A study on the optimum ratio of the ingredients in preparation of black sesame gruels (흑임자죽 재료배합비의 최적화 연구)

  • The aim of this study was to develop a standardized recipe for black sesame gruel that has been preferred for generations as a nutritional food. The method focused on optimizing the mixing ratio of the components to improve the quality of the black sesame gruels that modem consumers would like. The results are summarized as follows: The more black sesame added to the gruel, the lower its brightness was, but the redness and yellowness was higher. The amount of black sesame made a significant difference in the viscosity, color, nutty taste, bitterness, appearance and overall preference. It was highest in the overall preference when the amount of black sesame was added 33g(40% of rice weight basis). Different types of rice were added to the black sesame gruel, and it was observed that the color value of the gruel was high in its brightness, redness and yellowness when 50g(60%) of glutinous rice was added to it. The black sesame gruel was most preferred when 50g of non-glutinous rice was added. The redness value was high when 15g(18%) of non-glutinous rice flour was added. The yellowness value was high when 25g(30%) of non-glutinous rice flour was added. This observation showed significant differences in the viscosity, color, nutty taste, bitterness, appearance and overall preference. In particular, the black sesame gruel was most preferred when 50g of non-glutinous rice flour was added. The addition of 7g(9%) of salt to the black sesame gruel showed the highest brightness. The redness and yellowness was the highest when 5g(6%) of salt was added. This observation showed a significant difference in the viscosity, color, nutty taste, bitterness, appearance and overall preference. The highest preference was observed when 2.5g(3%) of salt was added. Adding more materials increased the viscosity of the black sesame gruel. With increasing temperature, the viscosity became lower, and vice versa. The intensity of sweetness and spreadability was found to be proportional to the amount of additive material. In conclusion, the optimum recipe for black sesame gruels was obtained 33g(40%) of black sesame, 50g(60%) of glutinous rice (flour), 2.5g of salt, and 500$m\ell$ of water.

  • Nylon-6의 내충격성을 개선하기 위한 개질제로써 에틸렌-프로필렌 고무(EPR)와 에 틸렌-아크릴 에스터-무수말레산 공중합체(EAM)를 첨가한 nylon-6/EPR/EAM 블렌드 시스 템의 유변학적 특성을 24$0^{\circ}C$에서 조사하였다. 개질제중 EAM의 점도는 조성물 가운데 가장 낮음에도 불구하고 첨가량을 증가함에 따라 블렌드의 점도는 증가하였다. 또한 EPR(I)의 점 도가 EPR(II)의 점도보다 낮지만 EAM 함량이 증가함에 따라 nylon-6/EPR(I)/EAM의 점도 는 nylon-6/EPR(II)/EAM의 점도보다 높아지는 현상이 관찰되었다. 이러한 특성을 분산상의 morphology 변화와 전단력하에서 변형이 어려워지기 때문인 것으로 해석하였다.

Rheological Properties of Citrus Pectin Solutions in the Presence of NaCl (감귤류 펙틴의 리올로지 특성에 대한 NaCl 첨가효과)

  • 농후한 점도영역에서 감귤류 펙틴용액에 NaCl을 첨가하였을 때 점도 및 점탄성 변화를 연구하였다. NaCl의 농도가 증가함에 따라 펙틴용액의 점도도 점차 증가하였으며, 1.5 M의 NaCl을 첨가한 경우 점도가 약 3배 증가하였다. NaCl의 첨가에 따른 점도특성의 일반화 곡선으로서 ${\eta}/{\eta}_0$$\dot{\gamma}/\dot{\gamma}_{0.8}$ 관계는 상대적으로 낮은 중첩도를 보였다. Zero-shear viscosity $({\eta}_0)$와 NaCl 농도(C)와는 ${\eta}_0\;{\propto}\;10^{0.32C}$의 관계를 보였으며, 이때 상관계수(R2)는 0.995였다. 한편, NaCl 농도가 증가함에 따라 저장탄성률(G#)과 손실탄성률(G@)이 모두 증가하였다.

