A Study on a Model Development of web Site Evaluation in Digital Library Using AHP Technique (전자도서관 웹사이트 평가 모델 개발을 위한 AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process)기법 활용에 관한 연구)

  • Much investment has been to improve quality of web service as internet service is in pursuit of equilibrium. Web site of electronic library which offers various information has to be set a new standard for improving users service satisfaction by developing objsctive evaluation system. In this research we acquired standard of evaluation parameter such as contents, design, navigation, feedback, reference, privacy by analyzing domestic web site of electronic library We evaluated constructed model of usability evaluation using AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). We develop 'digital library web site evaluation model' based systematic analysis through polling category selected as evaluation guide.

The Case Study of the Content of Comics Museum Websites: Comparative Analysis on "Korea Manhwa Museum" and "Kyoto International Manga Museum" (만화콘텐츠 웹사이트의 콘텐츠 구성에 관한 사례연구: 한·일 만화박물관 사이트 비교분석)

  • This research explores websites of comics museum provided by the Korean Manhwa Museum and the Kyoto International Manga Museum and is supposed to analyze the type of content and finding out features. Since both museums specialize in comics and provide diverse information related to comics and their museums, this research analyze them on the basis of three types of categories, which are public relations content, professional content, and exhibition/education content The result shows that both museums generally provide similar type of information and content even though there are small differences. Especially, they have common points in the way that both offer detailed information of museum facilities and about exhibition schedules and education programs. However, the goal they are aiming at shows a difference. Korea Manhwa Museum tries to have interactive communication with its site visitors using the bulletin board system and to update newly published comics and events frequently managing separate websites. Kyoto International Manga Museum seems to focus on promoting itself in order to have more museum visitors. It provides detailed information such as history of the museum building, the object of setting up the museum and so on. Also, it provides four different foreign language websites.

  • 웹기반 경매사이트는 전자상거래시장을 대표할 만한 높은 수익성을 올리고있는 인터넷비지니스 수익모델이라고 할 수 있다. 현재 온라인경매를 사용하는 소비자는 경매사이트에서 제공하는 풍부한 정보의 양에 의존하여 전자상거래를 접하고 있다. 기존연구는 온라인 경매사이트의 제공자는 소비자의 입찰에 대한 태도와 참여 의도을 유인하기 위하여 온라인 경매 모델의 형태와 정보의 질에 집중하였던 것을 언급하고 있다. 온라인경매는 웹 인터페이스(Web Interface)를 활용하는 특징을 보유하고 있다. 그러므로, 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인요인은 온라인경매에서 매출액 신장과 입찰에 대한 태도와 입찰 참여 의도를 유인하기 위한 중요한 요소라고 할 수 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 온라인 경매사이트의 매출액 증진을 위하여, 온라인경매에서 입찰 참여 의도와 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인 요인간의 관계 연구는 수행되지 않았다. 본 연구의 목적은 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인 요인과 소비자의 입찰 참여 의도간의 관계에 관한 연구이다. 특히, 아르헨티나를 사례연구로 실증분석을 수행하였다. 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인 요인은 (1)사이트 구조측면과 (2)정보의 디자인 측면 그리고, (3)정보의 내용측면을 추출하였다. 웹기반 경매사이트의 디자인요인과 소비자의 선호도 변수들과의 비교분석이 이루어진다. 소비자 선호도 변수는 (1)웹디자인의 유용성 인지도와 (2)정보의 유용성 인지도 그리고, (3)웹사이트의 용이성 인지도가 사용되었다. 본 연구의 분석결과에 의하면, 웹기반 경매사이트의 3가지 디자인요인에 해당하는 사이트의 구조측면과 정보의 디자인측면 그리고, 정보의 내용 측면은 모두 소비자의 입찰에 대한 태도와 입찰 참여 의도에 긍정적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고, 소비자의 특성에 따른 차이점이 입찰 참여 의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 결과로 제공하고 있다.

  • 컴퓨터나 모바일 기기 사용자들이 필요한 자료나 정보 등을 검색하거나 콘텐츠가 있는 웹사이트를 찾는 경우, 흔히 사용하는 검색만으로는 어려움을 겪을 때가 존재한다. 이에 본 논문은 이러한 불편함을 최소화하기 위해 스마트폰 이용자가 원하는 콘텐츠를 찾고자 하는 경우, 분야별로 중요한 사이트들을 모아 해당 콘텐츠가 있는 사이트를 리스트로 제공해주는 어플리케이션을 개발하였다. 이는 사용자들에게 원하는 콘텐츠가 있는 사이트를 좀 더 쉽게 찾을 수 있도록 편리성을 줄 것이라 기대한다.

This paper suggests electronic commerce system using intelligent multi agent based on Case base and Log analysis. This system can provide suitable information to customers by using knowledge and traffic and system information analysis.

