The purpose of this study is to explore ways for students to connect conceptual and procedural knowledge in mathematical modeling lessons. Accordingly, we selected the greatest common divisor among the learning contents in which elementary school students have difficulties connecting conceptual and procedural knowledge. A mathematical modeling lesson was designed and implemented to solve problems related to the greatest common divisor while connecting conceptual and procedural knowledge. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the mathematical modeling lesson had positive effects on students solving problems by connecting conceptual and procedural knowledge. In addition, through actual class application, a teaching and learning plan was derived to meaningfully connect conceptual and procedural knowledge in mathematical modeling lessons.
Previous studies from domestic and abroad are accumulating information on how to reason students' continuous changes through teaching experiments. These studies deal with scenes in which students who make 'smooth reasoning' and 'chunky reasoning' construct mathematical results together in teaching experiments. However, in order to analyze their results in more detail, it is necessary to check what kind of results a student reasoning in a specific way constructs for the tasks of previous studies. According to the need for these studies, the researcher conducted a total of 14 teaching experiments on one first-year high school student who was found to make 'chunky reasoning'. In this study, it was possible to observe a scene in which a student who makes 'chunky reasoning' constructs an output similar to 'a mathematical result constructed by students with various reasoning methods(smooth reasnoning or chunky reasoning) in previous studies.' In particular, the student who participated in this study observed a consistent construction method of constructing the function of 'time-speed' from the function of 'time-distance'. The researcher expected that information on this student's distinctive construction methods would be helpful for subsequent studies.

Recently, the patterns of climate change-induced disasters have become more diverse and extensive. To develop an effective flood control plan, Korea has incorporated the concept of Potential Flood Damage (PFD) into the Long-Term Comprehensive Water Resources Plan to assess flood risk. However, concerns regarding the PFD have prompted numerous studies. Previous research primarily focused on modifying and augmenting the PFD index or introducing new indices. This study aims to enhance the existing flood control safety evaluation method by utilizing a flood risk map that incorporates risk indices, specifically focusing on the Yeong-Seomjin river basin. The study introduces three main evaluation approaches: risk and potential analysis, PFD and flood management level analysis, and flood control safety evaluation. The proposed improved evaluation method is expected to be instrumental in evaluating various flood control safety measures and formulating flood control plans.

In many cases, fishing vessels operate on a schedule that leads to departure, sailing to the fishing spot, fishing, and sailing to the port of return. Consequently, most of the captains of fishing vessels operated on a single-person navigation duty system rarely have time to rest, resulting in frequent accidents owing to drowsy operation. In addition, accidents frequently occur when a tired captain leaves his duty to an unqualified seaman who does not have the basic knowledge of navigation and sleeps in the bedroom. This problem has been discussed for a long time; however, it has not been solved yet because of lack of proper countermeasures. As a measure to reduce these accidents, this article proposes a certification system for navigational-duty crew of fishing vessels.
A series of experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of the level of dietary Protein (soybean meal) and carbohydrate (sucrose) on the growth rate, feed efficiency, nutrients digestibility and amylase activity of larvae at 5th instar. The results obtained from the experimentation are summarized as follow: (1) It was found that the body weight gain, cocoon quality and feed efficiency of the 5th instar larvae were significantly affected by the level of protein and carbohydrate in the artificial diet. Present data revealed that the proper level of dietary protein and carbohydrate would be the most important factor for the optimum growth of larvae. (2) In the amount of diet consumption, the group of larvae gained more body weight consumed more diet than the group gained less amount of body weight. (3) Digestibility of nutrients was improved as the level of protein in the diet increased, although the level of dietary carbohydrate did not exert any positive results. (4) It was observed that the amylase activity in digestive juice was stimulated by the increasement of dietary carbohydrate. However, no correlation between the level of dietary protein and carbohydrate was detected in the amylase activity. (5) Analytical data indicated that the amount of protein or carbohydrate excreted through feces and urine was proportional to the content of protein or carbohydrate in artificial diet. The group o( larvae consumed the diet contained high protein excreted more protein and less nitrogen free extract than did the group received low protein diet. Likewise, the group of larvae fed high dietary carbohydrate excreted more nitrogen free extract and less protein through excreta than the group consumed low carbohydrate diet group. (6) Although the amylase activity of the larvae received the artificial diet was higher than the larvae received natural diet (mulberry leaf), the rate of body weight gam and the quality of cocoon produced from the natural diet group was better than the artificial diet group. It is, thus, concluded that feeding the larvae by the artificial diet may net be recommendable. (7) It was determined that the best level of protein (soybean meal) and carbohydrate (sucrose) in artificial diet was found to be 40g and 0g, respectively when it was fed to the 5th instar larvae. (8) It may be concluded from the results obtained that the artificial diet that could stimulate the activity of amylase nay not be recommendable for the practical larvae feeding Purpose due simply to the Poor economic return from this diet than natural diet.
