In this study, we examine the AI ethics perception of university students to explore the direction of AI ethics education. For this, 83 students wrote their thoughts about 5 discussion topics on online bulletin board. We analyzed it using language networks, one of the text mining techniques. As a result, 62.5% of students spoke the future of the AI society positively. Second, if there is a self-driving car accident, 39.2% of students thought it is the vehicle owner's responsibility at the current level of autonomous driving. Third, invasion of privacy, abuse of technology, and unbalanced information acquisition were cited as dysfunctions of the development of AI. It was mentioned that ethical education for both AI users and developers is required as a way to minimize malfunctions, and institutional preparations should be carried out in parallel. Fourth, only 19.2% of students showed a positive opinion about a society where face recognition technology is universal. Finally, there was a common opinion that when collecting data including personal information, only the part with the consent should be used. Regarding the use of AI without moral standards, they emphasized the ethical literacy of both users and developers. This study is meaningful in that it provides information necessary to design the contents of artificial intelligence ethics education in liberal arts education.

In this study, we compared the use of information and communications technology (ICT) by middle school teachers in Korea and other countries utilizing the teacher survey data of the IEA International Computer and Information Literacy Study (ICILS) 2013. The ICILS target population consisted of all students in the eighth grade. We compared Korea with Australia, the Czech Republic, Norway, and Poland, which are nations showing the highest achievements in computer and information literacy. We selected nine questions from the teacher questionnaire and divided them into the categories of computer use, use of ICT for teaching and learning, and the ICT support environment in school. In comparison to their counterparts in other countries, Korean middle school science teachers used computers frequently and also had high ICT self-efficacy. They were confident in their ability to use computers for general tasks, but not in their ability to use computers for teaching and learning. The Korean teachers also had a high percentage of utilization of presentation and graphics software. Also, the proportion of activities concerning the information provided and teacher-led tasks was high, but the proportion of activities for student collaboration or peer interaction was low. In Korea, middle school science teachers had more negative than positive views of using ICT in teaching and learning. The teachers thought that computer-related resource support and digital learning materials were insufficient and that the computer model was outdated in schools. Therefore, we propose to build an ICT infrastructure and to develop and disseminate ICT teaching and learning methods for student activities.
This study attempts to construct and manage the distance learning system by focusing on education institutins. However, they lack not only web-based courseware for information literacy but also the contents for the management technology. This study tried to design and implement the web-based courseware by using OCP(Oracle Certified Profession) based on the initial Oracle in distance learning. Learners' individual variations were considered based on problem solving learning. Also, the practical contents that could be applied in the educational field were selected. The learning type web-based courseware, using the technology of ASP, DHTML, JAVAscript, VBA, was designed and implemented into the framework that could be updated easily. The result of the study shows: first of all, this courseware induced a greater understanding of the Oracle language and the student's interests. Secondly, the student's had more control over the process of individual learning and achieved the goal more effectively through immediate feedback, finally, the students could learn wherever they have on-line connections to the web server.
Since 2015, the government has been striving to strengthen the software capabilities required for future talent through software-oriented university in Korea. In the university selected as a software-oriented university, basic software education is given to all departments such as humanities, social science, engineering, natural science, arts and the sports within the university in order to foster convergent human resources with different knowledge and software literacy. In this paper, we analyze the contents of basic software education for twenty universities selected as software-oriented universities. As a result of analysis, most of the basic software education which is carried out to the students of the non-majors students was aimed at improvement of problem solving ability centered on computational thinking for future society and improvement of convergence ability based on computer science. It uses block-based educational programming language and text-based advanced programming language to adjust the difficulty of programming contents and contents reflecting characteristics of each major. Problem-based learning, project-based learning, and discussion method were used as the teaching and learning methods for problem solving. In the future, this paper will help to establish the systematic direction for basic software education of non-majors students.
In today's digital information society, student knowledge and skills to analyze big data and make informed decisions have become an important goal of school mathematics. Integrating big data statistical projects with digital technologies in high school <Artificial Intelligence> mathematics courses has the potential to provide students with a learning experience of high impact that can develop these essential skills. This paper proposes a set of guidelines for designing effective big data statistical project-based tasks and evaluates the tasks in the artificial intelligence mathematics textbook against these criteria. The proposed guidelines recommend that projects should: (1) align knowledge and skills with the national school mathematics curriculum; (2) use preprocessed massive datasets; (3) employ data scientists' problem-solving methods; (4) encourage decision-making; (5) leverage technological tools; and (6) promote collaborative learning. The findings indicate that few textbooks fully align with these guidelines, with most failing to incorporate elements corresponding to Guideline 2 in their project tasks. In addition, most tasks in the textbooks overlook or omit data preprocessing, either by using smaller datasets or by using big data without any form of preprocessing. This can potentially result in misconceptions among students regarding the nature of big data. Furthermore, this paper discusses the relevant mathematical knowledge and skills necessary for artificial intelligence, as well as the potential benefits and pedagogical considerations associated with integrating technology into big data tasks. This research sheds light on teaching mathematical concepts with machine learning algorithms and the effective use of technology tools in big data education.

