본고에서는 네트웍환경에서의 매체변화와 장서관리의 향후관계에 대해서 분석하였다. 도서관의 주요자원이 인쇄매체에서 전자매체로 변화함에 따라서, 소장과 접근이라는 전통적인 장서관리로는 이용자 중심의 정보제공 기능을 효과적으로 수행하기에 한계가 있음을 지적하고, 물리적이고 형식적인 매체중심의 장서관리에서 다양한 정보매체가 담고 있는 내용중심의 내용관리(content management)로의 패러다임 전환이 필요함을 규명하였다.

Today's media environment is becoming very complicated and the trend of media convergence is getting clearer. The convergence of media is the supreme hot issue. In this wave of convergence, there has also been a huge change between movies and electronic games. The remake boom between them showed a tremendous economic effect that can be achieved by exchanging two media of essentially different characteristics. As computer virtual reality technologies evolve, electronic games will provide a virtual world that can satisfy the demands of the visual, auditory, and tactile aspects very real to the public with the Internet. At that time, movies and other media will be thoroughly melted into the virtual world created by electronic games, and they will become an element of the virtual world as those media that exist in the truth world.

본 논문은 IEEE 802.11 프로토콜 구성과 무선 근거리 통신망의 매체접근제어(Media Access Control: MAC), 공유자원인 무선채널을 액세스하기 위하여 사용하는 대표적인 MAC방식을 분류하여 설명하였고, MAC의 핵심이 되는 매체접근제어 프로토콜인 DFWMAC(Distributed Foundation Wireless MAC)의 핵심기능에 대하여 소개한다.

As newspapers which have been major news media are being replaced by on-line news media in recent years, many researchers are paying attention to "comments(news users' short remarks on an article)", a newly emerged way of forming public opinion. This study is examining how the similarity between political disposition of on-line news visitors and that of news media impacts upon their evaluation on quality of comments from the viewpoint of 'social identity theory.' This study may have academic significance because it inspected the pattern of media usage and the cognition of comments in relation to political disposition for the first time and showed 'comments reading' and the function of comments to form public opinion(comments journalism).

Objective : The purpose of this study was to identify changes in reading ability among children with Borderline Intelligence by applying an electronic media reading training protocol. Methods : A picture book reading training protocol was applied to 10 childrens with borderline intelligence using electronic media to improve reading skills. This protocol was performed for 10 session once a week. After the analysis of the content validity index about the protocol presented in this study, this prococol was applied to the subjects. To analyze the changes of the reading ability for the subjects, KNISE-BAAT type A and B reading test were used. Results : According to the tests taken before and after implementing, the Application of Picture Booking Training Protocol using Electronic Media there was a significant improvement in Reading ability (Understanding words, Completion sentence, Vocabulary selection, Vocabulary arrangement, Understanding short text). However, there was no significant difference in Oral Reading. Conclusion : Application of Picture Booking Training Protocol using Electronic Media may be used as a beneficial measure to improve the reading abilities of children with Borderline Intellectual.

오늘날 급속한 과학기술의 발달과 더불어 우리들은 새로운 미디어 환경의 변화를 통해 지금까지와는 매우 다른 커뮤니케이션 양식을 목격하고 있다. Harvey(1990)의 시간과 공간의 응축(time-space compression)이란 개념을 굳이 빌리지 않더라도 현대사회의 커뮤니케이션 양식은 이전의 것들과는 전혀 다른 양상을 보이고 있다. 전통적인 4대 매체에 이어 제5의 매체로 자리잡고 있는 인터넷이라는 새로운 매체에 대한 학문적 관심이 필요한 이유는 인터넷이 기존의 매체들과는 본질적으로 다른 구별되는 속성을 지니고 있기 때문이다. 현재 특히 컴퓨터용 외부 기록매체분야에서 재래식 자성분말 코팅형 매체에 대해서 여러가지 보다 우수한 특성을 가진 경합재료가 경쟁적으로 개발되고 있다. 먼저 면재기록방식의 경우에 괄목할 발전을 하고 있는 것은 Co-Ni-P 및 Co-Ni계 무전해 혹은 스파터된 hard disk용 박막이다. 아직 오버코팅 문제가 완전히 해결되지 않고 그외 기판문제 등에서 개선의 여지가 많지만 그 수요가 급격히 늘고 있다. 그 다음으로 수직기록 방식 매체인데 현재는 Ba-ferrite분말도포매체가 공업적 공정측면에서 산업화에 가깝다. 이는 기존 테이프 메이커들의 설비활용이 가능하고 tribology, 안정성에서 비교적 문제가 적기 때문이다. 그러자 이 재료도 금속분말도포제와 특성이 비슷하고 분말자체 가격도 비슷해서 기존재료와 치열한 경쟁을 이겨야 산업화에 성공할 것으로 생각된다. 이보다 훨씬 고밀도기록이 가능한 소재중에서 Co-Cr수직기록박막이 가장 많이 연구되고 있어서 공업화 가능성이 높지만 head 재료의 개선, tribology 문제해결 등이 선행되어야 공업화가 성공될 것이다. 그러나 선진국 특히 일본, 미국에서 이러한 연구가 엄청나게 많이 진행되고 있어서 빠른 시일내에 산업화가 이루어질 것으로 기대된다.
