Index Terms, or keywords, are an important component of research papers because they present a quick overview of the main subjects covered in the research paper by highlighting the most important nouns. In this study, we extracted the author-assigned index terms from KIICE Conference Proceedings dating back to 2018 for seasonal conferences, and 2016 for the international conference (ICFICE). The extracted index terms were standardized and analyzed to gain an understanding of research topic trends and any over or under-represented research topics. This kind of index term analysis is expected to be useful in helping researchers not only identify additional potential topics for their own research, but also aid them in selecting from a common vocabulary of keywords when they assign index terms to their research papers.

This study was conducted to confirm the research trend related to law librarians abroad. To this end, we collected articles about law librarians from abroad and analyzed the author's keywords and abstracts. As a result, it was confirmed that the primary roles of law librarians are legal research service, legal information service, and education service, and discussed topics on the changed roles of law librarians according to changes in the legal research environment and strengthening their expertise. Based on the results, the issues and directions for research about law librarians in Korea were proposed.

연구개발 활동을 지원하는 웹서비스 ScienceON은 논문, 특허, 연구보고서, 정책동향 정보뿐만 아니라 연구에 필요한 다양한 기능과 인프라를 통합적으로 제공하고 있다. 하지만 개인 데스크톱에서 활용이 용이한 검색 중심의 웹서비스는 언제 어디서나 쉽게 학술정보를 활용하고자 하는 사용자 요구를 충족시키기 어려운 문제가 있다. 연구자가 모바일 환경에서 쉽게 학술정보를 이용할 수 있는 환경을 제공하기 위해 본 논문에서는 검색 중심이 아닌, 개인의 관심정보와 논문 저자 식별 기반의 논문 피딩(feeding) 프로세스를 제안한다. 관심 분야 및 키워드 기반의 최신논문과 인기논문을 실시간으로 제공하고, 공저자 네트워크 및 저자 식별정보를 활용하여 최적화된 추천 논문을 제공한다. 또한 논문 중심의 커뮤니티를 제공하여 연구 활동 및 논문에 관한 다양한 의견 교환 채널로도 활용될 수 있다.

Drug addiction or substance use disorder is continuously observed worldwide for its risks and prevalence. In this context, numerous studies have been conducted regarding this issue. However, bibliometric analysis related to drug addiction is insufficient. In particular, it is difficult to find research that utilizes a macro-level bibliographic approach that comprehensively reflects various characteristics related to drug addiction. In this study, to reflect the multidimensional features of drug addiction, research trends in drug addiction in social science, natural science, and multidisciplinary studies were compared and analyzed. This study collected drug addiction research articles from 2002 to 2021 by searching from the Web of Science, and classified academic disciplines based on SCI(E) and SSCI information. Author keyword co-occurrence analysis was also conducted, which provided confirmation that natural science mainly studied psychoactive substances and the reward system in the brain, while drug addiction studies reflecting demographic characteristics were conducted in the domain of social science. In the multidisciplinary field, all of the above topics were covered. Author co-citation analysis was also employed, which showed that there are superstars (i.e., authors who receive a rigorous amount of citation) in the field of natural science, while in the social science domain, authors were highly cited not only at the individual level but also at the institutional level.

The purpose of this study is to investigate knowledge structure of knowledge organization research area in Korea. The study employed content analysis and network analysis to analyze degree centrality, betweenness, and eigenvector as well as frequency of words. It also analyzes research articles published during the period of 2000-2001. The study can be summarized that the network of keywords of knowledge organization researches is compact and complicated. Cataloging and classification play important roles in the network, and metadata and ontology becomes focal areas in knowledge organization. On the other hand, networks of authorships and authors are broad and fragmented. Collaboration is not active enough.

Information behavior (IB) research in LIS and Health Information Seeking Behavior (HISB) in Health Medicine are two subject areas of research that have matured in the past few decades. This research aimed to compare these two research areas using a bibliometric approach. To conduct this study two distinct datasets were created using the Scopus database: a) bibliographic records of IB in the LIS domain, and b) bibliographic records of the HISB domain. The bibliometric analysis was performed according to the following criteria: published papers, citations, journal articles, author keywords, unique words in the title, words preceding "information" in the title, words preceding "study" in the title, and author keywords along with index keywords. As a result, the major differences in the two IB research areas were evident in terms of definitions, main focus, and general demographic groups. These varying types of differences suggest that researchers of the two areas should have flexibility when examining issues related to IB by considering the context and the unique distinction between the two fields.

As time goes by, the amount of data is increasing regardless of government, business, domestic or overseas. Accordingly, research on big data is increasing in academia. Statistics is one of the major disciplines of big data research, and it will be interesting to understand the research trend of statistics through big data in the growing number of papers in statistics. In this study, we analyzed what studies are being conducted through abstract data of statistical papers in Korea and abroad. Research trends in domestic and international were analyzed through the frequency of keyword data of the papers, and the relationship between the keywords was visualized through the Word Embedding method. In addition to the keywords selected by the authors, words that are importantly used in statistical papers selected through Textrank were also visualized. Lastly, 10 topics were investigated by applying the LDA technique to the abstract data. Through the analysis of each topic, we investigated which research topics are frequently studied and which words are used importantly.

Since the 1990s, the growth of the public library program field progressed rapidly at home and aborad as the proportion of programs increased as a major job for public libraries in response to social changes and user demands. However, it is difficult to find a study to grasp the overall research trend in the field of public library programs in Korea. Accordingly, intellectual structure analysis was performed based on keyword profiling to examine research trends in the domestic public library program field. In particular, keyword analysis, network analysis and cluster analysis, and period/year analysis were performed step by step based on the author keywords (uncontrolled keywords) of degree papers and academic journals retrieved from the RISS database. In addition, based on the results of this intellectual structure analysis, the research trends of public library programs were comprehensively reviewed and future research tasks were presented.

This study clarified the intellectual structure of international collaboration in psychiatry based on analyzing networks in order to vitalize for international collaboration in psychiatry in South Korea. The data set was collected from Web of Science citation database during the period from 2009 to 2013. SU="psychiatry" search formulary (means field of psychiatric medical research) was used through advanced retrieval function and a total of 18,590 articles were selected among international collaborations. A total of 85 different keywords were selected from the 18,590 articles, and the results of analysis were as follows. First, this study examined 8 sub-subject areas focusing on disorders, and found that major subject areas could be divided into a total of 8 sub-subject areas. Second, this study examined 6 keywords that have a strong impact, and extend subject areas by promoting intermediation between other keywords Third, this study examined sub-subject areas by using the Knowledge Classification Scheme of the National Research Foundation of Korea through community analysis, and found a total of 15 clusters and a total of 12 sub-subject areas.

This study is a meta-analysis of the articles published over the last 18 years from the first edition of the "International Commerce and Information Review" to December 2016. 1047 papers were published in "International Commerce and Information Review" until 2016. Many articles appeared in the order of electronic trade field, product and service innovation field, regional trade information field, trade law system field, and trade negotiation field. There are more than 15 major fields of authors who have published more than 20 papers."International Commerce and Information Review" is a multi-disciplinary journal by scholars in various major fields. Most of the authors belong to universities and the proportion of papers that receive research grants is 19.7%. 46 authors have published more than 5 papers in "International Commerce and Information Review", and their H-index is 5.6. Influence Index (IF) of the "International Commerce and Information Review" in 2016 is 1.02. The main keywords of the papers published in "International Commerce and Information Review" are e-commerce, Internet, service trade, China, e-trade, Korean Wave, FTA, SME and foreign direct investment.
