피드백에 의한 학습 방법이 사용자의 취향을 성공적으로 학습함을 보였다. 적합성 피드백을 혼용할 때와 각각 한가지만 사용할 때로 나누어 실험하였으며, 피드백이 진행되면서 검색결과의 정확도가 변화하는 정도를 관찰하였다.

An online experiment was conducted to test the subject-knowledge view of relevance theory in order to find evidence of a conceptual basis for relevance. Six experts in Library and Information Science (LIS), nine Master's students of LIS, and twelve non-experts judged the relevance of 14 abstracts within and outside of the LIS domain. Consistency among the judges was calculated by joint-probability agreement (PA) and interclass correlation coefficients (ICC). When using PA to analyze the judgements, non-experts had a higher consensus regardless of the task or division of groups. However, ICC calculations found Master's candidates had a higher level of consensus than non-experts within LIS, although the experts did not; and the agreement rates on the non-LIS task for all groups were only poor to moderate. It was only when the groups were analyzed as two groups (experts including Master's candidates and non-experts) that the expected trend of higher consistency among experts in the LIS task was seen.
