1940년대에 태어난 컴퓨터는 50년이 지난 오늘에 이르러는 4-5세대 인공지능 및 전문가 시스템의 일반화에 이르기까지, 추후 10년 후에 전개될 컴퓨터에 의한 정보통신 세계는 우리가 상상하는 기대치를 훨씬 넘어설 복합적인 멀티미디어와 무선이동통신의 세계가 될 것임에는 의심할 여지가 없다. 지구에 관한 위치, 크기, 형태에 대한 2차원적 정보처리 단계에서 환경과 도시, 인구와 교통에 대한 다차원적인 정보통신문명의 우리가 대비해야 할 지리정보공간과 관련한 속성정보의 동시구축이 우리의 정보인프라구축에는 우선적으로 GIS기술에 의하여 해결해야 할 과제가 된 것이다.

국내에서 광산업은 별달리 주목을 받지 못해왔다. 그간 광산업은 시장도 작고 돈은 별로 못벌지만 그래도 미래의 어느 시점에는 대박을 터뜨릴 가능성이 있는 ‘미래 지향성 사업’으로 분류돼 온 실정이었다. 현재 광산업은 21세기 초고속 정보화 사회의 기반 산업으로 인식되면서 광주첨단산업단지가 광산업을 이끄는 일번지가 되고 있다. 광주 첨단산업단지는 ‘광산업 중심지대’라는 명성에 걸맞게 광산업 관련 연구기관과 대학, 기업체들이 속속 자리를 잡으면서 ‘광산업 클러스터’의 면모를 갖춰 나가고 있다. 그간 지역적으로도 광주는 대기업 공장은 찾아보기 힘들 정도로 제조업 기반이 취약한 가운데 전형적인 소비형 도시로 성장해와 지역경제 활성화를 위해서 ‘광산업 클러스터’에 대해 거는 기대는 남다르다.

지능형교통시스템(ITS)은 교통부문의 정보화 사업으로 첨단기술을 이용하여 도로교통 상황을 신속히 파악하고 이를 바탕으로 각종 정보를 제공하여 이용자들이 효율적이고 안전한 방법으로 도로를 이용할 수 있도록 하는 장치이다. 우리나라의 ITS 사업은 90년대 초반에 착수하여 90년대 후반에 교통체계효율화법이 제정되면서 본격적으로 추진하고 있다. 과천시를 대상으로 ITS 시범사업을 이미 추진해왔고 올해에는 대전ㆍ전주ㆍ전주ㆍ제주 등 3개 도시에서 본격적인 시스템 구축을 추진하고 있다.

This paper is about the maintenance CALS system development and construction for the urban transit railway. The operation companies of urban transit railway are driving to construct the maintenance CALS system individually. So, there are concerned problems of duplication investment and waste of budget in the national aspect, inefficient CALS system construction, and etc. In order to resolve that, the KRRI is driving to development and construction of the standardized maintenance CALS system for the urban transit railway. This paper describes the result of basic design of the standardized maintenance CALS system using the CBD development method.

This paper proposes the method to develop information system for maintenance of urban transit. We have to develop the standard information system, but have difficult to get user's requirement. To solve this problem, we propose the method, web-based, component-based, and prototype-based development method. Proposed method may provide a procedure to develop information system that have hard to get user's requirement.

최근 NGIS, 토지정보관리체계화 등 중앙정부차원의 사업이나 도시정보화사업, 지하시설물 전산화 사업 등 지방자치단체를 중심으로 GIS를 활용한 사업이 본격적으로 시작되고 있다. 이 시점에서 일찍이 GIS에 대한 깊은 관심을 갖고 사업을 추진해 오고 있는 일본의 사례는 시사하는 바가 적지 않을 것이다. 이 글은 일본의 토지총합연구 1999년 가을호에 기고된 재단법인 일본건설정보총합센터의 히라이마사지 수석연구원의 글을 번역정리, 우리보다 앞서 GIS를 활용한 일본의 사례를 살펴보고자 한다.

This study conducted topic modeling, association analysis, and sentiment analysis focused on text mining in order to reflect regional characteristics in the process of establishing an information plan in Chungcheongbuk-do. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that Chungcheongbuk-do occupies a relatively high proportion of educational activities to bridge the information gap, and is interested in improving infrastructure to provide non-face-to-face, untouched administrative services, and bridge the gap between urban and rural areas. In addition, it is necessary to refer to the fact that there is a positive evaluation of the combination of bio and IT in the regional strategic industry and examples of ICT innovation services. It has been confirmed that smart cities have high expectations for the establishment of various cooperation systems with IT companies, but continuous crisis management is necessary so that they are not related to political issues. It is hoped that the results of this study can be used as one of the methods to specifically reflect regional changes in the process of informatization.

According to the enforcement of various laws for the ubiquitous city, the convergence technologies for the ubiquitous in the industry has been emerging. In this paper, we propose a method for the ubiquitous convergence technology by a functional integration of the public employment of the physical space and physical facilities, as the related laws are enforced and the city development plan is processed in the situation which constructs the ubiquitous and eco-city. We also present a scheme for the establishment to prepare the foundation of systematization, standardization, and information-oriented by providing an application example for the common-use-channel and unification IP pool based on the proposed method.

The purposes of this study are to raise the awareness of urban water not being efficiently managed and to propose a method for resolving this issue. To serve these purposes, a methodology was proposed to obtain sensing data in a real-time monitoring method and to build them into a GIS. Some sample data among sensing data was used to perform a series of trend analyses using several polynomial models. As a result of the aforementioned research, the proposed monitoring technique is expected to offer some important information in order to improve the reliability of urban water.

Since the damages caused by disasters increase every year associated with wrenching climatic changes and the diversification of the social structure, the efficient management system is required to reduce damages and an assessment of the vulnerable disaster areas is necessary to prevent and mitigate the damages. In this paper, we have estimated the vulnerable disaster areas based on the records of the past damage histories and performed the risk assessment of the social infrastructures in Busan city to provide the fundamental information for the real-time monitoring system and the systematic approach for disaster prevention system to build V-City model. These results are illustrated by using Geographical Information System (GIS) and the order of vulnerable disaster areas are also estimated.
