과학의 달, 4월의 문화인물로 선정된 조선조의 지리학자 이중환은 우리나라 지리학의 중시조. 그의 대표작 택리지는 우리의 전통적 풍수지리학을 반쯤 섞고 거기에 근대 지리학의 성격을 가미했다. 이 택리지는 사대부가 어디 살아야 할 것인가를 가르치기 위한 책으로 지리ㆍ생리ㆍ인심ㆍ산수 등 4가지로 나눠 설명했는데 이책은 1750년쯤 쓴 것으로 보인다.

'임자'란 깨를 의미하는 한자말로서, 임자수탕은 닭국물과 깨국물을 섞어 차게 요리하는 것으로 조상들이 여름 별미로 먹던 전통 보양식이다. 차게 내는 음식이지만, 닭의 성질이 본래 따뜻하므로 땀을 많이 흘려 속이 차지는 한여름에 땀은 식히고 속은 보하는 건강식이다.

술은 제각기 그 나라의 풍토와 민속을 담고 있다. 술은 종류가 다를지언정 어느 술이고 주성분은 주정이다. 주정의 정이 마음 정자인 것처럼 영.불.독어에서도 주정을 표현하는 말이 spirit, espri, geist 등으로 모두 정신이란 말로 쓰이고 있다(유태종 1977). 동서양을 막론하고 술은 사람에게 신비로운 존재였으므로 그렇게 표현한 것도 당연한 일이었다고 보여진다.(중략)

전통적인 자동차는 운전자의 판단과 조작에 의해서만 움직여야 하나 최근 자율주행자동차가 선을 보이고 있으며, 미래에는 운전자의 조작 없이 자동차가 스스로 목적지를 찾아가는 완전자율주행자동차 시대가 올 것으로 예견된다. 본 고에서는 자율주행자동차의 출현에 따른 지상파 방송의 역할을 제시한다.

Scarf has played an important role not only as keeping warm of human body but also as accessory of clothes. These days with taking a growing interest of accessory, scarf had thrown off a subsidiary part and gradually had a leading place which guides the overall mode of fashion. Because scarf design of Korea does not get out of imitation step of foreign countries brands it is necessary to develop the scarf design which can show the cultural identity and originality of Korea in international society. Therefore in this study, I chose lotus flower patterns expressed on Buncheon pottery and Korean traditional patchwork cloth as the subject material of scarves design development, and my intention for this study is to develop scarves designs of Korean images by adding modern scenes. For that, first I researched lotus flower patterns expressed on Buncheon pottery and Korean traditional patchwork cloth. Among those materials, I selected to had been presented modern image. And by using computer design program of adobe illustrator 10.0 I designed the basic patterns of three types and developed the square scarves design and rectangle scarves design with those.

Jungganbo is a writing method for the Korean traditional music. Since writing the Korean music needs to be done by hand and Chinese characters are used, only an expert musician might handle Jungganbo. In this paper, an authoring software tool for Jungganbo is introduced. It is useful for anybody who wants to compose the Korean tradition music with a computer. This tool also enables to standardize writing techniques of Jungganbo because a musical score was done by hands without using an authoring tool. In addition, this authoring tool can be easily used since its environment is very similar to other windows-based programs such as Ms-word and Hwp. Not only the beginners but also the experts can use this authoring tool for their Korean traditional music writing easily.

Japanese larch glulam was used as structural members to develop a modern engineered wood jointing system using traditional post and beam structure. For the connections comprised of traditional joining and drift-pins, structural members are processed at a pre-cut factory. As a basic study to examine and increase the whole shear performance of portal frame, pin withdrawal test and moment resistance tests were conducted on each connection. The post and beam members with specified connectors showed good bearing performance in the wood members' joining system, column-base and beam-end. Moment rigidity was a bit better in a joint with higher slenderness ratio of drift-pin, but moment resistance performances, yield moment and maximum moment, were excellent in smaller one.

본 연구는 8개의 RBS (reduced beam section) 내진 철골모멘트접합부의 실물대 실험결과를 요약한 것이다. 본 실험의 주요변수는 보 웨브 접합법 및 패널존 강도를 택하였다. 균형 패널존 시험체는 접합부의 내진성능을 감소시키지 않으면서, 보와 패널존이 함께 균형적으로 지진에너지를 소산시키도록 설계하여 값비싼 패널존보강판(doubler plates)의 수요를 줄이고자 시도한 것이다. 보 웨브를 용접한 시험체는 모두 특별 연성모멘트골조에서 요구되는 접합부 회전능력을 충분히 발휘하였다. 반면 보 웨브를 볼트접합한 시험체는 조기에 스캘럽을 가로지르는 취성파단이 발생하는 열등한 성능을 보였다. 보 그루브 용접부 자체의 취성파괴가 본 연구에서와 같이 양질의 용접에 의해 방지되면, 스켈럽 부근의 취성파단이 다음에 해결해야 할 문제로 대두되는 경향을 보인다. 보 웨브를 볼팅한 경우에 접합부 취성파단의 빈도가 월등히 높은 이유를 실험 및 해석결과를 토대로 제시하였다 측정된 변형도 데이터에 의할 때, 접합부의 전단력 전달메카니즘은 흔히 가정하는 고전 휨이론에 의한 예측과 전혀 다르다. 이는 전통적 보 웨브 설계법을 재검토할 필요가 있음을 시사하는 것이다. 아울러, 본 연구의 제한된 실험자료 및 접합부에서 요구되는 바람직한 거동기준을 근거로 균형 패널존의 강도범위에 대한 예비적 추정치를 제시하였다.
