Study on Crack Resistance Improvement of Epoxy Insulation (Epoxy 절연물의 내크랙성 향상에 관한 연구)

  • Epoxy Compound has been used as insulation material in cable accessories. During the applying voltage to cable, heat shock is induced to accessory by the temperature difference between atmosphere and conductor. In this study, crack resistance, thermal and mechanical properties were evaluated about conventional epoxy compound and rubber toughened epoxy compound. Because rubber absorbs the stress caused by heat shock, crack resistance of rubber toughened epoxy compound is high. In the case of low thermal expansion coefficient, the compound shows high crack resistance because of low volumetric change.

  • The degree of contamination on outdoor insulator is one of the most importance factors to determine the pollution level of outdoor insulations, and the sea salt is known as the most dangerous pollutant. As shown through the preceding study, the generation of salt pollutant and the pollution degree of outdoor insulator have a close relation with meteorological conditions, such as wind velocity, rainfall, and so on. So, in this paper, we have made database using the past meteorological data and ESDD(equivalent salt deposit density) and then we predicted the pollution degree in the future after analyzing currently meteorological data of database.

  • The use of VPI impregnated mica tape as high voltage insulation for large rotating electric machines requires a careful balance of processes and materials to obtain the desired electrical, mechanical and thermal characteristics. The stator insulation systems such as epoxy bonded high voltage mica tape have been produced for many years. One such system employing an epoxy and anhydride impregnating resin developed by Hyundai Heavy Industries, Co. (hereafter, HHI), to satisfy customer requests for an epoxy bonded insulation system. HHI applies the following electrical and thermal evaluations such as dielectric breakdown, voltage endurance, dissipation factor vs. temperature, isothermal weight loss, and so on. A detailed laboratory evaluation can describe specific physical limitations for an insulation system and permit development of long-term operation guidelines that permit full utilization of the proposed system. HHI has found these evaluations very helpful in qualifying insulation system for the repair of both large motors and generators.

  • 변압기에서 단락기계력에 대한 계산 분야는 수직력에 의한 Beam Bending, Tillting, 절연물 압축력과 수평력에 의한 Hoop, Compression 등이 있다. 본 논문은 전력용변압기 내부의 자계를 자기영상법을 이용하여 구하고 계산된 자계를 이용하여 단락 기계력을 구하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 또한 기존 FEM과 자기영상법과의 계산결과를 비교하였다.

  • This paper presents the results of multi-stress chamber experiments done to examine the tracking and erosion performance of polymer insulator. Multi-stress testing is able to demonstrate deficiencies of polymer insulator materials and designs including the nature of interfaces in insulation design. Therefore, multi-stress testing is believed to a suitable test for evaluating the aging performance of polymer insulator designs. We have investigated IEC 61109 Annex C for estimating long time performance of polymer insulator.

  • In recent, the application of polymeric insulators for outdoor is significantly increasing. These materials have shown good performance in service, but had disadvantages under long-term exposure to contamination and moisture, resulting in some problems. Thus, this study concentrated on the development of technique evaluating the insulating status. Experiment was referred to lEC publ. 587, with data aquisition system to monitor leakage current. The components of leakage current investigated were waveform and 3rd harmonic. FFT was conducted for the analysis of harmonic components. The distortion of waveform with application time of voltage was evident, and so the 3rd harmonic component.

  • 송전선로에 절연물로 사용되는 애자는 설치 이후 장시간 사용에 따라 고전압 스트레스, 기계적 스트레스, 열 및 환경 스트레스 등으로 열화가 진행되기 때문에 안정적인 전력설비 운영을 위하여 활건 애자 비파괴 열화 상태 점검이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 비파괴 상태 진단 감시 기술인 주파수 응답 함수 측정을 통한 고유 진동수 분석을 통하여 현재 활선 애자로 사용되고 있는 NGK210, KRI210, NGK300 및 KRI300 4가지 종류 애자의 동특성 실험을 수행하였으며, 이를 통하여 애자의 결함이 발생하였을 때 고유진동수 변화를 분석하였다.

  • The static charges generated at the interface between the insulating oil and the solid materials, can be affected by impurities such as moisture. This paper investigated the charging tendency of clean oil and the oil with moisture in stainless steel pipe. The experimental results show that static electrification of the oil with moisture is smaller than that of the clean oil, and the oil is positively charged.

  • 접지시스템은 인체의 안전을 확보함과 동시에 기기 및 장치의 확실한 동작과 절연 파괴를 방지하기 위한 가장 중요한 시스템이라 할 수 있다. 접지시스템은 전원설비용, 통신설비용, 피뢰설비용 접지로 크게 분류할 수 있으며 사고 발생 시 대지를 통하여 고장 전류를 신속하게 방전함으로서 기준전위를 유지하는 것을 목적으로 하며, 시스템 성능을 최적화하기 위하여 용도에 따라 서로 다른 목적의 접지라도 각 접지시스템을 본딩시켜 등전위를 형성하는 것이 가장 보편적으로 적용되는 설계 개념이다. 본 연구에서는 축소형 GIS 접지시스템의 계획과 시공에 있어서 좁은 지형조건에서 지반 보강용 철근 콘크리트 파일을 건축물 구조체 접지극으로 활용하여 mesh 접지망과 등전위화 함으로써 접지시스템의 효과를 증대 할 수 있는 방안을 제안하고 효과를 검증하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문은 IEEE std 400에서 규정하고 있는 케이블 시험방법 중 Type 1, 파괴시험법(DC, 상용주파 내전압, 그리고 VLF내전압 시험)은 절연물 손상을 발생시키므로 예방진단에 사용될 수 없고 그렇지 않은 Type 2. 비파괴시험법에 대해 주로 소개하였다. 이와 추가하여 한전에서 사용 중인 IRC(Isothermal Relaxation Current) 측정법에 대해 간략하게 소개하고 더불어 IEEE Std 400에서 제시하고 있는 $Tan{\delta}$측정법의 문제점 및 개정 방향을 소개하고, 마지막으로 IEEE Std 400.3의 PD신호의 분석을 통해 결함위치와 열화정도를 평가 진단하는 기법에 대해 서술하고저 한다.
