This study aims to review what geographers have contributed to GIS industries and national needs. To-be-geographers and geographers are expected to meet the gap between what we have teamed in school and what we have to do after graduation. The characteristics of GIS industry in the 1990 are summarized with approximate evaluation of the contribution of geographers in each stage. Author introduced the requirement for the licenses of geomatics and geospatial engineering experts and the other licenses, which are important to get a job in GIS industry from 2003 to 2004. A set of questionnaire on the user's requirements was given to GIS people in private companies and public GIS research centers and analyzed. Author found that they put an emphasis on hands-on experiences and programming skills. no advantages or geography such as capability or integration and inter-disciplinary collaboration were not appreciated. The prospects for the GIS tend to be positive but the reflectance of the prospect was not accompanied by at the same degree of preference for geography. Most government strategies for the next ten years' GIS focus on new-growth leading industries. SWOT(strength, weakness, opportunity, threat) analysis of geography for GIS industry will give some directions such as telematics, regional marketing strategies with web-based GIS technology, location based service. That means intra-disciplinary study in geography will evoke the potentiality of GIS, compared with interdisciplinary studies.

We have analyzed the torque signals measured in synthetic antiferromagnetic (SAF) coupled CoFeB/Ru/CoFeB thin film, which signals were drastically changed at flopping field ($H_F$) and saturation field ($H_s$). The minimum value of negative uniaxial anisotropy constant ($-\;K_1$) was appeared at HF. The $-\;K_1$ was due to the zero net magnetization by the antiferromagnetic coupling between two ferromagnetic layers. Whereas, the biaxial anisotropy constant (K2) was induced in the field range of $H_F$ < H < $H_s$. The induced $K_2$ was originated from deviation angles between magnetization directions of two ferromagnetic layers. And at H > $H_s$, intrinsic uniaxial anisotropy constant of CoFeB layer was observed. These change of the anisotropy constant with magnetic field was explained by the magnetization process of two ferromagnetic layers based on Stoner-Wohlfarth model calculation for SAF thin film.

The purpose of this study aimed to analyze factors on motives to tree burial and choice conditions to tree burial site in order to suggest policy direction for the desirable settlement of tree burial. For those purpose, this study performed questionnaire, targeting 522 visitors of funeral hall all around Korea. As the result, the factors of motives to tree burial were extracted as follows: funeral ceremony progressed along with trees, simplicity, memorial site's easy insurance, environmental friendliness and consideration toward descendants. The factors on choice conditions to tree burial sites were extracted as follows: beauty of natural scenery, emotional mood as a memorial site, convenience, stability and economic feasibility. Based on the results of factor analysis, this study suggested policies related to motives to tree burial as follows: develop various types of tree burial sites, develop a funeral ceremony suitable for tree burial, come into wide use of tree burial as a social welfare service, develop tree burial methods capable of many burials, and improve professionalism to manage tree burial system. In addition, this study proposed related choice conditions to tree burial sites as follows: establish natural forest scenery, convert existing graveyards into tree burial sites, select easily accessible places for tree burial sites, form tree burial sites as places for both rest and memory, and reduce using fee of tree burial site.

Various types of disease in the nervous and musculoskeletal system can change gait, and the gait analysis is very important in determining the progression of the disease. Most methods of analyzing gait are subject to high-priced equipment and spatial restrictions. This study used smart phone images and the walking track analysis program to make a comparative analysis with the existing gait analysis on the basis of the stride length measurements and the changes in the knee joint angle for walking. The test necessary to analyze gait was conducted in seven healthy men, and data about the angle of right and left knee joints and stride length were used to analyze gait. The gait analysis in this study obtained the similar results to the existing ones. The use of the methods suggested in this study will enable gait analysis to be made without high-priced equipment and spatial restrictions.
