Physical Properties of Polyester Yarns and Fabrics Treated with Various Heat Temperatures in Dyeing & Finishing Processes (염.가공 공정에서의 열처리 온도 변화에 따른 폴리에스테르 사 및 직물의 물성 변화)

  • 본 연구에서는 sizing을 포함하여 염색.가공 공정에서 습.건열 처리 온도를 변화시켜 처리한 폴리에스테르 필라멘트 사와 직물의 물성 변화에 관한 상관성을 연구하였다. 경사는 50d/24f(spark) 그리고 위사는 75d/72f(semi-dull)사를 사용하여 평직물을 셔틀직기에서 제직하였다. 사이징 공정에서의 건조온도를 $90^\circ{C}$, $125^\circ{C}$, $150^\circ{C}$로 변화 시켰으며 수세공정에서 습열 처리온도는 $90^\circ{C}$, $110^\circ{C}$ 그리고 $120^\circ{C}$로 변화시켰다. 그리고 프리세트 공정에서의 건열 처리온도는 $180^\circ{C}$, $200^\circ{C}$ 그리고 $220^\circ{C}$로 변화시켰다. 마지막으로 최종열처리 공정에서는 $170^\circ{C}$, $180^\circ{C}$ 그리고 $200^\circ{C}$로 각각 변화시켜 이들 직물의 인장, 굽힘, 전단 특성과 이들 직물에서 채취한 실의 탄성계수, 절단강도, 변형률 등을 측정하여 각 공정에서의 열처리 온도 변화에 따라 이들 물성치의 상관성을 검토 비교하였다.

  • The embedded demountable shear connector was developed in preparation for replacement works due to deterioration and damage to the bridge panel of the PSC girder bridge which is a road infrastructure directly related to the safety and convenience of the people. The demountable shear connector minimizes crushing works in the demolition process of the panel, and it is easy to re-construct the shear connector for replacement work. The economic feasibility of the PSC girder bridge using the embedded demountable shear connector compared to the existing construction method was analyzed from the perspective of road users (people) by calculating and comparing the cost of road users caused by traffic blocking during each construction method.

Pass Schedule Design to Inhibit Surface Cracks Generation on Workpiece in Groove Rolling Process (공형압연 공정에서 소재 표면흠 발생억제를 위한 패스 스케줄 설계)

  • We simulated the roughing train of the rod mill of SEAH BESTEEL Inc. using finite element method to inhibit surface cracks initiation on workpiece. We designed 2nd pass (square roll) and applied to this roll in the roughing train of the rod mill. Also, we proposed new pass schedule, which changed roll gap of 3rd and 4th groove by using finite element method. We used shear damage model, which is dependent on shear stress ratio and compared the number of damaged elements on workpiece. A damaged element means surface crack. Consequently, after 2nd pass (square roll) is changed, the error rate decreased by 1.43% when compare to that of the old groove. And the number of damaged elements in the new pass schedule decreased by 37.6%, which is less than present pass schedule.

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the physicochemical characteristics of gelatin extracted from pork skin under soaking in various acid solutions (lactic acid, acetic acid, and citric acid). Gelatin sol was extracted at 8$0^{\circ}C$, frozen at -2$0^{\circ}C$ and lyophilized it for 3 days to be completely dried in freeze drying unit. In the evaluation of gelatin quality, gelatin soaked in citric acid showed higher L- and a-values than those of any other gelatin (p<0.05). Gelatin treated by acetic acid showed the highest gel strength, cohesiveness, and brittleness. The content of hydroxyproline amino acid in gelatin treated by acetic acid was larger than one of gelatin treated in lactic and citric acid in order. From the experimental results, the highest quality of gelatin in all of period, which was soaked in acetic acid and lactic acid, has a more good quality than gelatin soaked in citric acid.

