Trend Analysis on Professional Engineer Examination in Building Electrical Facility (건축전기설비기술사 시험 출제경향 분석 및 교과과정 반영에 대한 고찰)

  • Professional Engineers for Building Electrical Facility is required to have both theoretical background and field experiences as an expert for managing a building electrical facility. In order to cultivate many Professional Engineers with both theoretical and practical basis, it is necessary to analyze the past examinations and develop an efficient cultivating plan. In this work, we analyzed the tendency of past and recent 4 year's examinations and the relation of examinations to the university curriculum. We suggest some methods that supplement the gap between curriculums of universities and qualification tests. Also, this paper introduces some advanced education programs of the reeducation agencies for these areas.

The Effect of the Integration Methods of Gas Turbine and Air Separation Unit on IGCC Plant Performance (가스터빈과 산소분리공정의 연계 방법에 따른 IGCC 플랜트 성능영향 분석)

  • Integration methods of a Gas Turbine and a Air Separation Unit have a potential to improve plant performance and cost of IFCC. Several studies on those integrations schemes were carried out. Then some of the methods were accually in commercial plants. Thus paper reviewed the integration schemes of a Gas Turbine and a Air Separation Unit. In order to compare the plant performance of IGCC with each scheme, simulation model was developed for IGCC power cycle with Texaco Quench gasification process. The simulation results showed that the thermal efficiency of the plant was appeared to be the best when all of the air consumption required for Air Separation Unit was supplied from the Gas Turbine and the net plant power output was maximized when 75% of the total ASU an requirement was supplied from Gas Turbine.

  • 지금까지 전통음악분야의 현대적 구현은 민간 연주자들에 의하여 음악을 계승 발전시켜왔다. 특히 농악놀이에 현대적 해석을 가미한 사물놀이는 전통음악 현대화의 일등공신이다. 그러나 전통문화에 대한 공학적 분석은, 에밀레종의 맥놀이 분석, 징의 RIM깊이에 따른 음향의 변화 등 다양한 분야에서 이루어지고 있으나, 전통문화와 IT의 융합은 접근하는 사례가 전무한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 전통음악을 현대화시킨 사물놀이를 사물놀이 고유의 풍모를 살린 전통인형과 함께 임베디드 시스템으로 제작하고, 사물놀이 연주가 수록된 정간보를 디지털악보로 변환하여 악보 내용을 바탕으로 사물놀이 인형들이 각각 사물놀이 악기를 연주하여 사물놀이 본연의 조화를 이룰 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다.

A Study on the Publishing Situation and Developmental Plans of Korean Magazine of Joseon People(Korean) in China (재중 조선인의 조선문(한글) 잡지 발간 상황과 발전에 관한 연구)

  • This study is to inquire into the publishing situation and developmental plans of korean magazine of Joseon people (Korean) in China, About twenty types of magazines for Joseon people(Korean) in China have been published since the liberation of China. These magazines have mainly brought changes such as publication suspensions, reissuing, and renaming in reflection of reading classes and political influence. Also, when classified by topic, the mainstream includes magazines of political. cultural, and art fields. On one hand, difficulties in magazine publication come from a decrease in the Korean Chinese population, population movements, support reduction and abolition from the Chinese government and increases in material costs. To overcome this, Korean reading classes should be secured and a magazine composed in two languages(Chinese-Korean) should be published to pioneer active cultural exchange in and out of China, and various forms of support should be devised from Korea.

Anticonvulsant Effects of JeongGan-Tang and Its Putative Action Mechanism (정간탕(定癎湯)의 항경련(抗痙攣) 효과(效果) 및 작용기전에 관한 연구(硏究))

  • This study was performed to examine the anticonvulsant effects of the extracts of JeongGan-Tang and explanation of its action mechanism. Method: 1) The inhibitory effect on convulsions induced by pentylenetetrazole, picrotoxin and strychnine was investigated in vivo 2) The inhibitory effect on GABA transaminase activity was evaluated in vivo and in vitro. 3) The brain GABA level and glutamate level in pentylenetetrazole-induced convulsion model were analyzed by HPLC, Results: 1) JeongGan-Tang showed the significant effect on the pentylenetetrazole-induced convulsion, which may mean that its anticonvulsant effect would be resulted from the activation of GABA receptor and chloride channel rather than the presynaptic- or postsynaptic inhibition. 2) JeongGan-Tang exhibited proper inhibitory activity on GABA transaminase in vitro and in vivo. 3) JeongGan-Tang increased the brain GABA level but did not affect the brain glutamate content, which may suggest that this drug supresses the convulsion by increase of GABA, an inhibitory neurotransmitter. Conclusion : JeongGan-Tang can be used as an anticonvulsant prescription by the modulation of GABAergic neurotramission.

