환류 다이오드의 전압, 전류스트레스가 강하된 ZCS-PWM Boost Converter (ZCS-PWM Boost Converter Dropped Voltage and Current Stress of a Free-Wheeling Diode)

  • This paper presents a boost circuit topology driving in high - frequency It solves the problem which arised from hard-switching in high-frequency using a period of resonant circuit and operating under the principle of ZCS turn-on and ZCZVS turn-off commutation schemes. In the existing circuit, it has the high voltage and current stress in free- wheeling diode. But in the proposed circuit, it has voltage and current stress which is lower than voltage and current stress of existing circuit with modifing a location of free-wheeling diode. In this paper, it explained the circuit operation of each mode and the waveform of each mode. Also the experiment results compare the voltage and current stress of free-wheeling diode in the existing circuit with the voltage and current stress of that in the proposed circuit. Moreover, it compares and analyzes the proposed circuit's efficiency with the existing circuit's efficiency according to the change of load current.

3D 스캔을 활용한 송전선로 ACSR 케이블 결빙특성 평가 (Evaluation method of icing characteristics for ACSR cable in transmission line by 3D scan)

  • 송전 및 배전선 선로에 사용되는 핵심 부품인 ACSR (Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced, 강심 알루미늄 연선) cable은 우수한 기계적 성질, 가벼운 중량, 내부식성 특징을 가지고 있어 송전 및 배전선 선로에 핵심 부품으로 사용된다. 하지만, 국내외 혹한 다설 지역에 설치된 ACSR cable에서 빙설해로 인한 단락 또는 지락 사고가 지속적으로 발생하고 있다. 빙설해에 의한 송전선로의 고장은 급격한 전압 강하로 인해 전기 품질에 큰 영향을 주어 민원제기의 주요 원인이 되며, 고장의 파급효과가 국지적으로 발생하지 않고 광범위하게 발생하는 특징이 있기 때문에 이에 대한 대응이 필요한 실정이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 ACSR cable의 주 소재인 알루미늄에 대한 판상(Plate) 결빙강도 파악 및 결빙방지 소재개발 연구가 국내외에서 활발히 진행 중이나, 실제 원형의 전선다발이 나선형으로 감겨있는 구조의 ACSR cable 결빙 접합강도를 시험을 통해서 명확히 제시한 연구결과는 아직 보고된 바 없다. 본 연구에서는 실제 송전용 ACSR cable을 대상으로 얼음 간의 주 전단 응력, 파단에너지 등의 결빙특성을 정량적으로 측정할 수 있는 3D 스캔을 활용한 결빙특성 평가시험기를 개발하고, 345kV급 ACSR cable에 대한 결빙특성을 평가결과를 제시하였다. 또한 ACSR cable에 현재 상용화되고 있는 결빙방지 코팅소재를 적용함으로써 코팅소재의 적합성을 ARF(Adhesion reduction factor) 지표를 통해서 비교 평가한 결과를 포함한다.

접지저항 측정에 있어서 전류전극의 최소 이격거리 (Minimized Distance of the Current Electrode in the Measurement of Ground Resistance)

  • 접지저항을 측정하는데 있어서 전류전극의 이격거리는 일반적으로 접지전극으로부터 전류전극에 이르기까지의 직선 구간상에서의 전압강하의 변화 곡선에 소위 평탄 구간이 존재하도록 이격하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나 이러한 전류전극 이격 기준의 문제점은 그와 같은 조건을 만족하기에는 현실적으로 곤란한 측정 현장이 있다는 것이다. 이러한 문제의 보완을 위하여 본 논문은 실험적 측정 데이터를 활용, 분석하여 전류전극 이격거리의 최소 규격을 제시하였다. 분석 결과에 의하면 봉상접지에 대하여는 봉 길이의 2배 이상을, 메쉬접지에 대하여는 한 변 길이의 2배 이상 이격하여야 함을 알 수 있다.

  • Internal combustion engine is the main source of environmental pollutants and therefore better technology is required to reduce harmful elements from the exhaust gases all over the world. Especially, harmful elements from the exhaust gases are caused by incomplete combustion of mixture inside the engine cylinder and this abnormal combustion like misfire or partial burning is the direct cause of the air pollution and engine performance degradation. the object of this research is to detect abnormal combustion like misfire and to keep the engine performance in the optimal operating state. Development of a new system therefore could be applied to a real car. To realize this, the spark-plug in a conventional ignition system is used as a misfire detection sensor and breakdown voltage is analyzed. In this research, bias voltage(about 3kV) was applied to the electrodes of spark-plug and breakdown voltage signal is obtained. This breakdown voltage signal is analyzed and found that a combustion phenomena in engine cylinder has close relationship with harmonic coefficient K which was introduced in this research. Newly developed combustion diagnostic method( breakdown voltage signal analysis) from this research can be used for the combustion diagnostic and combustion control system in an real car.

