A Study on the Reclassification of Author Keywords for Automatic Assignment of Descriptors (디스크립터 자동 할당을 위한 저자키워드의 재분류에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • This study purported to investigate the possibility of automatic descriptor assignment using the reclassification of author keywords in domestic scholarly databases. In the first stage, we selected optimal classifiers and parameters for the reclassification by comparing the characteristics of machine learning classifiers. In the next stage, learning the author keywords that were assigned to the selected articles on readings, the author keywords were automatically added to another set of relevant articles. We examined whether the author keyword reclassifications had the effect of vocabulary control just as descriptors collocate the documents on the same topic. The results showed the author keyword reclassification had the capability of the automatic descriptor assignment.

Study on Potential Utility of Wind Power Generation Based on Driving Wind of High-Speed Trains (고속철도 열차 주행풍의 풍력발전 활용성에 대한 연구)

  • We investigated the potential for wind-power generation using the wind produced by express trains. We built equipment to detect the wind velocity, including wind meters and a data analyzer. We considered various conditions that might change the wind. First, we measured the velocity and duration of the wind at three locations distinguished by the presence of a tunnel and a valley landscape. We analyzed the changes in the wind according to the geometric conditions. Also, we analyzed the changes in the wind according to three different heights relative to the train. We also compared the wind produced by a KTX train and an SRT train. Finally, we used the results to derive the wind power energy harvested from the wind and discuss the expected utility.

Construction of Low Magnetic Standard System using a Multi-layer Solenoid with Single-current (단전류-다층 솔레노이드 방법을 사용한 저자장 표준시스템 제작)

  • The magnetic field standard below 1 mT with the resolution of 0.26 nT has been established. Earth magnetic field (EMF) is compensated automatically down to 0.1 nT/10 min. by a closed feedback system with Cs optical pumping magnetometer and 3-axis Helmholtz coils in nonmagnetic facilities. A multi-layer precision solenoid with the optimized single-current method generates the uniform magnetic field better than 1.0$\times$10$\^$-7/ within $\pm$ 1 cm region at its center. The coil constant of solenoid determined from Helium optical pumping magnetometer is 1.231 058 9 mT/A, and temperature coefficient is 0.38 nT/$\^{C}$. This standard system is used for calibration of low field magnetometers and testing relates to low field.

  • The low magnetic field standard below 1 mT with resolution of 100 nT has been established for the calibration and testing of low field magnetometers. A precision single layered solenoid, which is made of quartz tube and bare copper wire, was constructed in order to generate a precise magnetic field. To improve the field homogeneity in the solenoid, three-current method was employed. The injected current and injection points on the solenoid were optimized by computer simulation. The magnetic field uncertainty in the solenoid was 0.1 % and 0.01 % in the range of ${\pm}5\;cm$ from the center for a single and three-current methods respectively. We also constructed a testing system for the dynamic properties of low field magnetometers.

An Analysis of Nationality Diversity by Journal Editors and Authors Using Diversity Index: Focusing on International Journals of Library and Information Science (다양성 지수를 활용한 학술지 편집위원과 저자의 국적 다양성 분석 - 문헌정보학 분야 국제학술지를 중심으로 -)

  • This study analyzed the national diversity of journal editors and authors, focusing on international journals in library and information science, and quantified it through Simpson's Diversity Index. In addition, LIS journals were clustered according to diversity indicators and their characteristics were analyzed, and it was also confirmed whether nationality diversity of editorial members could induce nationality diversity of authors. As a result of the analysis, first, the diversity index of the editors of the LIS (Library & Information Science) international journal was found to be 0.64, which is less than the diversity of the authors, which is 0.76. It was confirmed that as the diversity of nationalities among editorial committee members increases, it is possible to attract authors of various nationalities (r = .79). Second, journals in the IS (Information Science) field showed a high index before or after 0.8 for both editorial members and author contributing countries, but those in the LS (Library Science) field showed relatively low scores, especially among the editorial members, with a very low index of 0.48. Third, the United States has the highest share of both authors and editors, and in particular, it has been confirmed that the LS field has an overwhelming share of 53.39% of editors. On the other hand, in Asian countries, including Korea, the ratio of contributions as editors compared to contributions as authors was found to be lower than in the United States and European countries.

