  • 인프라시설은 한번 설치하면 오랜 기간동안 사용해야 하는 시설로서 설치단계에서부터 가치에 기반하여 최적으로 구축하는 것이 무엇보다도 중요하다. 지금까지 설치된 인프라시설은 초기 투자비용만 고려되었을 뿐, 생애주기비용(LCC)과 성능이 고려되지 않아 효율적인 유지관리와 제대로된 자산관리를 하지 못하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 하지만, 앞으로의 시설 구축 개념은 최저 비용 개념에서 최고 가치 개념으로 변해가고 있으며, 정부에서도 100억원 이상의 건설공사에 LCC 및 VE 검토를 의무화 하고 있는 상황으로, 인프라시설 구축 시에도 VE 대안평가가 필요하다는 의견이 많이 대두되고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 인프라시설 중 하나인 통신전주를 대상으로 VE 대안평가를 실시하여 향후 설치될 통신 전주에 대한 의사결정 가이드라인을 제시하고, 이를 체계적으로 지원할 수 있는 인프라시설 VE 평가시스템에 대한 내용도 함께 소개하여 인프라시설에 적용 가능한 VE 대안평가 기법의 초석을 마련하고자 한다.

Characteristics of Heavy Metal Pollution in Contaminated Roadside Sediments in Jeonju City, Korea (전주시 도로변 퇴적물의 중금속 오염 특성)

  • To study characteristics of the heavy metal pollution, sediment samples were collected at 67 sites on the roadside of Jeonju city during summer and winter, 2002. The total concentration of metals including Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn, and Mn in the sediment samples were determined. The results indicate that the roadside sediments in Jeonju city have lower (1/2 to 1/7 times) concentrations of Zn, Cu, Pb and Cd than the metal concentrations previously reported for roadside soil, dust and sewage sludges in Seoul. However, the metal concentrations are higher than environmental quality criteria in soil suggested from several countries, and Zn, Cu, Pb and Cd contents are usually 2-7 times higher than the world average contents of the metals in natural soil. Although pollution index and concentrations of Cr, Ni, Pb and Zn in the roadside sediments at industrial area were usually higher than those of downtown and residential area, the metal having small vehicle- and steel-related industries had high concentrations of metals. The results of chemical partitioning analysis showed that Pb, Zn and Mn are mainly associated with carbonate/adsorbed and Fe-Mn oxide phases but that Cu is largely associated with the organic and sulfide fractions. It thus indicates that both large and small (vehicle- and steel-related) industries are main sources of heavy metal contamination. Due to high solubility of the carbonate phases by natural leaching episodes, the carbonate/adsorbed Cd, Co, Ni, Pb, Zn and Mn in the roadside sediments may serve as a potential source of contamination.

  • The Korea Ministry of Environment prepares some paticulate matter eliminate measures for national health protection, as the Paticulate Matter ($PM_{2.5}$) exceeds the standard at more than half of the monitoring posts installed in the nation's big cities. At the center of JeonJu, when measuring the ultrafine particles of inner car at the different driving conditions, at the condition of the Actuator of inner recirculation mode and the Blower of 2-speed, the reduction speed of the ultrafine particles is most fast and the concentration stays low. When the windows are opened during driving, outer pollutants enter the car and also inner paticulate matter flies in all direction, and the increase of passengers causes the scattering of the ultrafine paticles. As the filter for air cleaning, the using of polypropylene non-woven fabric (used commonly now) is most excellent, but for the removal of volatile organic substance as well as the paticulate matter, it is thought that the using of activated carbon fiber filter, carbon adsorbent, is even more excellent.

Work-Related Upper Extremity Musculoskeletal Pain Korean Baristas (한국의 바리스타들의 업무 관련 상지 근골격계 통증)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the current status of work-related upper extremity musculoskeletal pain in baristas and to identify the elements that are related to pain. The questionnaires were distributed to 100 workers in 63 cafes on Jeonju city in Korea. As a result of investigating work related pain, 65.3% (n=64) answered "yes" to the question that had pain at least once a week, month, or year, or 34.7% (n=34) answered "no". Most of the workers were right-handed, and when they felt pain, they felt 25 to 50% of time per day. Especially, baristas reported that the use of porter filters during work and the tamping operation were the most painful. In conclusion, our study indicated that necessary to introduce and develop a program to prevent cafe worker disease, as well as need to future research to improve work environment and posture according to the characteristics of the cafe works.

  • 가공배전선로는 태풍 내습시 전주 및 전선에 작용하는 풍압에 대하여 견딜 수 있도록 설계되어져야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 가공배전선로의 설계시 사용되는 전주에 가해지는 풍압에 의한 굽힘모멘트 및 굴곡개소의 합성모멘트 계산시 사용하는 기존 계산식의 문제점을 분석하고 현장에서 쉽게 적용 가능한 새로운 계산식을 유도하였다. 새로운 계산식을 이용하여 설계자들이 가공배전선로의 지지물 및 지선강도를 검토할 수 있게 됨으로써 태풍과 같은 재해시에도 안전한 설비를 시설할 수 있게 되었다.

