To make conservative port and coast ecosystems and creative the greenspace, We were investigated with characteristic of flora, environmental factors, types of port, adaptive species, minimum conservation area and plantation model. In 50 sites of study areas, there are 19 families and 174 species of vascular plants and 19 families and 48 species of halophytes. Dominant communities in port ecosystem contains Carex kobomugi community, Elymus mollis community, Carex pumila community, Ixeris repens community, Vitex rutundifolia community, Calystegia soldandlla community, Rosa rugosa community, Lathyrus japonica community, Salsola komarovi community, Cynodon dactylon community, Tetragonia tetragonioides community, Suaeda japonica community, Suaeda maritima community, Zoysia sinica community and Phragmites communis community. We carried out Canonical Correspondence Analysis(CCA) for ordinations on the vegetation and plant communities-environmental variable matrices in 50 sites. The communities tended to cluster into three types: Clay marsh, Sand marsh, Sand gravel marsh types. Adaptive species in habitate types are selected that sand marsh-type communities in ports contained Elymus mollis community, Ixeris repens community, Carex kobomugi community, Carex pumila community, Clay marsh-type communities contained Suaeda japonica community, Phragmites communis community, Zoysia sinica community and Suaeda maritima community, Sand gravel marsh-type communities contained Vitex rutundifolia community, Calystegia soldandlla community. We are conducted the estimation of minimal area for plantation of adaptive plant species and carried out guide line and plantation model for creation of green space in port ecosystem.
This paper discusses nested design models when nesting occurs in treatment structure and design structure. Some are fixed and others are random; subsequently, the fixed factors having a nested design structure are assumed to be nested in the random factors. The treatment structure can involve random and fixed effects as well as a design structure that can involve several sizes of experimental units. This shows how to use projections for sums of squares by fitting the model in a stepwise procedure. Expectations of sums of squares are obtained via synthesis. Variance components of the nested design model are estimated by the method of moments.
This paper discusses how to establish estimable functions when there are fixed and random effects in design models. It proves that estimable functions of mixed models are not related to random effects. A fitting constants method is used to obtain sums of squares due to random effects and Hartley's synthesis is used to calculate coefficients of variance components. To test about the fixed effects the degrees of freedom associated with divisor are determined by means of the Satterthwaite approximation.
This study performed the impact of ecological waterway on fish community in a reach of the Dal River, Korea. Fish monitoring revealed that 9 fish species are dominant, namely Zacco platypus, Coreoleuciscus splendidus, Zacco koreanus, Pungtungia herzi, Acheilognathus yamatsutae, Rhinogobius brunneus, Tanakia signifer, Gobiobotia macrocephala, and Pseudopungtungia tenuicorpus, and account for 95% of the total fish community. The River2D model was used for the computation of the flow and the HSI model for the habitat simulation. The restoration of the waterway performed through the small dam removal, the formation of the pool-riffle structure, and the change of the bed elevation and width. Simulation results indicated that the restoration of the ecological waterway effects significantly increased by about 16% for the WUA (Weighted Usable Area) of the total fish community in optimal ecological flow conditions ($Q=7.0m^3/s$). The restoration of the ecological waterway is more advantageous to fish community.

The purpose of this study is to compare a habitat suitability grid unit included within a radius of 100m and $1km^2,\;2km^2,\;4km^2$ watershed units in order to predict suitable habitats for Chungcheong province's endangered leopard species(Prionailurus bengalensis). Other developed countries have carried out habitat assessment and established management policies for species conservation using such methods as HEP(Habitat Evaluation Procedures), HSI(Habitat Suitability Index) and GAP(Gap Analysis Program), etc. In accordance with these studies, many evaluation methods for habitat conservation have been proposed in Korea, but these studies are lacking in consideration of analytic units and general application of analysis results. This study predicted leopard habitat using a logistic regression analysis according to analytic units by data from 56 location and 8 sources of environmental data, including elevation, slope, forest area, land cover, roads, water, broadleaf trees, and human habitation. Moreover, the habitat suitability assessment unit was confirmed by a model comparison process encompassing model explanation. verification, and application on a regional scale. Results showed that assessment methods that took into consideration areas in and around the location points were beneficial in predicting habitat and that the assessment unit was appropriate for a 30m grid unit including areas within a radius of 100m and a $1km^2$ watershed unit in Chungcheong Province. This study suggests a method for regional habitat conservation to complement existing conservation area selection methods, and the results are expected to be used in conservation area selection and ecosystem management policies for endangered species.