  • This study examines the communication status and strategies of geological resource related companies in Korea through the comparison with American companies. Through this analysis, this study is to draw the domestic companies' characteristics and problems on communication, and even to suggest how to execute the communication about geo-technologies at national level. The results indicate that geo-technologies related compaies in Korea don't use a lot of advertising communication as means of providing informations about corporate itself, corporate activities, and it's product, etc. And the companies using advertising communication tend to execute more organization advertising focusing on corporate image than product advertising. The advertising utilized by geological resource related companies is usually targeted at consumers, they don't use advertising endorser actively. And all the companies analyzed in this study have their own website and run it. This study provides some recommendations on communication strategies and executions for various geo-technologies related organizations. An Analysis of Web Services in the Legal Works of the Metropolitan Representative Library (광역대표도서관 법정업무의 웹서비스 분석)

  • Article 22(1) of the Library Act, which was completely revised in December 2006, stipulated that regional representative libraries are statutory organizations, and Article 25(1) of the Library Act, which was revised again in late 2021, renamed them as metropolitan representative libraries and expanded their duties. The reason why cities and provinces are required to specify or establish and operate metropolitan representative libraries is that in addition to their role as public libraries for public information use, cultural activities, and lifelong learning as stipulated in Article 23 of the Act, they are also responsible for the legal works of metropolitan representative libraries as stipulated in Article 26, and lead the development of libraries and knowledge culture by serving as policy libraries, comprehensive knowledge information centers, support and cooperation centers, research centers, and joint preservation libraries for all public libraries in the city or province. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze and diagnose whether the metropolitan representative library has been faithfully fulfilling its legal works for the past 15 years(2009-2023), and whether it is properly providing the results of its statutory planning and implementation on its website to meet the digital and mobile era. Therefore, this study investigated and analyzed the performance of the metropolitan representative library for the last two years based on the current statutory tasks and evaluated the extent to which it provides them through its website, and suggested complementary measures to strengthen its web services. As a result, it was analyzed that the web services for legal works that the metropolitan representative library should perform are quite insufficient and inadequate, so it suggested complementary measures such as building a website for legal works on the homepage, enhancing accessibility and visibility through providing an independent website, providing various policy information and web services (portal search, inter-library loan, one-to-one consultation, joint DB construction, data transfer and preservation, etc.), and ensuring digital accessibility of knowledge information for the vulnerable.

Using RSS for Library Information Services : The Case of France (도서관 정보서비스 향상을 위한 기술의 RSS 응용 : 프랑스 사례를 중심으로)

  • The new technology, RSS(Really Simple Syndication), allows people to send and receive a lot of up-to-date information by constant monitoring websites and databases for new information, without having to visit the site or database. The "gatekeeping" task for capturing and delivering various information influx via new digital channels as speedy as possible, is being discussed as a new form of service in the field of information service system nowadays. Given this situation, the RSS tool can be greatly useful in the gatekeeping task. This paper, by analyzing concrete cases in which RSS is actually employed in libraries and also newly applied to other diverse information services in France, expects to provide insightful ideas for developing innovative information services in other countries.

Analysis of Users' Inflow Route and Search Terms of the Korea National Archives' Web Site (국가기록원 웹사이트 유입경로와 이용자 검색어 분석)

  • As the users' information use environment changes to the Web, the archives are providing more services on the Web than before. This study analyzes the users' recent inflow route and the highly ranked 100 search terms of each month for 10 and half years in the Web site of National Archives of Korea, and suggests suitable information services. As a result of the analysis, it was found out that the inflow route could be divided into access from portal site, by country, from related institutions, and via mobile platform. As a result of analyzing the search terms of users for the last 10 and half years, the most frequently searched term turned out to be 'Land Survey Register', which was also the search term that was searched for with steady interests for 10 and half years. Also, other government documents or official gazettes were of great interests to users. As results of identifying the most frequently searched and steadily searched terms, we were able to categorize the search terms largely in terms of land, Japanese colonial period, the Korean war and relationship of North Korea and South Korea, and records management and use. Based on the results of the analysis, we suggested strengthening connection of the National Archives Web site with portal sites and mobile, and upgrading and improving search services of the National Archives. This study confirmed that the analysis of Web log and user search terms would yield meaningful results that could enhance the user services in archives.

A Study on the User Participatory Communication Tools of National Archives Websites (국가 기록관 웹사이트에 나타난 이용자 참여 커뮤니케이션 도구에 관한 연구)

  • In light of the recent advancement in networking and information technology, the direct information request through website has increasingly proven to be the preferred means over visiting physical archives. Thus, the proper utilization of a communication tool capable of sufficiently capturing user feedback and requests is an absolute necessity. This paper examines the availability and utilization of alternative user participatory communication tools in government websites with particular focus on the archives in South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, China, and Japan. In assessing the use of alternative user participatory communication tools in these archives, we examined the availability of communication mediums other than the online forums, email, and telephone with particular focus on social media tools that may offer a degree of familiarity for the user. Our research indicates that the most frequently utilized social media tool is Facebook while the archive offering the greatest variety of alternative user participatory communication tools was the United States archive.
