The purpose of this study is to find the empirical relationship among information system quality, users' satisfaction and business productivities in hotel industry. This study set out the research model of influencing factors and the performance of the hotel information system. The respondents included 140 volunteers who were worked at hotel in Busan. The result of empirical study revealed that the system quality is major determinant to influence on the users' satisfaction and business productivities of hotel information system.

As demands of intelligent urban geospatial information services are increasing in u-Cities, development and use of service standards for the cities are required to make the services interoperable. Conformance tests can be conducted for the standards to implement the services more interoperably and consistently. To improve the interoperability between services, it is necessary to build an evaluation model for services in a perspective of conformance tests. In the context, this study reviews the related references and establishes a conceptual model of the conformance tests for the services and provides an application of the model to a monitoring service for flowing water quantity to prove its usefulness.

This study is an attempt to re-examination of information value and it´s economic efficiency from the viewpoint of information science. This study focuses on the analysis of the considerable discussions about added value of information and cost-benefit analysis of information. This study shows that the researches of information value or value-added information have dealt with the effect of information use and the measuring information efficiency concerns cost-benefit analysis of information services. A case study on ‘the national digital library program’ is also demonstrated as a pilot model for the cost-benefit analysis of information services.

학술연구정보 서비스는 연구자의 연구 개발 과정에서 필수적으로 활용해야 하는 서비스이다. 그렇지만, 그 중요성에 비해 아직까지 학술연구정보 서비스에 대한 심도 깊은 사용성 평가가 제대로 이루어지고 있지 않다. 본 연구는 OntoFrame이라는 시맨틱 웹 기술 기반 학술연구정보 서비스 구현 과정에서 반복적인 사용성 평가를 수행함으로써 어떻게 서비스가 효용성과 사용성을 갖추어가는 지를 실증함으로써 사용성 평가의 중요성을 강조하고자 한다. 특히, 사용성 평가 목표에 따라 서비스 시안(Mock-up)을 대상으로 실시한 사용자 인터뷰 중심의 1차 사용성 평가와 서비스 프로토타입을 대상으로 실시한 학술연구 정보 서비스간 비교 평가 중심의 2차 사용성 평가를 상이하게 구성함으로써 사용성 관련 문제를 다양한 관점에서 도출할 수 있었다. 사용성 평가는 매 구현 단계마다 반복적으로 실시함으로써 본 학술연구정보 서비스의 사용성을 지속적으로 향상시킬 계획이다.

The purposes of this study are research for user's perspective and satisfaction, and analyze degree of difference in user's perspective and satisfaction through electronic library system of National Assembly Library. According to analysis of questionnaire, score of the factors that quantity of information, latest of information, quality of information, system of classification, accuracy of information are higher than average in user's perspective. Also score of the factors that speed of response, quality of information, consistency of information, consistency of retrieval, quantity of information, accuracy of information are higher than average in user's satisfaction. Result of analysis show that latest of information, quantity of information, variety of information, system of classification, accuracy of information are higher gap in user's perspective and satisfaction.

국방부는 90년대 후반부터 국방정보체계 구축사업을 본격적으로 추진하면서 정보체계의 상호운용성 문제를 심각하게 인식하고 상호운용성 및 표준화 관리 지침 제정, 획득관리규정 갱신 등 국방정보체계 상호운용성 보장을 위한 제도적 발전을 도모하고 있다. 하지만 상호운용성 보장을 위한 정책 및 지침에 있어 미군의 경우 정보기술구조 개념을 기반으로 상호운용성 보장을 위한 일련의 절차가 제시되어있는 반면, 우리 군의 경우 정보기술구조에 대한 정확한 이해의 부족으로 정보기술구조의 시작점이라 할 수 있는 전사적 관점에서 상호운용성을 위한 노력은 미비한 상태에서 공통운용환경, 데이터 공유 등 체계적 관점에서의 상호운용성만을 강조함에 따라 상호운용성관련 정책 및 지침의 절차가 일관성이 결여되고 명확하지 못하며, 이해 및 적용 또한 어려운 실정이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 우리 군의 정보화에 있어 가장 시급한 문제라 할 수 있는 국방정보체계의 상호운용성과 관련된 정책에 대하여 현재 우리 군의 문제점을 파악하고 이를 개선할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다.