In this paper, in order to offer the opportunity to indirectly experience STEAM education and the profession of a quantum computer professional, one of computer experts as a promising occupation of the future, its correlation to the national curriculum was analyzed. STEAM educational program in this paper was developed through which the third or fourth graders in elementary schools can learn about a quantum computer expert and think about it in relevance to their future careers. Yet, it's almost impossible for the students to understand the basic theories of quantum computer based on quantum mechanics, one of most difficult areas of physics. Accordingly, in this proposed textbook, gamification mechanism was applied to arouse students' interest. Moreover, the textbook was developed and applied to the field directly in the way that students would be able to indirectly experience quantum spin, one of most basic principles of quantum computer, quantum cryptography related to quantum computer, incomplete quantum computer and etc. The STEAM educational program for future careers offered in this research is expected to create positive effects for students to explore careers relevant to IT, and to develop related qualities.

The purpose of this study was to develop practical problem-based home economics teaching.learning process plans about a unit 'the youth and consumer life' of middle school eighth-grade Technology and Home Economics by applying blended learning(BL) strategy. According to ADDIE instructional design model, this study was conducted in the following procedure: analysis, design/development, implementation, and evaluation. In the stage of design and development, the selected unit was converted into a practical problem-based unit, and practical problem-based teaching. learning process plans were designed in detail by using BL strategy. An online study room for practical problem-based home economics instruction grounded in BL strategy was prepared by using Edunet(http://community.edunet4u.net/${\sim}$consumer2). Eight-session lesson plans were mapped out, and study aids for students and materials for teachers were prepared. In the implementation stage, the first-session teaching plans that dealt with a minor question 'what preparations should be made to become a wise consumer' were utilized when instruction was provided to 115 eighth graders who were in three different province, and the other one was in a middle school in the city of Daejeon. The experimental teaching was implemented for two weeks in the following procedure: preliminary program, pre-online learning, main instruction and post- online learning. The preliminary program was carried out in a session in the classroom, and pre-online learning was provided before the main instruction was given in a session in the classroom. After the main instruction was completed, post-online learning was offered. In the evaluation stage, a survey was conducted on all the learners and teachers to find out their opinions and suggestions.
The purpose of this study is to provide the information of decision making that can be used to improve curriculum of engineering education by surveying and analyzing that educational needs of ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ university' engineering students about program outcomes. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, it was found that engineering students surveyed valued much of the necessity of PO2(analysis experiment), PO3(design capability), PO6(teamwork) among program outcomes. In addition, it was found that engineering students surveyed thought their ability was low in PO3(design capability), PO4(problem solving), PO10 (knowledge of current events). Second, it was found that the order of educational needs about program outcomes was PO3(design capability), PO2(analysis experiment), PO1(knowledge application), PO5(practical ability), PO4(problem solving) which suggested that engineering students surveyed had high educational needs for engineering program outcomes. On the other hand, it was found that engineering students surveyed showed lower awareness of PO7, PO10, PO11 which had characteristics of humanities. It is necessary that systematic establishment of course completion system in basic design, element design and comprehensive design by giving weight to design education that aims to strengthen design capability should be made in curriculum of engineering education. It was found that there was considerable difference in educational needs about program outcomes especially in PO1(analysis experiment), PO4(problem solving), PO5(practical ability), PO6(teamwork) according to grade, gender and specialty and therefore this should be considered in designing curriculum. It is judged that operation of flexible education program should be arranged if learning achievement through regular curriculum Is limited.
Since 2003, Korean government went thru biggest and the most significant 'innovation' communicating the government itself as well as its policies. Following Jo's research design conducted in 2003 (published in 2004), this study adopted a longitudinal design to see how Korean government agencies have been changed by the president 'Noh' administration. The concept, 'encroachment' has been utilized to measure professional level of public relations departments of Korean government agencies. 'Encroachment' occurs when a communication department is managed by a person without proper experience or education/training in the field of public relations. After interviewing public relations managers (19 from central agencies, 16 from local government), encroachment has been found to be 'almost not changed' while, opportunities for professional 'on the job' training increased to a certain level.

Congruence of figure is a basic to learn a symmetrical figure and helps to understand the characteristics of figure and know the way of drawing figures. The knowledge of congruence provides us art attainments to understand design and fine pieces of art. However, it is difficult to expect the interaction between students or between teachers and students, because of spending too much time for cutting papers and making the shapes of figure during the class for establishing the concepts. This study utilized a question-based interaction model which would foster elementary school student's learning effectiveness and make them understood the concept of congruence, also developed a congruence learning system which could communicate in both synchronous and asynchronous situation.
