Study on the Influence of Online WOM Information Characteristics on the Intention of Information Acceptance and also Re-WOM: Focused on the Receiver's Expertis (온라인 구전정보특성이 정보수용의도와 재구전 의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 수신자의 전문성을 중심으로)

  • An actual analysis was made regarding how different the effect of the online WOM information characteristics on the expansion of the WOM information characteristics was depending on the level of the receiver's expertise in consideration of the sender's expertise, the vividness and Consensus of WOM information which can affect the acceptance of WOM information in this study. To begin with, the analysis results showed that the online WOM information characteristics had the positive effect on the information acceptance intention in proportion to the sender's expertise and the vividness and Consensus of WOM information. Secondly, the information acceptance intention was found to have a positive effect on the re-WOM intention. Finally, the level of receiver's expertise was found to control the effect of the online WOM information characteristics on the information acceptance intention.

Community Child Care Center Workers' Perceptions of Professionalism and Their Job Satisfaction (지역아동센터 종사자의 전문성 인식과 직무만족)

  • This study examines the effects of community child care center workers' perception of professionalism on their job satisfaction. This study conducts a survey of 221 community child care workers in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Gangwon provinces in Korea. Results show that the level of perception of professionalism and job satisfaction are over intermediate. The perception on professional values and ethics are slightly higher than the perception on professional knowledge and skills. The workers are more satisfied with intrinsic job factors such as achievement and responsibility than extrinsic job factors such as compensation and working conditions. Regression analysis reveals that the workers' perception of professionalism is positively associated with both intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction. Based on the findings, this study provides suggestions to enhance the workers' professionalism and job satisfaction, which will contribute the quality of services in community child care centers.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify mainly qualitative characteristics impact on the quality of customer's accounting information to analyze the expertise and the level of accounting system, accounting service worker. This method was conducted in empirical research by the hypothesis based on the survey after examining theoretical background founded on the literature search. As a result, by accounting information systems needed Accounting services worker's professionalism, customer to be served most satisfies faithful representation among the qualitative characteristics and it showed timeliness is low satisfaction. This study will contribute to enhance the recognition and improvement of expertise of the accounting service workers, in the future for improving the quality of accounting information system, discussion will be needed about the contents and method for education and training.

Evaluation of Standing Committees in Korean Assembly: Focusing on Specialization and Representation. (국회 상임위원회의 운영: 전문성과 대표성의 재평가)

  • This paper introduces two concepts, specialization and representation, to evaluate activities of standing committees in Korean Assembly. Previous studies have criticized the committees based on frequent change of committee membership. After analyzing the empirical data of Finance and Economy Committee, it turns out that different from the previous arguments, the committee reaches the high level of activities in the perspective of specialization and representation. Changing of committee membership, after considering direction of the change and period of leaving the committee, is less happened than they are supposed. If voting by proxy or absentee voting were allowed, the frequency of the changing membership would be decreased. Study on Finance and Economy committee reveals that the extent of participation of the committee members is similar to the that of the floor meeting and that the number of participants and hours for each meeting display the characteristics of deliberative democracy of committee. Unanimous decisions outnumber majority ones. Therefore, this paper insists that standing committees in Korean Assembly works much better than what they have been criticized

Elements and Changes of Teacher Expertise for the Science Gifted : Focused on Mathematics and Science Teachers in Science High Schools (고등학교급 과학영재 지도교사의 전문성 요소와 차이: 과학고 수학·과학 교사를 중심으로)

  • In this study, we identified the elements of teachers'expertise for the science gifted in science high school, and examined teacher perceptions of expertise. Through previous studies and expert consultations, 5 categories such as subject knowledge, inquiry teaching, pedagogical knowledge, student guidance and school work were derived. Based on these 5 categories and sub-element, a questionnaire was constructed. Total 284 mathematics and science teachers from 19 science high schools across the country responded to the survey. The desirable level of expertise and current level of responding teachers' own expertise were examined and compared to each other, and group comparisons were accomplished according to teacher career, type of degree and final degree. Some implications are suggested for the professional development for teachers of the science gifted.

Effects of categorization training and expertise on cognitive problem solving (범주화 훈련과 전문성이 인지 문제 해결에 미치는 영향)

  • Present study identified categorization pattern differences between experts and novices and examined whether categorization training has positive effects on problem solving. In experiment I, we examined categorization differences between groups according to expertise using mathematical equation problems. Experts classified problems based on deep structure related to problem solution methods whereas novices classified problems based on surface features. However, in the labeled categorization condition, novices' categorization pattern was not different from experts'. These results suggest that novices have difficulty identifying deep structure of problems. In experiment 2, we examined whether categorization training showing subjects deep structure of problems explicitly increases transfer performance. The results showed that solution training was more effective to expert group whereas categorization training was more effective to novice group. We have discussed that different training methods should be applied according to expertise.

  • The purpose is qualitative study on the search for professionalism in the teaching profession among students who are completing the nursing teaching profession. The participants of this study consisted of 14 students who are completing teaching positions at University H located in S city and University M located in province K. For data collection, a group was formed on the professions of public health teachers, and interviews and self-reports were prepared. The collected data were analyzed by Colaizzi's phenomenological method. As a result of analyzing the professionalism of nursing students' health teachers, 29 meaningful statements were derived from 3 categories, 7 topics, and theme clusters. The three categories were derived as 'recalling the first meeting with the health teacher', 'professional intuition of the public health teacher in the conventional wisdom', and 'professional intuition as a teacher'. The results of this study were provided to understand the professional intuition of public health teachers, and it was possible to confirm the opportunity to have various social participation as nurses. In addition, it is expected that it will be used as basic data for students' career guidance and counseling.

A Study on Improving the Quality of the Assessment Items by Analyzing the Types of Their Modification (평가 문항의 질 향상을 위한 문항 수정 유형 분석)

  • According to the self-assessment tool identifying teacher's competence in assessment, many teachers have difficulty in making assessment tools. This study analyzes the types of modification with data of NAEA(National Assessment of Educational Achievement) items from 2006 to 2008. NAEA goes through complicated formalities from begin to make draft items to completing them. This study shows the types of item modification and its specific examples. NAEA analyzes the degrees of studuents' achievement according to the educational objectives of the National Curriculum. This study provides specific comments on making mathematics assessment items to the teachers who embody national curriculem. Therefore this study will contribute to improve mathematics teacher's professional competence in the area of assessment tool development.

Exploration on the Elements of Teacher's Professionalism in Gifted Education (영재교육 교사 전문성의 구성요소 탐색 연구)

  • It has been said that the level of teacher professionalism determines the quality of education. The same notion allies for gifted education. Therefore, exploration of teacher professionalism in gifted education may provide fundamental bases for raising the quality of gifted education. In this study, first, literature review was conducted to extract elements of teacher professionalism in gifted education and a survey instrument was developed to find out categories of those elements and differences of teacher perception to professionalism at school levels and subject areas of gifted education. Research subjects included 212 teachers who participated in 2005 KEDI teacher training program of gifted education, 60 hour-clock introductory program and 232 teachers who participated in 2005 KEDI teacher training program of gifted education, 120 hour-clock enrichment program. It was found that elements of teacher professionalism in gifted education were categorized into knowledge-based, abilitybased and context-based. It was also found that secondary school teachers' perception to knowledge-based professionalism was significantly higher than those at elementary and science teachers' perception to ability-based and context-based professionalism was significantly higher than mathematics teachers. The research findings may provide insights for better teacher training program in gifted education as well as gifted education policies.