본 연구는 여러 정보환경 또는 정보 디자인 유형 중에서 짧은 정보 노출 시간에 비해 정보 전달력이 강해야 하는 정보유형의 인지력을 높이는 방법을 모색하기 위해 진행되었다. 이와 같은 정보를 본 연구에서는 '고기능성 정보(High-Functional Information)'라고 정의하고, 연구를 위해 7개 항공기에서 사용되고 있는 Safety Information을 중심으로, 고기능성 정보의 주요 속성과 그에 따른 거시적 정보 표현 방법에 대해서 연구하였다. 본 연구는 상황, 순서, 흐름, 구조 표현으로서의 정보디자인인 Safety Information을 기능변수에 대한 활용이 중요한 '고기능성 정보'라고 정의하고, 이에 대한 주요 정보 속성을 Accessibility, Errorless, Understandable, Timeliness로 제시하였다. 고기능성 정보는 맥락에 따라, 시각적 재현 측면에서 Understandable, Accessibility 속성이 충족되어야 하며, 사용자 조작 측면에서는 Errorless, Timeliness 속성이 충족되어야 한다. 각 측면에서의 거시적 표현 방법으로써, 시각적 재현 측면에서 독특 속성을 기반으로 한 속성이론, 도상화를 통한 "현실감지" 최대화, 정보 주도성(Proactivity), 잉여정보와 노이즈 정보의 최소화를 제시하였으며, 사용자 조작측면에서 맥락효과, 일차적 독특성을 중심으로 한 기억부호화, 이중부호화 및 표현 방법 등을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서의 개괄적인 연구 내용을 토대로 앞으로 정보환경 또는 디자인 유형과 속성에 따른 정보 표현방법에 관한 연구가 추진될 예정이다.

최근 들어 상호운용성에 관한 각계의 관심과 요구가 증대되고 있다. 상호운용성시험은 정보통신 및 정보기술 분야에서 그 중요성이 더욱 부각되고 초고속망 및 정보흐름과 연계되어 긴급히 요구되는 정보화사회의 기반기술이다. 현재의 상호운용성시험의 운용형태는 구현물에 대한 특정 환경을 구축하고 이들간에 제한된 몇 개의 시험 캠페인을 구성한 후 제한적으로 선정된 시험목적에 따라 시험을 수행하는 형태이다. 본고에서는 현재의 상호운용성시험의 형태를 살펴보고 체계적인 상호운용성시험을 위한 구조를 제시하며 국제적으로는 상호운용성시험을 위하여 어떠한 활동을 전개하고 있는가를 ITU 활동 중심으로 분석한다.

PKI 정보보호 제품의 개발에 있어서 반드시 고려해야 하는 요소 가운데 하나는 PKI 정보보호 제품이 안전성, 신뢰 성 등의 요구조건을 만족하며, 확장성 및 상호연동성을 갖도록 개발되었는지 확인하는 것이다. 만약 이와 같은 사항들 이 만족되지 못한다면, 사용자는 PKI 정보보호 제품의 안전성 및 신뢰성을 의심할 수밖에 없다. 또한 다른 PKI 제품 들과의 연동에 있어서 문제를 일으킬 수밖에 없으며, 이는 결과적으로 사용자에게 불이익을 가져다 주게 된다. 이러한 문제를 방지하기 위해서는 개발 단계에서부터 X.509 등 관련된 기술 표준을 정확하게 준수하여야 한다. 또한 표준 적 합성 확인을 위해서 PKI 정보보호 제품이 표준에 따라 적합하게 구현되었는지 검증하는 절차가 필요하다. 즉, PKI 정 보보호 제품의 표준 적합성 여부에 대한 검증을 전문적으로 수행할 수 있는 시험도구의 개발이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 PKI 정보보호 제품의 표준 적합성 여부를 판단할 수 있는 시험 절차를 제시하고, 이에 따라 PKI 정 보보호 제품에 대한 검증을 수행할 수 있는 시험도구를 구현하였다. 즉, PKI 정보보호 제품이 인증 서비스 제공을 위 해 사용하는 X.509 등 인증 관련 기술이 표준을 준수하고, 이를 통해 PKI 제품 간의 상호운용성을 지원할 수 있는지 여부를 검증하려는 것이다.

정보 보호의 목표는 정보자산의 기밀성, 무결성, 가용성을 보장함으로써 정보시스템의 신뢰성과 안전성을 확보하고 이를 통하여 기관이나 조직에서 추구하는 사업에 대한 영속성 보장의 기반을 제공하는 것이다. 접근 제어는 정보 보호의 목표인 기밀성, 무결성을 하기 위한 수단으로 많이 사용된다. 즉, 인가받지 않은 주체에게는 접근을 허용하지 않고, 인가된 주체에 대해서는 신뢰성 있는 정보를 제공하기 위해 정보에 대한 접근 제어를 한다. 그러나 가용성 측면을 무시하고 기밀성과 무결성만을 지나치게 강조할 경우 사용자에게 제공되는 정보는 이미 과거의 정보가 되어 아무런 가치가 없을 수도 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 정보 보호의 3대 목표를 모두 만족하는 접근제어 시스템을 구축하는데 있어서 바람직한 방향을 제시하고자 한다.
