Load analysis of an agricultural tractor during the harvesting operation (수확 작업 시 농업용 트랙터의 소요 동력 분석)

  • 본 연구는 수확 작업에 따른 농업용 트랙터의 차축 부하 분석을 목적으로 수행되었다. 트랙터의 부하 측정을 위한 부하 계측 시스템은 4개 차축의 토크 측정을 위한 휠 토크미터, 부하 데이터 수집을 위한 데이터 수집장치, 토크미터에 전원을 공급하기 위한 전원공급장치, 트랙터 배터리를 이용하여 노트북 및 전원공급장치에 전원을 공급하기 위한 인버터, 데이터 처리를 위한 노트북으로 구성하였다. 본 연구에서는 부하계측을 수행하기 위해 동양물산(주)의 60 마력급 트랙터 T623을 사용하였다. 부하 분석은 수확 작업에 따른 주행 단수 별 데이터를 이용하여 통계분석을 수행하였다. 수확 작업 시 L2단에서 좌측 전륜에서의 최대, 최소, 평균, 표준편차 토크는 각각 1735.44, 818.36, 1201.38, 175.53 Nm로 나타났으며, 우측 후륜에서는 3685.11, 1971.68, 2981.80, 258.36 Nm로 나타났다. L3단에서 좌측 전륜에서의 최대, 최소, 평균, 표준편차 토크는 각각 1580.94, 701.06, 1007.93, 125.11 Nm로 나타났으며, 우측 후륜에서는 3239.57, 1735.44, 2472.11, 307.85 Nm로 나타났다. 트랙터의 차축 부하는 L2단에서 L3단으로 작업속도가 증가함에 따라 좌측 전륜에서 약 0.83배, 우측 후륜에서 약 0.82배 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 향후에는 Romax_Designer (Version 17, Romax Technology, UK)을 사용하여 작업 부하에 따른 트랙터 트랜스미션 해석을 하여 트랙터 PTO 최적설계 가능성을 제시할 계획이다. 정격 출력 조건에서 시뮬레이션을 진행하여 트랙터 트랜스미션을 설계하면 안전성을 확보할 수 있지만 최적설계를 위해서는 실제 포장시험 데이터를 이용한 시뮬레이션이 필요하다고 판단된다.

  • Recently, electric propulsion systems are been increasingly used in large cruise ships and merchant vessels. When abnormal electrical conditions occur in the motor of an electric propulsion ship, they can cause serious damage to the motor and propeller shaft. Research on abnormal conditions of propulsion motors used in electric propulsion vessels and electric ships difficult to find. In this study, a mathematical model of the electric propulsion system is proposed to analyze transient phenomena that occur in the case of electric propulsion motor or propeller shaft malfunction. A synchronous motor was used in the MATLAB computer simulation of this study. In the event of electrical malfunction of the electric propulsion motor at rated operation, over current occurs in the condition of 1 phase ground, over torque occurs at 3 and 2 phases ground and over current and torque occur when exciting power fails at rated operation.

Design of Three-Axis Force/Torque Sensor for Rehabilitation Robot (재활로봇용 3축 힘/토크센서 설계)

  • In this study, we described the design of a three-axis force/torque sensor for measuring the force and torque in a lower-limb rehabilitation robot. The three-axis force/torque sensor is composed of Fx force sensor, Fz force sensor and Tz torque sensor. The sensing element for Fx force sensor and Tz torque sensor is used in a two-step parallel plate beam, and that of Fz force sensor is used in a parallel plate beam. The rated loads of Fx force sensor, Tz torque sensor and Fz force sensor are 300 N, 15 N m and 100 N, respectively. The three-axis force/torque sensor was designed using the finite element method, and manufactured using strain-gauges. The three-axis force sensor was further characterized. As a result, the interference error of the three-axis force/torque sensor was < 1.24%, the repeatability error of each sensor was < 0.03%, and the non-linearity was < 0.02%.

  • 우리는 이전 논문을 통해 Air blower용 모터에서 널리 사용되고 있는 단상 유도기를 기존의 분포 권선 방식에서 벗어나 집중 권선 방식을 사용하여 설계한 결과 생산 공정의 단계를 줄이고 많은 생산 비용을 줄일 수 있었다. 또한 집중 권선형에서 발생할 수 있는 고조파 문제를 로터의 skew와 overlap 권선 방식을 이용하여 해결 할 수 있음을 증명하였다. 그러나 이러한 이점에도 불구하고 시제품의 특성을 측정한 결과 집중 권선형 모터의 자계 불균형 때문에 기존 분포권 모터에 비해 소음과 진동 특성이 좋지 않은 결과를 보였다. 이에 본 논문에서는 소음과 진동 특성을 고려하여 기존의 기동 및 정격 토크 특성을 유지하면서 토크 리플을 저감할 수 있는 방법을 로터의 Skew 각도 영향, 권선 사양 및 스테이터 및 로터 형상 등을 고려하여 새롭게 설계하였고 그 결과를 제시하였다.

