  • 최근 전기전자기기, 통신기기 및 전동기 구동장치 등에서 사용되는 전력변환장치의 전력용 스위칭 소자의 사용 증가와 관련하여 고조파 저감 및 역률개선에 대한 관심이 증가되고 있다. 유럽 및 미국에서 규정하고 있는 전력변환장치에 대한 고조파 저감 및 역률개선에 대한 규격을 고찰하고 전력변화장치에 대한 입력 전원의 고조파 저감 및 역률개선 기술에 대하여 서술하였다

  • 경유자동차는 연료 특성상 매연을 포함한 입자상물질을 다량 배출하고 있으며, 이러한 디젤입자상물질은 인체에 유해한 발암성 및 돌연변이원성 물질들을 함유하고 있기 때문에 호흡 등을 통한 인체 유입시 건강에 매우 유해하다. 그러므로 디젤입자상물질을 저감시키기 위한 여러 가지 기술들 중 발생된 배출가스가 배기관을 통해 대기중으로 배출되기 전에 엔진 연소실과 배기관 사이에 후처리장치와 같은 기술들을 이용하여 이를 저감시키고 있다. 본 연구에서는 후처리장치들 중 세라믹필터에 백금과 같은 산화성이 우수한 촉매를 코팅하여 만든 촉매식 매연여과장치(DPF ; diesel particulate filter, SK제공)를 사용하였을 때 입자저감성능 및 입자크기별 분포특성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 통해 도시대기오염 저감대책을 기초자료 및 환경학적, 보건학적 연구에 적극 활용하고자 한다. Performance analysis for reduction facility of nonpoint source pollutant (비점오염원 저감장치의 성능분석)

  • This study aims at development and application of a facility that is capable of reducing pollution in water quality by reducing nonpoint source pollutants (NPSP). NPSP originated from the initial rainfall caused not only large catchment of urban area pass a river but also small watershed pass a stream. For this purpose, the performance tests carried out with the field models from the facility based on the preceding study. And the tests induced reduction efficiency of biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), total nitrogen (T-N) and suspended solid (SS), respectively. The average reduction efficiency obtained by time interval, and the result showed an excellent reduction performance. As a result, the facility satisfied reduction efficiency of NPSP of the proposed standard by the National Institute of Environmental Research, and thus it can be used in practical applications.

  • In this study, for research on an improvement of the seismic safety of an EDG system, a small scale EDG system was manufactured. For the isolation system, the Coil Spring-Viscous Damper systems were selected. For the shaking table test, 3 kinds of seismic motions were selected which had different frequency contents. In this study, the isolation effects were different and they depended on the input seismic motion. In the case of an NRC earthquake which had low fiequency contents, the isolation effects of the horizontal direction were 20%. But for the seismic motions which had high fiequency contents, the isolation effects were $50{\sim}70%$. In the case of the vertical direction, poor isolation effects were observed. It was because the design properties and the real properties of the isolation system were a little different.

  • Pyrotechnic shock or pyroshock is characterized as a transient vibration phenomena which shows large acceleration and high frequency range up to 10kHz during the operation of separation devices where explosives are used. During the flight of a launch vehicle, pyro-shock is mainly generated at several events such as satellite separation, fairing separation and stage separation. In this paper, characteristics of pyroshock are introduced briefly, and PEEK washer shock absorber is applied for the reduction of pyroshock in the high frequency range. With some electronic devices, reduction characteristic of pyroshock using washer type shock absorber are studied. Random vibration tests are also performed for the verification of vibrational characteristics.