An Analysis on the Relationship of Computer Curriculums Between Dept. of Computer Education in Universities and IT-Related High Schools (컴퓨터교육과와 IT 관련 고등학교간 교과과정의 연관성 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore relationship of computer curriculums between department of computer education in universities and specialized vocational high schools. We sampled 15 computer curriculums from department of computer education, 17 computer curriculums from specialized high schools and 41 curriculums from vocational high schools. And we compare and analyze the number of subjects and times on all of curriculums. As a result, curriculums in department of computer education is lacking in subjects for domains of multimedia, computer graphics and practical computer graphics. It is low on the relationship of computer curriculums between department of computer educations and IT-related high schools. Therefore, this study concludes by proposing computer curriculums of department of computer education which should reflect the subjects.

Characteristics of Solid Culm and Solidness Variation in Winter Wheat and Triticale (Solid형 맥류의 줄기의 특성과 Solidness 변이)

  • To evaluate the suitability of solid-culm crops for silage, culm characteristics and the variation of solidness in several solid-culm and hollow-culm cultivars of wheat and triticale were examined both in the field and greenhouse. The degree of culm solidness and the voiume of air space in each internodes were measured at heading. The solidness of solid-culm were increased by the development of pith connected with vascular bundles. There was a variation in solidness among the crops tested. The degree of solidness in hollow -culm crops was 14.6% and 15.0% for 'Wonkwang' wheat and 'Shinkihomil' triticale, whereas in solid-culm crops the degree was 77.0-100% for durum wheats, 61. 0-95.8% for bread wheats and 18,7-57,0% for triticales. For 'Golden ball' which had the most solid culms among durum wheats tested higher solidness was observed in the greenhouse than the field, in the high internodes than low ones and in tiller culms than main stems. The solid-culm crops had a smaller air volume in internodes (1.01-2.30ml) than did 'Shinkihomil' (4.85ml) and this characteristics was considered to be advantageous for air removal and lactic fermentation at ensilaging.

  • This study was performed to relate the weathering properties of Oyaish tuff from Japan to mechanical properties of rocks in terms of mineralogical alteration and chemistry. The tuff is composed of clinoptilolite, quartz, feldspars, mordenite, opal C-T, and smectite. Since fresh tuff contains approximately $30\~50\%$ zeolite, it is expected that the rock is subjected to weathering process ascribed to water contents on earth surface, significantly reducing mechanical strength of tuff. It is also anticipated that weathering process and properties may be different even in the same rock mass, due to the differences in local mineralogy, chemistry and microtextures in tuff.

  • Due to their size and complexity, it is very difficult to make diagnostic system for the whole chemical processes. Therefore, a systematic approach is required to decompose larpge-scale process into sub-processes and then diagnose them. This paper suggests a method for the minimization of knowledge base and flexible diagnosis to be used in qualitative fault diagnosis based on Fault-Effect Tree model. The system can be decomposed for flexible diagnosis, size reduction of knowledge base, and consistent construction of complex knowledge base. The new node, gate-variable, is introduced to connect the cause-effect relationships of each sub-process. For on-line diagnosis, off-line analysis is performed to construct Fault-Effect Trees of gate-variables as well as activation conditions of gate-variables. On-line diagnosis strategy is modified to get the same diagnosis result without system decomposition. The proposed method is illustrated with a fault diagnosis system for a large-scale boiler plant.

  • This study aims to investigate the relationships between career stress, career adaptability, and career indecision of female university students. The participants were 184 female students in A university. They responded surveys regarding career stress, career adaptability, and career indecision. Research results were as follows. First, career stress predicted career indecision. Second, career adaptability mediated the relationship between career stress and career indecision. This result examined that career stress is an important factor which predicts career indecision. In addition, career adaptability could help to increase between career stress and career indecision by mediation effect. These findings of this research provide useful information for designing and implementing career education program.
