The purpose of this research is to investigate factors that influence weight control behavior(WCB) of young women in Korea. Data were obtained from the 2013 Community Health Survey which was conducted nationally. The study subject comprised 13,351 women ranging in age from 19 to 29. Data were analyzed using ${\chi}2$-test and multivariate logistic regression analysis. WCB showed differences in age, marital status, education, family type, BMI, perceived health status, subjective obesity, high risk drinking, weekday sedentary leisure-time activity, breakfast skipping, sleeping time, perceived stress, depression and suicidal ideation. And the significant predictors of WCB were age, marital status, education, family type, BMI, perceived health status, subjective obesity, high risk drinking, weekday sedentary leisure-time activity, perceived stress and depression. In conclusion, it is suggested that approach to WCB should be considered in correlation between WCB and other health behaviors.

과거 담배가 남성의 전유물로 여겨지던 시절에는 여성의 흡연율이 전반적으로 대단히 낮았다. 그러나 담배로 인한 폐해가 늘어나고, 담배의 해로움에 대한 연구결과들이 보고되면서 남성의 흡연율은 선진국을 시작으로 감소추세에 있지만, 여성의 흡연율은 세계적으로 급속한 증가추세에 있다. 유교 문화권에 속해 있는 우리나라의 경우, 여성 흡연율이 아직 그렇게 높은 편은 아니지만, 1990년대에 들어서면서 젊은 여성으로부터 급속하게 증가하고 있기 때문에 이에 대해서 심각한 고민과 적극적인 금연운동이 필요한 상황이다. 여성은 같은 양의 담배를 피워도 남성보다 건강상의 피해를 보는 정도가 더 심하다는 연구 결과 들이 많다. 여기에 덧붙여서 최근의 연구 또한 흡연하는 여성이 담배를 끊으려고 할 때 남성보다 더 끊기 어렵다고 보고하고 있다. 금연이라는 것이 원래 쉬운 것은 아니지만, 여성에게 특히 더 어려운 이유가 무엇일까?

This study is the comparative analysis of the image structure young korean and Japanese on the present day consumer goods. Korean young men and women have image structure with 3factors of "minute-simplicity" , "practical-nan-practical ", "light-heavy", Japanese young men have those with, "light-heavy", "gay-quiet", "graceful-unstylish". And Japanese young women have those with, "gay-quiet", "light-heavy", "graceful-unstylish". Korean men and women have the same image structure. While Japanese men and women have different image structures. Korean young men and women are sensitive to decoration elements of consumer goods. Japanese young women are also sensitive to the decoration element. Korean young men and women and the Japanese young women seem to grasp their image on the consumer goods at the level of recognition, However, Japanese young men seem to grasp their image on the consumer goods at the level of sense of value.er, Japanese young men seem to grasp their image on the consumer goods at the level of sense of value.

Purpose: Calcium pyrophosphate dihydrate crystal deposition disease(CPPD) is a disease of the elderly and extremely rare in young individuals. If young people develop CPPD crystal deposition disease, it may be associated with metabolic diseases, such as hemochromatosis, hyperparathyroidism, hypophosphatasia, hypomagnesemia, Wilson's disease, hypothyroidism, and gout. Materials and Methods: Therefore, in young-onset CPPD crystal deposition disease, an investigation of any predisposing metabolic conditions is warranted. Conclusion: We report a case of a young female patient who presented with idiopathic CPPD crystal deposition disease at 25 years of age.

The aim of this study was to determine the effects of tote bag weight on muscle thickness of pectroalis minor and tone of upper trapezius in young adult women. 27 women habitual of carrying tote bags. The subjects were measured the tone of the upper trapezius muscle and the thickness of the pectoralis minor muscle while carrying tote bags with the weight of 0%, 5%, 7.5% and 10% of the subjects' body weight. As the weight load increased, the upper trapezius muscle demonstrated significantly increased muscle tone (p<.05). additionally, a significantly increased thickness in the pectoralis minor muscle was noted(p<.05). These findings suggest that the habit of carrying a tote bag on the wrist may be disadvantageous to improving the two muscles in young women. Therefore, this study recommend women who likely used tote bag decrease the weight of the bag.
