  • 오늘날 의료 사고 방지를 대책으로 RFID/NFC 와 같은 근접 무선 통신 기술을 적용의 사례가 많아 지고 있는 가운데 현재 RF 스마트 카드를 이용한 환자 인증 시스템 도입으로 인해 의료 정보의 정확성과 효율성을 높여 주고 있다. 하지만, RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification)의 기술적 보안 취약점이 발견됨에 따라 이에 대안으로 본 논문에서는 보안성이 뛰어난 NFC(Near Field Communication) 기반 환자 인증 시스템을 제안하고자 한다.

  • 통계학의 수리론을 전개한 우리의 저서가 별로 없는 터에 윤기중교수의 '수리통계학'이 박영사를 통하여 간행되었다. 이책은 미적분에 관한 수학지식으로 능히 독파할 수 있도록 순차적으로 차분하게 기술되어 있다. 집합론의 개념에서부터 시작하여 확률론의 기초사항을 친절하게 설명하고 연속확률변수의 분포, 확률표본, 점추정, 다변량정규분포, 각종 통계량의 분포, 통계적 가설검정, 구간추정, 그리고 끝으로 회귀와 상관분석에 이르기까지 각종항목에 걸쳐서 통계학이론이 빠짐없이 기술되어 있다.

AROC Curve and Optimal Threshold (AROC 곡선과 최적분류점)

  • In the credit evaluation study with the assumption of mixture distributions, the ROC curve is a useful method to explore the discriminatory power of default and non-default borrowers. The AROC curve is an adjusted ROC curve that can be identified with the corresponding score and is mathematically analyzed in this work. We obtain patterns of this curve by applying normal distributions. Moreover, the relationship between the AROC curve and many classification accuracy statistics are explored to find the optimal threshold. In the case of equivalent variances of two distributions, we obtain that the local minimum of the AROC curve is estimated at the optimal threshold to maximize certain classification accuracies.

  • In image processing we encounter some tasks to detect ellipse or to discriminate the curves. LSM is well used to fit curves to ellipse but it can fail to fit correctly when fitting to defected one. To overcome this problem, we propose Modified LSM. Only 2-parameters among 5-paramaters are to be determined by LSM, while 3-parameters are to be calculated by the constrain that the curve must pass 3 given points. Those 3 points are selected by operator so as to have elliptic feature. Such proposed MLSM shows better result than genunal LSM in case when the ellipse is severely defected. and is proved to be good method for determing the human dentition.

  • SSI(Surface/Surface Intersection)is a fundamental geometric operation which is used in solid and geometric modeling to support trimmed surface and Boolean operations. In this paper, we suggest a new algorithm for tracing along the intersection curve of two regular surfaces. Thus, in this paper, we present a simplicity of computing and second degree continunity. Given a point of intersection curve, it is traced to entire curve of a intersection curve as the initial point of its and the initial point of each of a intersection curve is detected to DFS(Depth First Search) method in the Quadtree and is naturally presented a continuous form.

  • In this paper, we suggest a system of detecting a vehicle with lane violation, which can detect the vehicle with lane violation, by using the feature point tracking. The whole algorithm in the suggested system of detecting a vehicle with lane violation is composed of three stages such as feature extraction, register and tracking in feature for the tracking-targeted vehicle, and detecting a vehicle with lane violation. In the stage of feature extraction, the feature is extracted from the inputted image by sing the feature-extraction algorithm available for the real-time processing. The extracted features are again selected the racking-targeted feature. The registered feature is tracked by using NCC(normalized cross correlation). Finally, whether or not lane violation is finally detected by using information on the tracked features. As a result of experimenting the suggested system by using the acquired image in the section with a ban on intervention, the excellent performance was shown with 99.09% for positive recognition ratio and 0.9% for error ratio. The fast processing speed could be obtained in 34.48 frames per second available for real-time processing.

  • Spot welding is the primary method of joining sheet metals in the automotive industry. As automobiles are subjected to fatigue loading, some spot welds may fracture before the whole system has failed. This local fracture of spot welds may lead to change in the dynamic response and consequently affect fatigue behavior of an automobile. Therefore, this change in dynamic response should be taken into consideration to assess the fatigue life of structures subjected to spectrum loading, such as automobiles. In this study, vibration fatigue analysis was performed by taking into consideration the change in the dynamic response due to accumulated damage at spot-welded parts. Fatigue tests were carried out on tensile-shear spot-welded specimens under constant amplitude loading condition. And the fatigue life of spot welds under spectrum loading was predicted using vibration fatigue analysis method based on finite element analysis.

A Study on the Evaluation of the Different Thresholds for Detecting Urban Areas Using Remote-Sensing Index Images: A Case Study for Daegu, South Korea (원격탐사 지수 영상으로부터 도시 지역 탐지를 위한 임계점 평가에 관한 연구: 대구광역시를 사례로)

  • Mapping urban areas using the earth observation satellites is useful for monitoring urban expansions and measuring urban developments. In this research, the different thresholds for detecting the urban areas separately from the remote-sensing index images (normalized-difference built-up index(NDBI) and urban index(UI) images) generated from the Landsat-8 image acquired in Daegu, South Korea were evaluated through the following steps: (1) the NDBI and UI images were separately generated from the given Landsat-8 image; (2) the different thresholds (-0.4, -0.2, and 0) for detecting the urban areas separately from the NDBI and UI images were evaluated; and (3) the accuracy of each detected urban area was assessed. The experiment results showed that the threshold -0.2 had the best performance for detecting the urban areas from the NDBI image, while the threshold -0.4 had the best performance for detecting the urban areas from the UI image. Some misclassification errors, however, occurred in the areas where the bare soil areas were classified into urban areas or where the high-rise apartments were classified into other areas. In the future research, a robust methodology for detecting urban areas, including the various types of urban features, with less misclassification errors will be proposed using the satellite images. In addition, research on analyzing the pattern of urban expansion will be carried out using the urban areas detected from the multi-temporal satellite images.

  • 본 논문에서는 패턴 분석 기반의 비접촉 사용자 인터페이스 제어 기법을 제안한다. 본 기법은 카메라가 장착된 기기에서 입력 받은 실시간 영상을 사용하여 패턴의 정보를 분석한다. 정의된 패턴을 기반으로 최초의 패턴 위치를 예측하고, 특징점 추출 기반 추적 기법을 통해 패턴의 위치를 갱신한다. 휴대용 기기의 다양한 사용 환경에 적합하도록, 정규 상관 계수와 특징점 추출 정보를 사용하여 패턴의 예측, 추적을 수행함으로써 밝기 변화에 강인한 사용자 인터페이스 기법을 제안한다. 실험을 통하여 본 논문이 제안하는 알고리즘이 기존의 방법에 비해 우수한 성능을 나타냄을 확인한다.
