The collection management paradigm has drastically changed since the emergence of collection management activities on the internet. Due to the technological development of web, web has become the newly open field as a useful tool to facilitate collection management transactions. The purpose of this study is, by evaluating web sites of the university library’s collection management in United States, to construct the contents of collection management web site. To fulfill the purpose, 6 categories for the contents of the collection management web site are suggested. The result of this study can be used as the basic data for researching of collection management web site. Web site is playing a role of stepping up its activities and informing useful information on its selection tool and collection development policy.

This study asesses the effectiveness of Korean Government web sits in providing equitable and appropriate access to government web sites was evaluated. Five information contents of services, fluent operation of services, feedback mechanism, easiness of access, and design. The result showed that there are several issues for the government to address in formulating effective policy for government web sites although most information services provided by Government web sites were highly appreciated by the researcher. This article provides an overview of information policy issues to the government web site designers and administrators.

전 세계적으로 전자상거래의 수요가 폭발적으로 증가하고 있고, 많은 개인과 기업들이 전자상거래 사이트를 구축하여 운영하고 있지만 이를 사업적인 측면에서 수익과 연결시키지 못하고 있으며, 소비자에게 편리한 구매를 지원하지 못하는 등 많은 문제점이 야기되었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 전자상거래 사이트의 합리적인 평가 모델을 제시함으로써 전자상거래 웹사이트의 구축과 운영상의 기초 자료를 제공하고, 효율적 관리 및 활용 촉진을 도모하고자 한다. 따라서 현재 전자상거래 웹사이트의 실태를 점검 평가함으로써 궁극적으로 서비스 향상 그리고 개인과 기업 또는 조직의 생산성 향상 및 이윤 극대화 방안을 모색할 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 웹사이트의 성격에 따라 평가하는 기준과 가중치 또한 다르다는 인식 하에 선행연구와 여러 기관들의 평가기준을 고찰한 후, 평가변수의 체계적인 분석을 통해 전자상거래 웹사이트의 새로운 측정의 틀을 설계하고 이에 따른 평가 모델을 구축 제시하였다. 본 평가 모델을 통한 전자상거래 웹사이트의 평가는 운영자의 입장에서는 웹사이트의 효율적인 운영과 예산에도 많은 영향을 미칠 것이고, 이는 사용자 측면에서도 더욱 유리한 방향의 효과가 나타날 것이다.

웹사이트들의 급성장과 더불어 사용자들에게 유용한 정보를 제공하기 위해 대규모 웹사이트의 갱신 문제는 그 신선도 유지를 위해 적절한 시간 내에 요청된 갱신질의어를 수행하기 위한 많은 연구들이 진행되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 동적, 반동적, 정적 웹사이트의 베이스데이터들을 통함 관리하도록 설계 및 구현을 하였다. 웹사이트의 신선도 유지와 기아상태의 공정성을 유지하기 위해 요청된 갱신질의어 실행시간 할당을 위한 목표 갱신비율을 일정한 스케쥴링 주기마다 재계산하는 스케쥴링 알고리즘을 구현하였다.

This study is to develope the usability evaluation criteria for improving quality of user services in digital library website. It compared and analyzed major eight studies concerning usability evaluation of library website in foreign and domestic. This paper was suggested 36 items of evaluation criteria that are belongs to six domain(quality of links, feedback mechanism, accessibility, design, navigation and searching). Usability evaluation criteria for digital library websites suggested in this paper is a item-based level, and to observe generally.

