On the Loci of the Input Reflection Coefficient of a Loaded Transmission Line on the Smith Chart (부하가 있는 전송 선로의 입력 반사 게수의 스미스 차트 상에서의 쾌적)

  • We present the derivation of the loci of the reflection coefficient of a loaded transmission line on the Smith chart as the length of the transmission line is varied. The results show that the loci constitute a circle when the characteristic impedance of the transmission line differs from the normalizing one, whose center and radius are determined by the impedances of the load and the transmission line. The results can be used in the matching circuit design using microstriplines when line width and length should be compromised.

  • 계통의 전류 고조파는 전압 고조파에 의해 야기된다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 전압 고좌에 해당하는 임피던스를 설계함으로써 전류 고조파를 원하는 크기로 제안할 수 있다. 전압 고조파는 직류단 전압, Modulation index 등에 의해서 결정되며, 허용되는 전류 고조파의 크기는 해당 시스템의 용량과 주파수에 따라 달라진다. 본 논문은 더블 푸리에 변환을 통해 전압 고조파를 식으로 풀어 주파수와 변조지수에 따른 정규화 된 전압 고조파 표를 이용해, 임의의 시스템에 적용할 수 있는 L 필터 설계 절차를 제안한다.

  • 본 논문은 수치해석을 이용하여 와전류센서의 설계 및 특성을 고찰하였다. 와전류센서의 설계에 있어서 직경 및 폭을 변화시켰다. 와전류센서에 인가되는 주파수와 lift-off, 도전율의 변화에 대해 수치해석을 수행하였다. 수치해석을 통해 와전류센서의 임피던스값을 산출하고 정규화 임피던스도를 그려 와전류센서의 특성을 살펴 보았다. 수치해석결과, 와전류센서의 폭을 크게 하는 것 보다. 직경을 크게 하는 것이 감도가 좋은 특성을 나타냈다. lift-off효과는 와전류센서와 시험대상 사이의 거리가 작을수록 감도가 좋았다. 도전율 변화에 따른 특성은 도전율이 증가할수록 임피던스도의 반원의 궤적이 아래로 향하는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 와전류탐상(ECT) Transmit-Receive 프로브를 이용한 ECT 방법은 센서코일의 유도기전력의 변화를 관찰하여 피검사체의 결함이나 특성의 변화를 탐지해내는 방법이다. ECT T/R 프로브는 여러 개의 Pancake 코일로 구성되어있고, 각각의 코일은 Transmit 코일과 Receive 코일로 나뉜다. 본 논문은 실제 TH 프로브 제작에 앞서 동일한 특성을 갖는 와전류센서를 설계 및 제작하여 그 특성을 파악하였다. 와전류센서에 인가되는 시험주파수와 Lift-off의 변화에 대한 특성을 파악하고 와전류센서의 임피던스값을 산출하여 정규화 임피던스도를 그려 와전류센서의 특성을 살펴보았다.

  • In this paper, a friction compensation method using a disturbance observer is proposed for an impedance control of pneumatic manipulator. It is assumed that the generated torque by a pneumatic actuator can be estimated based on the pressure signals and the discharge volume. In order to improve the dynamic characteristics of the pneumatic actuator driven by meter out method, we construct the inner torque control system by feeding back the generated torque. In order to reduce the influence of disturbances comprising friction torque and parameter variations of plant, the impedance control system is constructed with a disturbance observer which estimates the disturbances based on the generated torque of pneumatic actuator, the angular velocity and the reaction torque. From some experiments, it is confirmed that the proposed control system is effective to improve the robustness for the friction torque in the impedance control of a pneumatic manipulator.

Sound Absorption Effects in a Rectangular Enclosure with the Foamed Aluminum Sheet Absorber (발포 알루미늄 흡음재를 이용한 단순 폐공간의 내부 음장 변화에 관한 연구)

  • For the purpose of finding out the sound field characteristics in a cavity of a rectangular enclosure with foamed aluminum lining, analytical and experimental studies are performed with random noise input. Experimental method using two-microphone impedance tube measures the absorption coefficients and the impedances of simple sound absorbing materials. Measured acoustical parameters of the test samples are applied to the theoretical analysis to predict sound pressure field in the cavity. The sound absorp- tion effects from measurements are compared to prediction in both cases with and without foamed aluminum lining in the cavity of the rectangular enclosure.

  • For the purpose of finding out the sound field characteristics in a rectangular cavity, analytical and experimental studies are performed with white noise input. Two-microphone impedance tube method is used to measure the impedances of foamed aluminum. Foamed aluminum is well known metallic porous material which has excellent properties of light weight and high absorbing performance. And predicted impedances of foamed aluminum are compared with measured impedances. The predicted acoustical parameters are applied to the theoretical analysis to predict sound pressure field in the cavity. The measured sound absorption effects are compared with the predicted values for both cases with and without foamed aluminum lining in the cavity of the rectangular enclosure.

A Study on the Efficient Extraction of Slot Admittance for the Design of a Non-Resonant Waveguide Edge Slot Array (비공진형 협벽 도파관 슬롯 배열 설계를 위한 효율적인 슬릇 어드미턴스 추출 방법에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, an analytic method is proposed to extract the reference slot admittance required for the design of a non-resonant waveguide edge slot array. A slot and two neighboring transmission line sections of the numerous alternately inclined slots with the identical inclination angle are modelled as a uniform lossy transmission line, and thus, the total ABCD matrix is easily calculated and compared with the simulated or measured one. From this procedure, the complex characteristic impedance and the complex propagation constant of the lossy transmission line are calculated and the normalized slot admittance is analytically obtained. In order to validate the proposed method, the admittance value of a reference slotted waveguide fabricated for designing the X-band edge slot array is extracted and it is compared with the one obtained by the other conventional method.
