State Estimation of Electric Railway Substation using Equality Constraints (등식제약조건을 이용한 전철변전소 상태추정)

  • Through the process of state estimation in the electric railway substation, this paper presents a new method for improving the reliability of the measurements corrupted by gauge error. Unlike the case of commercial power systems, it has been difficult to perform the state estimation by using the usual methods in the electric railway substation. At some of the monitoring points in the substation, most often, it is hard to define the measurement functions by use of the states or as we set up a new states set with the change of system topology, some of the measurement functions become part of the states themselves, which leads to poor results. To resolve the problems in the existing method caused by the relations between the states and the measurement functions at the monitoring points, the proposed method in this paper exploits the equality constraints. They can be derived numerously and concisely from the current and the voltage attributes of the Scott transformer and the buses connecting conditions, etc. We have proofed the effectiveness of the proposed method by the test on a standard sample substation.

  • 전기철도에서는 한 전철변전소에서 급전이 용이하지 못할 경우 인근변전소에서 연장급전을 수행한다. 특히 AT(Auto Transformer)와 BT(Booster Transformer)급전시스템이 인접한 경우 연장급전운영을 하기 위한 방안 및 전기적인 요소를 급전계통모의를 통하여 검토하여 그 급전가능성을 제시한다.

  • Overhead line voltage of DC railway traction substations has rising or falling characteristics depending on the acceleration and regenerative braking of the subway train loads. The suppression of this irregular fluctuation of the line voltage gives rise to improved energy efficiency of both the railway substation and the trains. This paper presents parameter estimation schemes using the RC circuit model for an overhead line voltage at a 1500V DC electric railway traction substation. A linear artificial neural network with a back-propagation learning algorithm was trained using the measurement data for an overhead line voltage and four feeder currents. The least square estimation method was configured to implement batch processing of these measurement data. These estimation results have been presented and performance analysis has been achieved through raw data simulation.

  • 전기철도차량을 개발하여 상업운행에 들어가기 전에 차량의 성능과 관련 있는 항목에 대한 여러 가져 성능시험을 수행해야 한다. 성능시험 항목 중에 하나가 전자파 시험이다. 전자파 시험은 차상에서 고조파와 전자파를 측정하는 시험과 차량에서 외부로 방사하는 전자파를 측정하는 시험, 차량에 전력을 공급하는 전철변전소에 유도되는 고조파를 측정하는 시험으로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 한국형 고속열차를 대상으로 순차적으로 진행한 전자파 시험에 대한 결과를 종합적으로 정리하였다.

  • It is important to evaluate the power quality at a substation when a test train is running. Especially, the Korea Electric Power Company(KEPCO) restrict the power quality generated from the electrical train within limited value. So, this paper represents the results of the power quality test when Hanvit 350 is running at the KTX high speed line and the assessment.

  • 현재 전국적으로 $\blacktriangle$ 전기, 가스, 상수도, 하수도, 열수송관 등을 공동 수용하는 '지하공동구'가 14개 도시 30개소에 160.4km $\blacktriangle$ 보행공간으로 병용되는 '지하도로'가 23개도시 118개소에 63만 $m^2$ $\blacktriangle$ 지하도로내 설치된 지하점포가 1만1천798개소 23만$m^2$이 있다. 이와 같이 현대 도시내에서 지상공간의 과밀도 개발로 인하여 지하공간의 수요가 증대되어 지하공간 구조물이 많이 설치되고 있는 반면, 지하상가, 지하천 등과 같은 지하공간 시설에서 발생할 수 있는 침수피해 대책이 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 과거 지하공간의 침수피해 실태를 조사하고 그 사례에서 원인을 분석하여 기술적 해결책을 도출해 내며, 침수방지를 위한 대책으로 국내에서 사용하고 있는 기숙이나 국외(미국, 일본)의 침수방지 기술 및 대책, 침수시 가이드라인 등을 조사하였다. 또한 지하공간이 침수되었을 때 일어날 수 있는 위험성에 대하여 이론적인, 기술적인 조건에 대하여 조사하였다. 이를 토대로 지하공간의 유형 즉, 지하주택, 지하상가, 지하공공시설(지하차도, 지하철, 전철, 지하변전소)에 대한 구체적인 침수방지 기숙에 대한 기준을 제시함으로써 궁극적으로는 지방자치단체, 관련기관, 연구기관에서 지하공간 침수방지대책에 대한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • The substation automation is a system to remote-monitor and control electric power flow. And in line with electrification of railway, an interest in electric railway substation automation is increasing. IEC standardized IEC 61850, IEC 61968 and IEC 61970 communication protocol for the telecommunication standardization of the electric power automation industry. The recent SCADA systems in managed electric railway substations are have the problem about the compatibility with the products which fit to the international standard specification afterward. In this paper, the model of electric railway substation automation based on IEC 61850 and IEC 61970 is presented. And the method supporting the compatibility between the equipment is proposed.

  • KORAIL is one of the biggest consumer in electric power market so it is necessary to investigate power consumption pattern and optimize power rates. This paper presents simulation program for electric power rates define program based on billing system database. Base on the substation annual power usage DB data, the characteristic of the substation power consumption are investigated and effective electrical billing system are compared each other. Through this program it is verified that we can save more then several hundred million won for a year. Also electric train air condition power consumption was measured to figure the method how to reduce peak energy consumption.

  • PCC(Point of Common Coupling) is measured by waveform in power system. Analyzing their frequency, it is possible to get various indices such as THD(Total Harmonic Distortion), TDD(Total Demand Distortion), and VF(Voltage Flicker), and then the harmonic can be evaluated from them. In this paper, the harmonic effect on the power supply which is generated by the vehicle is presented by comparing harmonics with the substation and the vehicle.