인터넷 웹사이트의 규모가 커지면서 그 안에 담고 있는 정보의 양과 종류가 많아지고 복잡해지고 있다. 이에 사용자는 같은 사이트 내에서도 정보를 찾는 것에 어려움을 느끼고 있다. 이에 대한 해결책으로써 웹사이트 안에 있는 각 페이지들의 하이퍼링크 정보로부터 얻어낸 연결 정보를 분석하여 그 안에서 관계성을 추출 하고 이를 관련 있는 페이지들끼리의 모임으로 분류해서 시각화 하는 방법을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 시각화 인터페이스로써 태양계의 행성들을 메타포로 이용하였다. 즉 웹사이트 안의 페이지는 하나의 행성의 모습으로 표현되고, 페이지들의 하이퍼링크에 의한 연결된 수는 중력으로써 다른 페이지를 끌어 당기는 힘으로 사용된다. 이때 행성의 모습으로 시각화된 모든 페이지들은 서로의 끌어당기는 힘에 악해 유기적으로 재배치되는 모습의 인터랙션을 제공한다. 서로 다른 사이트는 구성 페이지들의 연관관계에 따라서 서로 다른 태양계의 모습으로 표현될 것이다. 결국 이 연구는 사용자에게 웹사이트의 대략적인 성격을 파악하는 것에 도움을 주고 웹 사이트 안에서의 페이지 탐색 시, 관련 주제의 정보가 속해있는 비슷한 페이지 들을 알려 줌으로써 보다 효율적인 정보 검색을 돕는다.

Recently, as user demand to receive various information through one integrated institution has increased, "Larchiveum," which integrates the functions and services of archives, libraries, and museums, has been established. Thus, web information services are provided in an integrated manner through the Larchiveum website. This study attempted to analyze the information services on the Larchiveum website in detail. To this end, the researchers developed a web information service evaluation index reflecting the characteristics of Larchiveum that are differentiated from information services offered by websites of general archives, libraries, and museums. Recognizing the importance of evaluation indicators, the researchers developed evaluation indicators, and an evaluation of the three institutions' websites was conducted. The assessment showed that the currently operating Larchiveum website provides ample basic business introduction and interface navigation, but the use of search results in the information search area was insufficient. Complementary points were presented in these areas, and measures that would be effective if additionally operated were also suggested. This research sought to provide practical assistance in configuring and providing web services for the newly established Larchiveum in hopes that the evaluation indicators used in this study will be applied, supplemented, and utilized well in the future.

영국은 현재 유럽에서 전자상거래가 가장 활발한 국가이다. 본 연구는 영국의 전자상거래에 대한 현황과 특성을 살펴보고, 주요 B2C 전자상거래 사이트의 특성을 분석해 보았다. 현재 영국의 전자상거래웹사이트들은 자사의 웹사이트의 성격과 부합하는 서비스를 제공하려는 시도를 하고 있으며 취급하는 제품에 따라 사이트의 분위기와 서비스가 차별적임을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 실제 영국의 전자상거래 사이트를 분석함으로써 영국 전자상거래의 특성과 파악하고, 영국에 진출하고자 하는 전자상거래 업체에 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

Children seem to be more familiar with getting information from computer and internet than adults, and also it is true that information behavior in the internet has strong influences in the living of the children. When considering this fact, the public library which is the gateway to knowledge should provide a website for children services, allowing to do their life-long learning, read books and access information, without any restrains from time and space. The purpose of this study is to show the importance of public library website, especially for the children, and also to analyze trend of the country and present the solution to the problems. To achieve these goal, the analysis on the websites of the public libraries in Dagu and Gyengbuk area has been conducted. In detail, these were conducted about following criterions: existence of the website, structural system, search service, and contents.

인터넷(internet)에서 웹 브라우징(web browsing)을 통한 정보검색은 일반적인 주제에 대한 텍스트 또는 이미지 정보를 획득하는데 유용하지만, 각 사용자가 자신이 해소하고자 하는 특정의 궁금한 사항과 관련하여 자신의 구체적 특수성에 적합한 정보를 획득하기는 어려운 경우가 많다. 이와 같은 개인적 궁금증을 해소시켜 줄 수 있는 방안으로 많은 인터넷 이용자들이 웹사이트에서 제공하는 게시판을 이용하지만, 각 사이트마다 특화된 주제만을 다루고 있기 때문에 다른 주제에 대한 애로를 가진 사용자는 적절한 게시판을 운영하는 웹사이트를 탐색해야만 하는 어려움이 있다. 본 연구는 웹사이트에서 서비스하는 게시판간 상호 연계를 통해 애로문의의 종합처리가 가능하도록 중앙 호스트 사이트에 질문을 집중시키고 또한 이렇게 집중된 질문을 다시 처리가 가능한 사이트로 집중된 질문을 배분하여 보다 정확하고 신속하게 처리할 수 있도록 하는 모델을 제시한다.