대용량 PV 어레이의 최적설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimal Design of Large-scale Photovoltaic Array)

  • Recently, a number of large-scale photovoltaic(PV) power generation system has been installed all over the world. Thus, in order to improve the system efficiency, the optimal design of the large-scale PV systems has become an important issue. DC cable loss of PV array is one of the design factors related to the system efficiency. This paper introduces the array design method of a 500kW Photovoltaic power plant. Three types of the PV array are suggested. Also, string cables, sub-array cables and array cables are designed within 1% of voltage drop in the line, and the DC cable losses are analyzed. The results of this paper show that the DC cable loss of large-scale PV array can be reduced by adopting a proper sub-array design method.

  • Near surface transit system has should be constructed as installation cost of light rail transit with elevated track. So, distance between two substations is longer than conventional system. The long feeding distance results in severe voltage drop. This paper proposes a PWM rectifier instead of diode rectifier. The PWM rectifier has some advantages. This is able to control output voltage constantly to reduce voltage drop and to use regeneration power without additional inverter. This paper analyse on improved voltage profile and cost of substation with PWM rectifier. The analysis of voltage profile use PSIM, and the installation cost of substation with PWM rectifier is compared to substation with diode rectifier.

중성선 선로 전압강하를 이용한 단락사고 방지용 보호장치 개발 (Development of Prevention Apparatus for Short-Circuit Faults Using the Line Voltage Drop of Neutral Wire)

  • The major causes of electrical fire are classified to short circuit fault, overload fault, electric leakage and electric contact failure. The occurrence factor of the fire is electric arc or spark accompanied with such electric faults, specially short circuit faults. Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELB) and Molded_case Circuit Breaker (MCCB), that is, Residual Current Protective Devices (RCDs) used on low voltage distribution lines cut off earth leakage and overload, but the RCD can not cut off electric arc or spark to be a major factor of electrical fire. As the RCDs which are applied in low voltage distribution panel are prescribed to rated breaking time about 30ms(KS C 4613), the RCDs can't perceive to the periodic electric arc or spark of more short wavelength level. To improve such problem, this paper proposes a prevention apparatus using the line voltage drop of neutral wire and some semiconductor switching devices. Some experimental tests of the proposed apparatus confirm the validity of the analytical results.

  • 본 논문은 대용량 진력변환장치인 멀티-레벨 인버터 시스템에서 출력 전압가변이 손쉬운 HBML(H-Bridge Multi-Level) 인버터의 Master와 Cell 제어기 구성에 관한 것이다. HBML 인버터는 각각의 단위 Cell을 저압에서 사용하는 인버터로 구성하면, 구조적으로 풀-브릿지(Full-Bridge) 인버터를 캐스케이드 방식으로 연결하여 고압출력을 얻을 수 있는 토폴로지이다. 시스템에서 Master와 Cell의 제어 처리를 한곳에 집중하지 않는 분산 제어 방식을 적용하여 통신 Data를 최적화하도록 구성하고, 이를 바탕으로 두 제어기를 고성능 원-칩(One-Chip) DSP로만 설계하였다. 모든 외부 모듈을 내장한 CPU로 제어기가 구성될 경우, 외부 노이즈에 강하며, 추가되는 하드웨어 결선을 최소화할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 HBML 인버터 출력 생성 시 반드시 요구되는 출력 PWM 동기 및 위상전이(Phase Shift)를 각 제어기 자체에 내장된 모듈만을 이용해서 구현하였다.

순간전압강하에 의한 단상 민감부하 및 삼상 유도전동기의 외란 민감도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Susceptibility of Single-phase Sensitive Loads and the Three-phase Induction Motor by Voltage Sag)

  • In this paper we explore the susceptibility of common sensitive loads by voltage sags of power distribution systems. The experimental approach was used for obtaining the susceptibility of single-phase loads and the three-phase induction motor. The experimental result of single-phase loads was transformed to the ITIC(Information of Technology Industry Council) format and used for evaluating the adverse impacts of a individual and repetitive sags using the performance contour of the foreign standard data. In order to assess the impact of voltage sags on three-phase induction motor, also, the experiment was peformed. The experiment was focused on the current, torque, and speed loss of the motor during a voltage sag. For comparing the impacts of individual and repetitive voltage sags, the variations of motor torque is focused among the experimental results. The sensitive curves of instantaneous current peak are used to describe the susceptibility of three-phase induction motor and 진so it were used for the quantitative analysis of the impact of three-phase induction motor due to voltage sags. Through the results of experiment, we verified that some types loads have more severe impact at repetitive voltage sags than individual ones and proposed method can be effectively used to evaluate the actual impact of voltage sags.

퍼지 모델을 이용한 배전 계통에서의 순간전압강하 평가 방식 (An Assessment Method for Voltage Sag in Power Distribution System using a Fuzzy Model)

  • In this paper, we proposes a method for assessing the effect of voltage sag in power distribution systems using fuzzy model. The proposed method is based on the reliability data of distribution system and specified computer business equipment manufacturer association(SCBEMA) curve that express the representative power acceptability curve by voltage sag for each customer type. The SCBEMA curves are made by using the CBEMA curves obtained from the experiment for the customers sensitive equipment. In order to transform SCBEMA curves to the differential damage by voltage sag, a fuzzy model is used. The proposed fuzzy model is composed to reflect two parameters of customers damage by voltage sag. One is the duration and magnitude of voltage sag and the other is the different risk due to the customer types. The Monte Carlo simulation method and the historical reliability data in KEPCO ae used for case studies.