The seasonal and vertical biomass of marine forest seaweeds were examined to select a suitable species at 12 sites of the South Sea in Korea between 2018 and 2019. The Habitat Suitability Index (HSI) was also calculated in terms of biomass for six species (three kelp and three Sargassum species). A total of 16 marine forest-forming species including four kelp and 12 Sargassum species were observed at the 12 sites. The average annual seaweed biomass by season and depth ranged from 843.73-2,925.85 g wet wt. m-2 at the eastern South Sea and from 343.87-4,580.10 g wet wt. m-2 at the western South Sea. In the kelp species, the Ecklonia cava biomass was predominant, followed by E. stolonifera. The macroalgal species with the greatest biomass was Sargassum macrocarpum, followed by S. horneri. The HSI values of E. stolonifera were between 0.76-1.0 at eight sites and those of E. cava were 0.58-0.92 at four sites, indicating that E. stolonifera was more suitable than E. cava. In the HSI values of the Sargassum species, S. horneri ranged between 0.84-1.0 at all 12 sites and the S. macrocarpum values were between 0.68-0.99. The results indicate that E. cava and S. macrocarpum were the most suitable for the marine forest construction in terms of the seaweed biomass, and E. stolonifera and S. horneri in terms of the HSI values. Thus, we suggest that seaweed biomass and HSI values should be considered when choosing suitable forest-forming species.
Tetraselmis is widely used as a live food because of its easy handling, high nutrient, large size and wide tolerant range of temperature and salinity. In order to find the optimum Tetraselmis species for mass culture in Korea, five species of this microalgae were examined on size, optimum culture condition ${\textperthousand}$s, $^{\circ}C.$) and nutrient composition. The results obtained were as follows: Among five species of Tetraselmis, T. sp.(Haeundae) was the largest(major axis $17.6{\pm}1.87^{\mu}$m, mean cell volume 727${\mu}$m), and T. sp. (China) the smallest (major axis $14.6{\pm}1.46^{\mu}$m, mean cell volume 625m). Tetraselmis was very eurythermal and euryhaline species. But optimum temperature and salinity for growth were 24~$30^{\circ}C.$ and 27~30${\textperthousand}$, respectively. Among five species of Tetraselmis, T. sp. (China) seemed to be the most tolerant of high temperature over $30^{\circ}C.$, and T. tetrathele of low temperature below $6^{\circ}C.$. In culture density, T. suecica showed the highest growth rate among the among the five species. The cell density of this microalgae attained to $141{\times}10^4$cells/ml at $24^{\circ}C.$ and 30${\textperthousand}$ within 7 days. In chemical composition, crude protein amount was the highest in T. suecica (44.50%), and crude lipid amount it T. sp. (Haeundae, 7.13%). Total essential amino acid amount was the highest in T. sp. (Haeundae, 50.4%) and total polyunsaturated amount in T. sp. (China, 11.7%) The results on growth and chemical composition of five species of Tetraselmis indicated that T. suecica seemed to be the most suitable species for mass culture in Korea.
This paper discusses how to get the sums of squares due to treatment factors when Type I Analysis is used by projections for the analysis of data under the assumption of a two-way ANOVA model. The suggested method does not need to calculate the residual sums of squares for the calculation of sums of squares. There-fore, the calculation is easier and faster than classical ANOVA methods. It also discusses how eigenvectors and eigenvalues of the projection matrices can be used to get the calculation of sums of squares. An example is given to illustrate the calculation procedure by projections for unbalanced data.