Petrological Investigation of the Specimens in School Rock Gardens in Jeonju, Korea (전주시 학교 암석원에 전시된 표품에 대한 암석학적 고찰)

  • The effective teaching of Earth Science in the classroom should be augmented by field studies of rocks and minerals in a competently designed school rock garden(SRG). The displayed specimens must be correctly identified, labeled and esthetically evaluated. SRG is more than a general garden with just landscaping and it should provide students with freedom of conducting independent inquiries. The composition of the selected specimens should be representative of the bedrocks of region as well as of Korea in general. There are 130 schools in Jeonju-city and 35 (26.9%) have established rock gardens. There is a pressing demand for more gardens and number of display samples in school. The existing displays need improvement because some samples are not correctly identified and labeled. In addition, there is a duplication of rock types as well as lack of important rock types. The number and composition of the displayed rocks and minerals should be related to the school curriculum and reflect representative bedrocks of Jeonju-city and region.

  • 본 연구는 한국형 틸팅 차량의 하이브리드 복합재 차체에 대한 비용 모델링과 전주기 평가{LCA}를 기존 차체 재질인 스틸 및 알루미늄 재질과 병행하여 수행였다. 원자재 생산에서 차체제작, 수명이 끝나는 시점까지의 사용에 대한 모든 단계에서의 비용을 분석했다. 개발과정을 거쳐 향후 양산 예정인 5년 동안 년간 90대정도의 생산량에 대해 금속 차체, 2종의 복합재 차체에대해 비교하였다. 2종의 복합재 차체는 하이브리드 스틸-복합재 구조와 전체 복합재 차체를 나타낸다. 또한, 이 두 경우 모두에 대해 오토클레이브, 진공 성형, 레진 인퓨젼 공법의 성형에 대해 분석하였다. 제작시의 모든 성형 공법에 대해 하이브리드 차체는 전체 복합재 차체보다 4${\sim}$6 % 비용이 낮았다. 전체 복합재 차체의 경우, 레진 인퓨젼의 경우가 오토클레이브에 대해서는 11%낮은 가장 낮은 제작 비용이 소요되었다. 비용-전주기 분석을 통해 전체 복합재 차체는 가장 높은 제작비용이 소요되고 사회 경제학적 측면에서 전체 전주기 비용과 환경영향은 단순 차량 구입 비용보다 더 중요한 변수이며 전체 복합제 차체가 분명한 최적의 해답 임을 확인하였다.

Evaluation of Climate Change between Agricultural Area and Urban Area in Jeonbuk Province, ROK (전북의 농경 지역과 도시 지역에서 기후변화 비교 평가)

  • It was analyzed climatic data in Gimje, Buan, Iksan and Jeonju in Jeonbuk Province between 1930s and 1990s. The data source of Gimje and Iksan in 1930s were Namseon Agricultural Experimental Station. Those in 1990s was Honam Agricultural Research Institute, Rural Development Administration. The data source of Jeonju of 1930s and 1990s was Jeonju Weather Station, Korea Meteorological Administration. Weather Station of Gimje and Buan were located at the agricultural area in rural paddy field. That of Iksan was located at the agricultural area in suburban paddy field. That of Jeonju was located at the downtown area. As compared to mean air temperature between 1930s and 1990s, it was increased by $0.2^{\circ}C$ in agricultural area, $0.6^{\circ}C$ in Iksan city and $1.4^{\circ}C$ in Jeonju city. On the while, increased temperature was the higher in winter than other seasons. Annual precipitation was increased by 128.1 mm in agricultural area and 169.3 mm in Jeonju city. And it was remarkable in summer season.

Economic Valuation of Green Spaces for Residents in non-Capital Areas (비수도권 주민들의 녹지공간 경제가치 추정)

  • This paper aims to examine economic values of green spaces for non-Capital areas that have been rarely studied. Choice experiments were applied to two dissimilar but adjoining areas: The City of Jeonju and Wanju County. Split-sample surveys allowed to compare between apartment dwellers and single- or multi-family house dwellers, and across differing types of green spaces. According to the results, significant and substantial preferences might prevail not only for large cities, but also for agricultural areas. The mean willingness-to-pay (WTP) values of apartment dwellers for the view of a river/lake or mountain were generally smaller than those of Seoul, while the overall access values showed the opposite relationships. House dwellers in Jeonju showed substantially larger economic values for green spaces than those of the counterparts in Seoul, except for the access value of a river/lake. The findings grant follow-up studies investigating the reasons for the anomalous preferences particularly in Jeonju and identifying new management policies for non-Capital areas.

A Study on Tourism Resource Strategy of Film Location using Social Bigdata based on SNS Trend Analysis of Jeonju Area (소셜 빅데이터를 활용한 영화촬영지 관광자원화 방안 -전주 지역의 관광체험 SNS 동향 분석을 토대로-)

  • In 1995, the filming location of the drama had been famous, and as a result it brings the effect of increasing tourists of that areas. After that, many local governments try to host the filming on their regions to be potential tourist attractions. With the same stream, Jeonju also has attempted to host International Film Festival and to set up Jeonju Film Commission and Jeonju Cinema Complex. However, although the city already has rich infrastructure facilities to make films, the city hardly tries to use the filming locations as tourist attractions. This study suggests four ways of using filming locations as tourist attractions to activate Jeonju economy and improve Jeonju's cultural image. We firstly collect social bigdata related with tourists of filming locations and tourist attractions in Jeonju from Twitter, which is the most representative SNS, and then perform frequency and trend analysis. We also investigate major factors of visits to tourist's attractions based on content analysis of tweet mentions.