  • 폴리카본산계 기능성 고분자를 합성해서 고성능 감수제 원료로 활용하여 고유동화 혼화제를 개발하고자 한다. 폴리카본산계 기능성 고분자를 합성한 후, 이를 고유동, 고강도 혼화제 원료로의 제반 물성을 확인하고, 이를 현장에 적용하여 현재의 제품을 획기적으로 개선하고, 혼화제 품질의 우위성을 확보하기 위해 1) 시멘트 및 골재 표면에서의 적절한 계면활성을 갖는 분자설계를 하였으며, 2)분자량의 조절 기술의 개발을 개발하였다. 합성에 있어서 첫째, 시멘트 및 골재 표면에서의 적절한 계면활성을 갖는 분자설계와 둘째, Mw 5,000정도의 분자량을 갖는 감수제의 합성기술을 개발하였다. 이렇게 제조된 고성능 유동화제의 화학구조 해석을 해석하고 분자량 및 분자량 분포를 측정한 다음, 시멘트 페이스트의 유동성, 점도, 슬럼프로스 등을 측정하여 고성능 유동화제의 성능인 시멘트 페이스트의 유동성을 시험하였다. 그 결과 고유동성을 갖는 것과 장시간 안정한 유동성을 나타내었으며, 경과 시간에 따른 겉보기 점도변화를 측정한 결과 점도의 상승이 초기에 일어나다가 시간의 경과에 따라 점도가 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 따라서 경과시간에 따른 유동성 손실을 억제할 것으로 기대한다.

  • 폭발법에 의하여 얻어진 나노다이아몬드는 흑연상의 탄소를 일정 부분 갖으면서도 천연다이아몬드와 유사하게 높은 경도와 내마모 특성을 갖는 것으로 알려져 있으며, 흑연은 고온에 견디는 고체 윤활제로 사용되어 왔다. 따라서 나노다이아몬드를 오일과 물에 첨가하면서 용액의 점도 변화와 윤활 특성을 조사하였다. Fig. 2와 같이 3%(w/v)까지는 점도가 선형적으로 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Xanthomonas sp. EPS-1으로부터 생산된 다당류 EPS-1 용액의 농도가 0.04(g/dl)일 때, 비점도는 0.137, 환원 점도는 3.425, 상대점도는 1.137, 고유점도는 3.209임을 알 수 있었다. 겉보기 점도는 온도상슴에 따라 낮아졌으나 다시 온도를 증가하였을때는 서서히 증가하였다. 열처리 후에도 물성은 거의 변화지 않았으며, 응집성은 좋지 않았으나 locust bean gum과의 혼합효과는 우수하였다.

  • 석탄슬래그는 회분의 조성에 따라 고온에서 매우 상이한 슬래그 거동을 보여준다. 국내 가스화 대상탄으로 검토된 탄 중, 산성 산화물의 함량이 높아 고용융점을 갖는 7종의 석탄 회분을 가스화 조건인 고온, 환원분위기에서 점도 측정을 실시하였다. 4종의 탄에 대해서는 높은 점도를 낮추기 위하여 염기성 산화물인 CaO를 3가지 비율로 혼합하여 점도 측정을 실시하였다. 또한, flux의 혼합으로 인해 발생할 수 있는 결정체 형성을 FactSage 평형계산 프로그램과 CaO-SiO2-Al2O3 3성분계 상평형도를 이용하여 예측하였다. CaO가 첨가된 시료 모두에서 낮은 CaO 첨가비에서는 원래의 시료보다 낮은 점도를 보였으나, CaO첨가비가 20% 이상일 때는 anorthite이 형성되어 $T_{cv}$를 갖는 결정슬래그로 점도 거동이 변화하면서 실제조업 가능한 온도를 증가시켰다. 점도 측정 후 냉각된 시료의 SEM/EDX 분석을 통해 형성된 결정체를 관찰한 결과, FactSage와 상평형도에서 예측된 결정체와 유사하게 나타나 CaO-SiO2-Al2O3 3성분계 상평형도가 결정체 예측에 유용함을 확인하였다.