  • In this paper, speed control of IPMSM drives for the next generation domestic high speed railway system using NPC 3-level inverters is presented. The NPC multilevel inverter is suitable for the high-voltage and high-power motor drive system because it has advantages in that the voltage rating of the power semiconductor devices and output current harmonics are reduced. For the speed control of IPMSM using NPC 3-level inverters, maximum torque control is applied in the constant torque region, and filed weakening control is applied in the constant power region. Simulation programs based on MATLAB/Simulink are developed. Finally the designed system is verified and their characteristics are analyzed by the simulation results.

A Study for Predicting Rotational Cutting Torque from Electrical Energy Required for Ground Drilling (지반절삭 전기에너지를 활용한 회전굴착토크 예측에 관한 연구)

  • This study proposes a method to estimate drilling torque during ground boring with an aid of electrical energy required for rotating a boring-auger. Ground boring is commonly used in geotechnical engineering such as preboring precast pile installation, soil-cement grouting, ground exploration and so forth. In order to understand the correlation between required electrical energy to rotate the boring auger and the drilling torque, a small laboratory apparatus was designed and a pilot study was performed. The apparatus rotates common drill bits of $D=5{\sim}25mm$ in CBR specimens. The velocity of a bit is 19 RPM and predefined using a reduction gear which connects a main rotation axis to a 25 Watts AC electrical motor shaft. In the middle of drilling the motor current increments and the drilling torque were measured and the correlation between the current and the torque was obtained through linear square fits. Based on the correlation the acquired motor current during drilling was applied to predict the drilling torque in consequent testing and the prediction results were compared to the measured torque. The comparison leads a conclusion that the motor current during drilling using electrical power may be a good indicator to estimate/determine strength characteristics of the ground.

  • Interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM) has become a popular choice in electric vehicle applications, due to their excellent power to weight ratio. This paper proposes maximum torque control of IPMSM drive using adaptive learning fuzzy neural network and artificial neural network. This control method is applicable over the entire speed range which considered the limits of the inverter's current and voltage rated value. This paper proposes speed control of IPMSM using adaptive learning fuzzy neural network and estimation of speed using artificial neural network. The back propagation neural network technique is used to provide a real time adaptive estimation of the motor speed. The proposed control algorithm is applied to IPMSM drive system controlled adaptive learning fuzzy neural network and artificial neural network, the operating characteristics controlled by maximum torque control are examined in detail. Also, this paper proposes the analysis results to verify the effectiveness of the adaptive learning fuzzy neural network and artificial neural network.

  • Wide operating range and speed control is needed for wind power generating and a Doubly Fed Induction Generator(DFlG) has good adaptivity for that purpose. Ths paper investigates speed and output stator power control using a grid connected to a DFlG in super-synchronous speed regions, by control of both magnitude and frequency of the voltage fed to the rotor. For the speed control analysis, torque simulation is perforrred whereby the different slip between qJernting rmtor driving frequency and synchronous frequency of M-G system awlied. A Comparison Study on the Engine Performance Test Regulation of Two-wheeled Vehicles between EU and Korea (유럽과 한국의 이륜차 엔진 성능 시험 규정에 대한 비교 연구)

  • As a preliminary research to provide amendment for the engine performance test regulation of two-wheeled vehicles, the engine performance data are investigated in terms of maximum torque, rated power, and engine speed of motorcycles on sales in Korean market. Based on the engine performance database officially published to consumers, some forecasted problems are discussed when the maximum torque and the rated power are measured under the present test standards. EU and Korea regulations on engine performance test are carefully compared in terms of the accuracy of measurement devices, test procedures including data acquisition method, and allowable range of rated power measurement. Complementary items are discussed to eliminate ambiguities in the present regulation and to construct rational regulation system.

  • 본 연구는 여러 종류의 직류서보코너에서 적용목적에 대해 최상의 성능을 발휘하면서 가장 높은 효율을 갖는 서보모터를 선정하기 위한 인간 전문가의 지식, 경험과 추론 능력을 갖는 전문가 시스템 개발에 관한 것이다. 제안한 프로그램은 비전문가가 적용시스템의 성능조건과 기계적 데이터만을 입력함으로서 고효율 서보모터가 선정되도록 하였다. 전문가 시스템의 추론기관과 지식베이스는 C 언어로 구현하였으며, 데이터베이스는 제조회사에서 제공한 직류서보모터의 카다로그로부터 구성하였다. 서로 다른 정격을 갖는 직류서보모터의 효율을 비교하는데 있어서는 속도-토크의 운전패턴에 따른 평균효율을 기준으로 하였다. 그리고, 서보모터 선정에 관한 수요관리의 전문가 시스템을 실제 사용되고 있는 여러 적용시스템에 대해 검증하여 신뢰성을 확인하였다.