Purpose: To provide the basic data in developing the nursing intervention for patients who have symptoms of insomnia after undergoing hemopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). This was achieved through investigating sleep quality and sleep patterns according to admission time, and discharge time. Methods: Data was put together by studying 52 HSCT patients who have been admitted to the department of HSCT from August 2002 to August 2003, in a university hospital. Research instruments used were, PSQI for sleep quality and a specified questionnaire for sleep patterns. Results: The PSQI regarding the past mono which was measured at the last day of hospitalization, was 11.8. This was significantly higher than 5.3, which was a measurement for the past month before the hospitalization (t=11.41, P=0.000). Looking at it with 7 categories-quality of sleep, consistency of sleep, sleep period, effectiveness of sleep, sleeping disorder, usage of sleeping pills, impediment of daily life- the PSQI for a month after admission increased significantly compared to the rate measured for a month before admission. Comparing the subjects sleep pattern before and after admission, it showed a significant difference regarding time attending sleep, time it takes to sleep, wake-up time, total time of sleep, day time sleep, number of times waking up during sleep, number of usage of sleeping pills, actions that are taken during sleep disorder, reasons for insomnia. Conclusion: The PSQI score of patients who undergo hemopoietic stem cell transplantation have increased significantly after hospitalization. Compared to the change of sleep patterns when hospitalized, significant changes were observed. Therefore nursing interventions addressing sleep are needed.
This research was intended to make the writer and the written times of "Dongyi Suse Bowon Sasang ChobonGuen" clear. In order to find out effects of the generative power of silk worm moth which have been brought up in the high temperature accommodation at their pupa stage. For this specific study, 9 different kinds of male silk worms have been selected as specimen. All those specimen were brought up in the normal temperature at their larvae stage and after the pupation period they have been accommodated in the condition of high temperature for a certain length in accordance with the study programme. Afterwards, those mlae specimen were copulated with Suwon jam 103${\times}$104 which were all brought up in normal conditions. This study was carried out to find the copulation function as well as the ratio of unfertilized eggs(male sterility test). Results of study have been revealed as follows: 1) Although some differences were observed, male pura which have been brought up in the condition of high temperature shown the low rate of unfertilized eggs rather than those were brought up in the normal conpition. 2) In this group the eclosion(emergency) has been found to be poor rather, than those specimen brought up in normal conditions. 3) The copulation function of Moran, Daedong, J124 and C108 specimen were found to be poor than those of Suwon jam. 4) Fertility rate of Moran, Daedong, J124 and C108 was found to be around 65%. This figure is rather lower than what we normally expect. 5) Unfertilized egg ratio of Moran, Daedong and C108 were found to be around 20% if they were brought up in the condition of high temperature for one day from the time of pupation: 40% at 2 days, and 70% at 3 days duration. More than 3 days treatment has shown no progress in the unfertilized egg ratio. 6) One day's treatment for the pupa at the later stage has shown the unfertilized egg ratio of about 10%; 20% at 2 day's treatment, 35% at 3 day's treatment, 40-60% at 4 day's treatment, more than 60% at 5 day's treatment, and the 70% of fertilized egg ratio was only observed when the treatment days come to 7 days. It was understood that the unfertilized egg ratio was high at the antepupa stage rather than that of post-pupa stage. 7) According to the result of observation the sperm in copulatory pouch and seminal receptacle out of the normal female silk worm which have been copulated with the male brought up in the condition of high temperature at their moth stage. The reproduction system found in the control zone has been found to be normal and the sperm is amountful and active in motion while the sperm found in the treatment to be limited in amount and slow in motion. The observation was made within 5 hours from the copulation. 8) According to the result of observation of sperm of seminal receptacles of the female silkworm moth, and according to that observation of sperm in the seminal receptacle in female silkworm moth, the amount of sperm and mobility in the female moth brought up in high temperature were poor comparing that were brought up in normal temperature zone. Some of them are even found to be no trace of such. 9) Appearance and mosle of the copulatory organ of the male silkworm moth was found to be no anatomical change. 10) Testis of the later pupa stage which was brought up in the high temperature was found to be almost net developed to anucleate sperm and they are degenerated at stage of between maturation division and sperm abnormal stage. Mean time at control zone, the formation of anucleate sperm was already observed.
