MPPT Control of PV Water Pumping Using BLDC Motor-Inverter (BLDC 모터용 인버터를 이용한 PV 양수펌프의 MPPT 제어)

  • This paper shows how to design a global control of water pumping system using PV array, and tracked maximum power point of PV array only the inverter using the vector control of BLDC motor, and finding the relationships among the DC magnitudes and AC ones in order to omit the DC/DC converter. Conventional MPPT controller was unstable of reason of the ripple-current of DC link in three-phase invertor. Thus, in this paper the control algorithm of BLDC motor using $i_qs$ current is composed to improve the insecurity of conventional MPPT controller To prove the excellence of the proposed method, the contents of this paper is analyzed by means of simulation and testing for the results applying the method that J. A Domfnguez had applied to asynchronous motor to BLDC motor and that of the proposed method in this paper.

An Integer-N PLL Frequency Synthesizer Design for The 900MHz UHF RFID Application (900MHz UHF대역 RFID 응용을 위한 Integer-N PLL주파수 합성기 설계)

  • This paper presents an Integer-N phase-locked loop (PLL) frequency synthesizer using a novel prescaler based on a charge pump and clock triggering circuit. A quadrature VCO has been designed for the 900MHz UHF RFID application. In this circuit, a voltage-controlled oscillator(VCO), a novel Prescaler, phase frequency detector(PFD), charge pump(CP), and analog lock detector(ALD) have been integrated with 0.35-${\mu}m$CMOS process. The integer divider has been developed with a verilog-HDL module, and the PLL mixed mode simulation has been performed with Spectre-Verilog co-simulator. The sweep range of VCO is designed from 828 to 960 MHz and the VCO generates four phase quadrature signals. The simulation results show that the phase noise of VCO is -102dBc/Hz at 100 KHz offset frequency, and the maximum lock-in time is about 4us with 32MHz step change (from 896 to 928 MHz).

  • 저압 개폐기는 에어컨, 냉동기, 산업용 청소기, 전기온수기, 공조기, 펌프, 콤프레션 등의 모터제어 및 히터와 조명기기의 개폐 둥에 광범위하게 이용되는 개폐장치이다. 저압 전자개폐기는 수 천회에서 수백만회까지 빈번한 개폐 사용조건으로 인해 시험 규격에서는 개폐시험을 통해 제품의 수명을 검증하도록 되어 있으며 과다한 시간이 소요된다. 따라서 시험 시간을 단축하기 위한 가속수명 시험이 필요하게 되었으며 가속 스트레스인 과도 회복전압(TRV)의 피크비율(factor ${\gamma}$) 변화에 따라 저압개폐기의 전기적 수명 시험을 실시하였으며 시험결과를 바탕으로 가속 수명 시험을 하기 위한 가속계수를 산출하였다.

  • To prove the vibration and speed error problems caused by the nonlinear friction characteristics and load variation of the hydraulic system, a PID speed controller and a load compensation controller for the hydraulic inverter-fed elevator are proposed. The load compensation controller is composed by the PI controller and the speed controller is composed by the PID controller. The P,I and D gains of the control parameters are obtained by the frequency response of system transfer function. The Effectiveness of the proposed controller are shown by experimental results, which the proposed controller yields robustness with load variations and stable and good speed and acceleration responses with less oscillations.

  • Performance of a water-to-water multi-type heat pump system using R22 has been experimentally investigated. Total refrigerant flow rate was adjusted with a variable speed compressor and the refrigerant flow rate for two indoor units were controlled by electronic expansion valves. Evaporator outlet pressure of refrigerant and indoor unit outlet temperatures of secondary fluid were selected as controlled variables. Experiments were carried out for both cooling and heating modes using PID control method. Results show that the multi-type heat pump system can be adequately controlled by keeping control gains at certain levels for various operating conditions.

  • 본 논문은 최근 고도의 산업화 및 자동화, 전력전자 기술의 발전과 더불어 Power Electronics를 이용한 기술이 다양화됨에 따라 고조파 발생으로 인한 피해 방지 및 전력품질의 중요성이 대두되고 있는 가운데, 보다 효율적인 펌프운전을 위해 정밀성과 제어성능이 우수한 가변속 전력변환장치인 인버터가 적용된 최근 신설된 무인 수도사업장을 대상으로 저압 펌프모터의 기동특성과 고조파를 측정, 분석하여 국제기준에서 제시하는 고조파 관리기준에 적합성 여부를 분석한 사례를 중심으로 연구되었다.

  • Performance of a water-to-water multi-type heat pump system using R22 which has tow indoor units has been investigated experimentally. The refrigerant flow rate of each indoor unit was regulated by an electronic expansion valve and the total refrigerant flow rate of the system was controlled by a variable speed compressor. In the system, evaporator outlet pressure of refrigerant and outlet temperatures of secondary fluid from indoor units were selected as control variables. Experiments were executed for both cooling and heating modes using PID control method with fuzzy logic, and results of the test are compared with a classical PID method. In the case of PID control with fuzzy logic, the fuzzy control rules corrects PID parameters each time. Results show that PID control with fuzzy logic has the merits of quick response and reduced overshoot.

  • The fuel pump, which is used for an aircraft, was first developed in Korea through the Civil-Military Dual Components Development Program. The BLDC motor type, which is superior to the DC brush motor when considering efficiency, endurance, and explosive environmental characteristics, was applied to the fuel pump given its capacity and operating condition. The magnetic flux of the permanent magnet was analyzed based on the magnet flux density equation, using the Maxwell equation and the environmental condition. The motor performance, according to the load, was analyzed using the finite element method in order to design validation. The motor assembly was developed by designing the motor drive and the EMI filters. The performance test results of the motor assembly for the fuel boost pump were consistent with the analysis.

  • In this paper, the design and simulation results of IF frequency synthesizer section has been described. We has been used 0.8 $\mu\textrm{m}$ BiCMOS device and library of the AMS. IF frequency synthesizer section has been contained IF VCO, Phase Detector, Divide_by_8, Charge Pump and Loop Filter. IF frequency synthesizer has been shown operating voltage of 2.7~3.6 V, control voltage of 0.5~2.7 V and supply current of 11 mA. The measured results have been showed good agreement with the simulation results about supply current.