Rheological behavior study of Marine Lubricating oil on the amount of MGO (Marine Gas Oil) dilution (해상용 경유의 희석량에 따른 선박용 윤활유의 유변학적 거동연구)

  • This paper describes the rheological behavior study such as viscosity and change of shear stress regarding marine lubricating oil according to the amount of Marine Gas Oil (MGO) dilution. The viscosity reduction due to fuel dilution is crucially important characteristic to decreasing engine durability because of the abrasion of piston ring or liner. The lubricating oil used in this paper was blended with magnetic stirrer diluted High Sulfur Diesel (HSD, 0.05 wt%) ratio of 3 %, 6 %, 10 %, 15 % and 20 %. The viscosity and shear stress of diluted lubricating oil were measured with the temperature range from $-10^{\circ}C$ to $80^{\circ}C$ using a rotary viscometer (Brookfield Viscometer). As the amount of MGO dilution increasing in lubricating oil, the viscosity and stress of those decreased, because the lubricating oil diluted MGO with low viscosity show the trends to decreased viscosity and shear stress. Especially, the viscosity and shear stress of lubricating oil radically decreased at low temperature ($0{\sim}-10^{\circ}C$) and doesn't effect in MGO dilution at over $40^{\circ}C$. As temperature risen, the reduction of the viscosity and shear stress in lubricating oil shows the Newtonian behavior. The lubricating oil was required to check up periodically to improve engine durability since the viscosity reduction by MGO dilution accelerating the engine abrasion.

Effect of Viscosity and Clogging on Grout Penetration Characteristics (점도 변화와 폐색 현상을 고려한 그라우트재의 침투 특성)

  • Many construction projects adopt grouting technology to prevent the leakage of groundwater or to improve the shear strength of the ground. Recognition as a feasible field procedure dates back to 1925. Since then, developments and field use have increased rapidly. According to improvement of grout materials, theoretical study on grout penetration characteristics is demanded. Fluid of grout always tends to flow from higher hydraulic potential to lower one and the motion of grout is also a function of formation permeability. Viscosity of pout is changed by chemical action while grout moves through pores. Due to the increment of viscosity, permeability is decreased. Permeability is also reduced by grout particle deposits to the soil aggregates. In this paper, characteristics of new cement grout material that has been developed recently are studied: injectable volume of new grout material is tested in two different grain sizes of sands; and the method to calculate injectable volume of grout Is suggested with consideration of change in viscosity and clogging phenomena. The calculated values are compared with injection test results. Viscosity of new grout material is found to increase as an exponential function of time. And lumped parameter $\delta$ of new grout material to be used for assessing deposition characteristics is estimated by comparing deposit theory with injection test results considering different soil types and different injection pressures. Injection test results show that grout penetration rate is decreased by the increase of grout viscosity and clogging phenomena.

The Characteriastics of Viscosity Behavior of EMC for Semi-conductor Encapsulant - Containing One Kind of Spherical Silica (반도체 봉지재용 EMC의 점도거동 특성 - 한 종류의 구형 실리카 포함)

  • The rheological properties of highly filled epoxy molding compound(EMC) for semi-conductor encapsulants are greatly affected by the content of filler loaded. In this study, the change of viscosity of EMC for semi-conductor encapsulants with the filler content was investigated. Also, both of Cox-Merz and modified Cox-Merz equations were applied to convert the viscosity change as a function of frequency to that of shear rate. It was ovserved that shear thinning and yield stress occured at high filler contents and that the Cox-Merz equation could not be applied at high filler contents because of the difference of viscosity according to the various strains. When the modified Cox-Merz equation was applied, the all the curves having different strain tend to be represented by one master curve, even though some deviation was obseved at high filler content and strain.