This will be second publication regard with silkworm selection using anesthetic followed by previous report. This treatise investigated for nacorsis recovery concerned with silkworm health through more directions than the previous paper. After the author has found a possibility of silkworm seperation through nacorsis recovery, he has recommended to use Balance Health (BH) value system to evaluate or identify silkworm health and to produce better homogeneous silkworm eggs. Also, the author has continued the observation for the next generation how once nacortized parents affect to their family. The obtained results are summarized as followings. 1. Basic investigation a) Hybrid silkworm variety recovers from nacorsis earlyer than pure line because it is stronger. b) Strong pure line variety recovers from nacorsis earlyer than weak one because it is stronger. c) Male worm recovers from nacorsis earlyer than female worm because it is stronger. 2. Establishment of Balance Health(BH) value system. In order to identify each seperated group by nacorsis and their family, the following Balance Health (BH) value indicating system was established.(Table Omitted) 3. In order to select better silkworm during breeding service, the BH value indicating system is strongly recommended. That is, in case BH value is smaller than four, it would be strong group or in case BH value is larger than four, it would be weak group. 4. Once nacortized parents do not harm any nature for next generation regardless P$_1$ or F$_1$ production. 5. The seperation through nacorsis may delay retrograde phenomenon some years than other case, so, this system should be used for pure line production every year. 6. It is recommended to nacortize silkworm for five minutes on breeding purpose, but two and half minutes on pure lines reproduction at fifth instar. 7. This report has been discussed in relation to practical industry promotion aspects, but there are many subjects to be solved from academical aspect in future
In order to achieve efficiency of laying eggs of silkworms, it is very important to eliminate noncocooning silkworms. This study is written on the basis of observation and analysis of mechanism of silkworms physiologically and anatomically. It is hoped that given herein will contribute to the effecting elimination work. Outline of the study summarize as follows: 1. It is observed through microscope that the silkworms which are seen normal state in the silk gland but no ability of cocoon making have polyhedrosis in the nerve, trachea and muscle near the tissue of the spinneret. 2. Relatively high proportion of non-cocooning silkworms are caused by the grasserie of the silkworms. 3. As a result of inoculation with purulent discharges against silkworms from first fooding through 8th day of 5th instar, number of cocooning silkworms were increased when inoculation are applied at laterer day of the instar. In the case of non-cocooning silkworms, meanwhile, resulted not big varriation when it is apllied in the early and middle of the period, but number of non-cocooning silkworm was reduced when the inoculation are given at laterer of the instar. Number of death during rearing and mounting are increased when earliest application of inoculation are carried out. 4. Symptom of grasserie was appeared more or less three days after application of the inoculation. Some silkworms which were inoculated just before mounting has ability of cocooning making even taken grasserie, in this case the silkworm can make thin cocoon. since the silkworm fall sick during cocoon making and unable of spinning soon. when the worm was affected by grasserie slightly, it was observed that the silkworm can spinning. It is supposed to be the light paralysis of spinneret is not very much influenced to spinning. 5. As a result of observation of original stock and hybrid including other 44 kinds of silkworm, many non-cocooning silkworms were found in the original stock especially originated from japanese than in hybrid. 6. A number of undulations are found in the middle division of the silk gland of non-cocooning silkworms. 7. According to the observation of the sizes of the body and digestive organs, normal natured silkworms and non-cocooning silkworms are more or less same in length, but the width, circumference of bodies and digestive organs were more larger in the later. If silkworm which was in the period of active eating of 5th instar was given shock of dropping to the floor, the silkworm receives little more shock when hit to side of the body than to head, and concrete floor than ondol and wooden floor.
