Objective : This study was conducted to investigate the stress, anxiety, depression, and quality of life that parents of children with disabilities have according to their general characteristics and determine the correlation between stress, anxiety, depression, and quality of life. Methods : The subjects were 242 parents of children with disabilities under the age of 13 receiving treatment at rehabilitation centers for the disabled, rehabilitation hospitals, and child development centers located in D, B, and U metropolitan cities. Results : According to the result of analyzing the correlation between stress, anxiety, and depression that the parents of children with disabilities felt and the quality of their lives, the quality of their lives correlated negative with their stress, anxiety, and depression. In the case of the results according to the parents' general characteristics, stress showed a significant difference depending on the education level, monthly income, and anxiety showed a significant difference depending on child rearing time, occupation, and public transportation. Additionally, depression and the quality of life had a significant difference depending on child rearing time, education level, occupation, and monthly income. Conclusion : The results of this study identified the importance of the mental health of the parents of children with disabilities and the correlation between their mental health and quality of life. Social distancing and quarantine rules that children with disabilities must follow have limited their opportunities to receive education and treatment, so the influence of stress, anxiety, depression that the parents of children with disabilities who should continue to take care of their children should be considered. Based on these results, it is necessary to develop support services for the parents of children with disabilities for enhancement in their mental health in preparation for other disasters in the future.

The purpose of this research is to analyze requirements for sports for all of the intellectually handicapped and their characteristics. Subjects for this study consisted of 33 undergraduate students who belonged to the department of physical education in P University. The Q-population a total of 28 people were selected including 16 handicapped college students from P welfare center and 12 members from the vocational adjustment class. The card used in Q sort was 27 categories of sports for all suggested by the korea Paralympic Committee. The result of Q-sorting were coded and analysed using QUANL pc program. According to the research result, Firstly, the requirement types of sports for all of the intellectually handicapped revealed to be four types(The eigen values of the five types of attitudes are 5.6, 2.3, 1.9, and 1.7): Secondly, the characteristics for each five types were determined to be experiential-value Pursuing type(type 1), interest-value pursuing type(type 2), purpose0orientation pursign type(type 3) and Safety-oriented pursuing type(type 4). Through the characteristics of each of the five types. Such results of the research suggest that the demand of the mentally ills for sports for all can be diverse and there can be a variety of types based on the background factors.

The effects of therapeutic instrumental music performance (TIMP) using a ukulele were examined in adults with central nervous system damage and impaired hand functions. The participants were three adults with neurological damage who participated in 30-min sessions twice a week over 6 weeks. Changes in hand function was measured by the Box and Block Test (BBT), the 9-Hole Peg Test (9-HPT), and the Jebsen-Taylor Hand Function Test (JTHFT). Following the intervention, all three participants showed increases in the BBT and 9-HPT scores, indicating positive changes in fine motor coordination and dexterity. In terms of the JTHFT, all three participants showed increases in the "writing" and "card flipping" subtask scores, indicating that the intervention was effective in improving more coordinated finger movements. All participants reported the satisfaction with the intervention. They also pointed out that they were motivated to play the ukulele and that following the intervention used their affected hand more frequently in daily activities. These findings suggest that TIMP with a ukulele for patients with central nervous system damage can have positive effects on their functional hand movements and motivate these patients to practice their rehabilitation exercises.