  • In recent years, Linked Data that is published under an open license shows increased growth rate and comes into the spotlight due to its interoperability and openness especially in government of developed countries. However there are relatively few out-links compared with its entire number of links and most of links refer a few hub dataset. These occur because of absence of technology that identifies entities in Linked data. In this paper, we present an improved author entity resolution method that using representative properties. To solve problems of previous methods that utilizes relation with other entities(owl:sameAs, owl:differentFrom and so on) or depends on Curation, we design and evaluate an automated realtime resolution process based on multi-ontologies that respects entity's type and its logical characteristics so as to verify entities consistency. The evaluation of author entity resolution shows positive results (The average of K measuring result is 0.8533.) with 29 author information that has obtained confirmation.

Analysis of Low Field Microwave Absorption Properties in CoFe/MnIr Thin Film (CoFe/MnIr 박막 재료에서 저자장 마이크로파 흡수 특성 분석)

  • We measured the low field microwave absorption (LFMA) and ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) signals at various magnetic field angle in exchange biased CoFe/MnIr thin film. The LFMA signals were dominantly related to the magnetization rotation process. In order to analyze the LFMA signal, we calculated transverse magnetization ($M_{\tau}$) and permeability (${\mu}_{\tau}$) for CoFe/MnIr thin film by using S-W model, which magnetic parameters of exchange bias ($H_{ex}$ = 58.5 Oe) and uniaxial anisotropy field ($H_k$ = 30Oe) was obtained from FMR signals. The LFMA signal at hard axis showed similar behavior compared with that of $M_{\tau}$. As the magnetic field angle approach to the perpendicular to hard axis, the LFMA signals were depending on both of $M_{\tau}$ and ${\mu}_{\tau}$.

Research Trends Analysis of Published Papers in the Journal of Korean Ophthalmic Optics Society (한국안광학회지 게재논문의 연구동향 분석)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the research trends of Ophthalmic Optic by targeting the papers published in the Journal of Korean Ophthalmic Optics Society and serve it as a basis for future researches. Methods: This study was conducted through a statistical analysis of the general characteristics, researcher characteristics, research characteristics and the research trends from total 990 papers, from the first issue to the last issue in 2014, published in the Journal of Korean Ophthalmic Optics Society. Results: Most common number of the authors of the published papers were two or three, respectively 26.8%. Most of the lead authors belong to the schools in Jeolla-do province (31.3%). Most of the educational system of which lead authors belong to is four-year-course system (43.0%). Most common research methods were optometric tests (40.9%). The most common subjects of researches are about the field of optometry (29.8%). The study shows that there were significant differences in the research methods depending on the school systems of the universities to which the lead authors belong (p=0.000). There also were significant differences in the school systems of the universities to which the lead authors belong, and research methods depending on the research subjects (p=0.000). There were meaningful differences according to the period divisions (1996 to 2004 and 2005 to 2014), i.e. the number of authors has been growing, and it is the same case for the number of the authors who belong to four-year-course universities (p=0.000). The number of papers on optometry and contact lenses have increase. The benefits of the research funds have also increased (p<0.005). In addition, the number of the lead authors in the Seoul and Chungcheong province have increased (p=0.000). Conclusions: For the development of the Ophthalmic Optics, it is necessary to broaden the stratum of researchers and deal with various research topics, And joint efforts between eyewear industry and academia and international cooperations are needed.

  • 이 연구에서는 고압 호스에서의 파속 데이터에 기초한 새로운 맥동류 해석법을 제안한다. 이어서, 저자가 제안한 고압 호스에서의 파속 측정법인 "3개 압력 변환기를 갖는 폐쇄 출구 도관법"을 사용하여 자동차 동력 조향 장치용 레조네이터 호스 각 부품에서의 파속 데이터를 계측해둔다. 최종적으로 몇 개의 연구 대상 레조네이터 호스에 대한 압력 맥동 감쇠 특성 실험 및 시뮬레이션을 수행한다. 그 결과로부터, 제안한 압력 맥동 전파 특성 해석법의 타당성을 검증한다.

  • Co-Authorship analysis is a kind of bibliometric analysis. and a well established tool for character of knowledge network in some technical fields. If more than two authors co-author an article, there is a relation of knowledge. So This study aims at discovering the trends and phases of OLED technology using co-authorship analysis, a kind of bibliographic analysis. The Science Citation Index Expanded(SCIE) database was used to search for the number of times paired Korean articles were co-authored in OLED field.