  • Most motor cases adopt deep drawing products, which are excellent in waterproof functions, concentricity, right angle, and quality. In addition, the blower motor and seat motor, which are installed in the car interior and do not require waterproof function, adopts a multi-forming manufacturing method. The deep drawing process requires an expensive transfer press that can digest approximately 12 processes, such as drawing, trimming and piercing. On the other hand, products can be produced with low investment because the multi-forming method is composed of one multi-forming machine or one multi-forming machine and one press. The multi-forming machine is a high-priced facility that is mostly imported and a bending / shearing process multi-foaming machine, which was developed by domestic small and medium-sized enterprises, is not enough to reduce the production cost. An integral multi - forming machine is used as a limited working method for thin material and small products. A large product and thick material has a high shear load. A large product and thick material has a high shear load and uses a single crank press. After blanking, the worker manually feeds the material to a multi-forming machine. When the bending operation is performed in the multi-forming machine, it is transferred to the press again to calibrate the dimensions. This variance in work processes has resulted in lower cost competitiveness due to the lower productivity, quality issues, and excessive operator input. The aim of this study was to establish a stable and cost - effective production system through bending / shearing process separation and facility automation.

Processing optimization of soybean sprouts pre-treatment for manufacturing frozen Kongnamul-Bibimbap product (냉동 콩나물 비빔밥 제조를 위한 전처리 공정 최적화)

  • This study was investigated changes of physical properties of soybean sprout by changing single or combinations of parameters in each manufacturing process. In blanching, use of sugar solution and decrease of blanching time reduced hypocotyl diameter and weight loss of soybean sprouts. However, single application among parameters in pre-treatment did not induce significant changes in soybean sprout during cooking of frozen product. The control process was blanching with water, seasoning with salt and sugar, and adding cooked rice with mixing type. Combinations of parameters, which were blanching with sugar solution, seasoning with sugar, and adding cooked rice with topping type, induced significantly higher shear force values ($592{\pm}21g$), larger diameter ($1.58{\pm}0.14mm$), and less weight loss ($13.4{\pm}3.0%$) of soybean sprouts during cooking of frozen product than those from the control process ($498{\pm}24g$, $1.35{\pm}0.13mm$, and $16.0{\pm}1.7%$, respectively) (p<0.05).

  • This study has been focused on the development of shear forming process of grid for lead-acid battery. The grid plays an important role in the flow of electricity because the grid is a skeleton of the pasted plate. Therefore, it must be of the highest quality to prevent plate failures and then, battery failure, and ensure the best battery performance possible. The finite element analysis of the shear forming process is carried out and the result is compared with the experimental data. The influence of the numerical parameters such as clearance, velocity of punch and critical damage value on the simulation results turns out to be very considerable.

Hadamard Instability of the Doi-Edwards Model in Simple Shear Flow (단순전단유동에서 Doi-Edwards 모델의 불안정성)

  • 본 연구에서 Doi-Edwards 점탄성 조성방정식의 Hadamard 안정성 분석을 행하였 다. Hadamard 안정성은 방정식의 탄성 성질과 연관되는 특성으로 파장이 짧고 진동수가 큰 파동에 의한 외란 하에서 식의 안정성을 의미한다. 먼저 안정성을 위한 일반 3차원 조건을 수립하고 단순한 1차원과 2차원 외란하에서 필요조건을 구하였다. Doi-Edwards 이론을 따 르는 물질의 단순전단유동을 고려함에 의하여 순간 전단변형률이 1.8786을 넘어설 때 파장 이 짧고 진동수가 큰 외란에 의하여 불안정성이 나타남이 증명되었다. 이 안정성의 임계치 는 실제 고분자공정 뿐 아니라 실험실에서도 쉽게 도달할수 있는 값으로 이와 같은 불안정 유동은 mi-crophase separation과 같은 물리적 현상과는 관련이 있다는 증거가 없으므로 조 성방정식 자체가 지니는 수학적 모순점에 기인한 것이라 할수 있다.

  • 기계간 지능형 자율 협업을 기반으로 유비쿼터스 생산시스템을 목표로 하는 u-Manufacturing 시스템은 IT와 기계간 융합을 통해 이를 차세대 생산시스템으로서 기존 단위기계 제어에서 공정상 혹은 운영상 연동이 요구되는 일련의 기계들이 상호정보를 교환하고 이를 근거로 제어가 자율적으로 이루어지는 지능형 제어방식을 근간으로 한다. 본고에서는 이러한 궁극적인 IT기계융합시스템의 내용과 그 전단계에 이루어진 다양한 형태의 IT기계융합사례들을 살펴본다. 특히 정밀 생산 공정이 요구되는 공장에서의 기반기술이라 할 수 있는 초정밀 모션시스템에 있어서의 IT융합기술 대한 내용을 고찰하여 미래 IT융합기술의 발전방향을 전망해본다.