  • 최근 도시화 및 산업화의 발달로 불투수면적이 증가함에 따라 건기 시 토지 표면에 축적된 오염물질이 강우유출수와 함께 하천으로 유출되는 등 수질오염의 가중과 불특정 지역에서 발생하는 비점오염원의 집중관리가 필요한 실정이다. 우리나라는 환경기초시설 등의 건설로 점오염원 관리는 강화되었지만, 비점오염원의 부하량은 점차 증가되고 있는 추세이며, 환경부 및 관계부처에서는 비점오염관리를 위한 여러 정책을 추진 중에 있다. 국내에서 사용하고 있는 비점오염저감장치는 자연형 시설과 장치형 시설로 구분되는데, 이 중 장치형 시설은 필터를 사용하여 비점오염저감의 효율성을 증가시키지만, 필터를 사용함으로써 유지관리 및 경제적인 측면에서 매우 불리하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 필터가 없는 장치형 시설을 고안하여 자연 순환기능을 최대한 유지하고, 오염물질을 최적으로 제거할 수 있는 방안을 마련하고자 수리실험을 통해 비점오염원의 제거효율을 분석하였다. 수리학적 상사법칙에 따라 원형대비 1/3축소모형과 2가지의 원형모형에 대해 총 3가지 모형에 대해 환경부에서 고시한 비점오염저감장치 기준을 뛰어넘는 유역면적, 강우강도 및 부유물질의 양으로 실험을 진행하였다. 실험결과는 유입수 농도에 대한 유출수의 농도로 계산하였으며, 장치에서 유출 직후 5분 간격으로 채취한 후, 수질공정시험법을 참고하여 부유물질에 대한 실험 중 하나인 유리섬유여과방법을 이용해 실험 결과를 도출하였다. 실험 결과, 본 연구에서 고안한 장치형 시설은 필터를 사용하지 않음에도 불구하고 환경부 기준인 부유물질 제거효율 80%이상을 만족한 것으로 나타나 현재 사용하고 있는 장치형 시설보다 유지관리 및 경제성 등이 우수할 것으로 기대된다.

  • 추진장치는 차량의 안전에 큰 영향을 주는 핵심 장치로 철도 선진국들은 이 장치의 크기 및 무게 저감, 스위칭 소음과 노이즈 저감 등에 대한 연구를 활발히 수행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 한국형 틸팅열차용 주전력변환장치 역행시험결과를 통해 제작된 추진장치의 성능이 양호함을 확인하였다.

A Study on Optimization of Noise Reduction of Auxiliary Power Unit for Military Tracked Vehicle (군용 궤도장비 보조동력장치의 소음저감 최적화 연구)

  • Noise reduction is an important issue in auxiliary power unit(APU) of tracking equipments for using military. In this study, we designed and tested reduction methods of structure borne noise and airborne source noise at the auxiliary power unit. From the bench test results, it is found that the effect of noise reduction is about 22 dB(A) if the silencer is redesigned, which is the rescue structure. However, the influence of noise reduction by air is insufficient. In addition, it is confirmed that the effect of noise reduction is excellent when structure borne noise reduction is applied to the vehicle. We expected that the test results of this study are used as basic data to reduce the noise of other tracking equipment developed later.

Method for Increasing Stability by Reducing the Motion of a Lightweight Floating Body (경량 부유체의 운동 저감으로 안정성 증가방법에 관한 연구)

  • Demand for leisure facilities such as mooring facilities for berthing leisure vessels and floating pensions based on floating bodies is increasing owing to the rapid growth of the population and related industries for marine leisure activities. Owing to its relatively light weight as a fluid, inclination is easily generated by waves and surcharges flowing to the coast, resulting in frequent safety accidents because of the low stability. As a solution to this problem, a motion reduction device for floating bodies is proposed in this study. The device (motion reduction device based on the air pressure dif erence) was attached to a floating body and the effect was analyzed by comparing the results with those of a floating body without motion reduction. The effect analysis was further analyzed using a computer analysis test, and the method for increasing the stability of the floating body was studied, and its the effect was verified. Based on the analysis of the test results, the stability of the floating body increased with a motion damping device is higher than that of the floating body without a motion reducing device as the wave momentum reduces, owing to the air pressure difference. Therefore it was concluded that the use of such a device for reducing motion a floating body is useful not only for non-powered ships but also for powered and semi-submersible ships, and further research should be conducted by applying it to various fields.

A Study on the Performance Characteristics of an Energy Saving Unit in a Hydraulic Elevator (유압식 엘리베이터 에너지 저감장치의 성능특성에 관한 연구)

  • In a traditional hydraulic elevator, elevator car is descended by down control valve, and the oil hydraulic energy must be lost during the descending stroke. In this paper, the performance characteristics of the hybrid type energy saving unit, is used to save the hydraulic energy which is lost during the descending stroke, for a hydraulic elevator are studied. The energy can be reused as the auxiliary power. The results show that the performance characteristics, such as the pressure, flow rate, output current and voltage, efficiency, and the energy recovery rate of the unit are stable and good as the energy recovery rate is 54%, and the energy saving unit is useful to reuse the saved energy during the descending stroke of elevator car. Also, it was confirmed that the energy saving unit can be deployed on a commercial scale.
