Nowadays, it is possible to access sharing data from unauthorized People. Access control prevents unauthorized access to computing resource, information resources, and communication resources. It is very important to defend the critical system resources from the unauthorized. The importance of this study is to develop Protection Profile for Mandatory Access Control (MAC) that satisfies TCSEC assurance level B2. protection profile for MAC will help developers to use reference for the development of requirements and formulating security specification.

One of the most challenging technical issues in mobile communication for multimedia is Quality of Service (QoS) management of handover calls. This paper proposes a 2-level handover control system to copy with this problem. A 2-level handover control system consists of resource reservation and call admission control modules. The resource reservation module divides the network resource into Hard and Soft reserved resource. The Hard reserved resource is only for the handover calls while the Soft reserved resource is for both the handovers and the new calls. And also, the resource reservation module classifies handovers into primary and secondary handovers based on often they occur. The call admission control module deals with the primary and secondary handover calls in different ways. The new calls can use Soft reserved resource only if there is sufficient amount available in the Hard reserved resource. Proposed system is evaluated using an M/M/c/c queueing model. It is shown that proposed system allows more efficient utilization of network resource without degrading QoS comparing with the legacy handover control systems.

This paper presents the introduction plan of the renewable energy in innovation city. The introduction plan to make the condition of innovation city best should consider the economical efficiency, the quality of life and the sustainable development. The design of balanced city is demanded to build environment friendly and sustainable city. Energy efficient buildings should be designed to deal with the energy efficiency and environment problem. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze the energy efficiency and provide the method to introduce the renewable energy system, in various buildings. As a result, the renewable energy plans of each innovation city are suggested and analyzed.

이동통신망에서 광대역 멀티미디어 서비스를 위한 무선 자원 확보를 위해서는 매크로셀/마이크로/피코셀(macro/micro/pico cell) 구조를 통해 무선 자원을 효과적으로 재사용할 필요가 있다. 이런 구조에서는 작은 셀 반경으로 인하여 빈번히 핸드오버가 발생하게 되고 이동성 또한 시간과 장소에 따라서 다양하게 나타난다. 본 논문에서는 차세대 이동통신망의 핸드오버 상황에서, 다양한 고속 멀티미디어 서비스에 일정한 수준의 QoS (Quality of Services)를 보장하기 위한 자원할당 시의 부하 제어 방안을 제안한다.

In this paper, we propose a novel control signaling protocol that efficiently controls connection setup and increases the utilization of network resources. The proposed protocol, Separated Control Signaling Protocol(SCSP), separates bearer control from call control lot WDM optical networks. The main function of call control is to check the availability of network resources such as wavelengths and receivers at destination node. Bearer control is to reserve and assign wavelengths. The signaling architecture of this protocol consists of call controller and hearer controller The call controller handles call setup and release, activates the beater controller, and manages the status of call and bearer. The bearer controller reserves wavelengths, sets up bearer, tears down bearer. and notifies the status of beater to call controller. The state transition diagrams of each controller are designed. Using control messages and related primitives, the information flows for call setup and bearer setup, hearer teardown and call release, and reaction for setup failures are described to evaluate the performance. The simulation results show that the separated control signaling protocol is superior to conventional one in terms of call blocking probability and resource utilization.

지리적으로 분산된 이 기종의 유휴 자원들을 서로 연결하여 가상의 고성능 컴퓨팅 자원으로 사용하는 그리드에서 자원에 대한 접근 제어 시스템의 구축은 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 그리드 환경 구축 시 전세계적으로 가장 많이 사용되는 Globus Toolkit 을 기반으로 하는 그리드 접근 제어 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다. 특히, 각 자원을 제공하는 사이트의 자율성을 보장하기 위해 각종 환경 설정 파일들을 이용하는 자원 접근 제어 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

IP서브넷과 매체간의 이동성을 제공하기 위해서 IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force) Mobile IP WG(Working Group)에서 Mobile IP가 제안되었다. 현재 Mobile IP WG의 활동 방향은 그 동안의 Mobile IP가 특별히 지원을 하지 않던 무선 환경을 수용하는 쪽으로 초점이 맞추어 지고 있다. 특히 무선 환경에서는 무선 대역 및 전원 자원의 효율적인 활용이 커다란 이슈가 되며 이를 위해서는 이동 노드의 이동성 관리 상태의 지원이 하나의 해결책이 될 수 있다. 본 논문은 이동 호스트의 무선상에서의 대역 및 전원 자원의 효율적인 활용을 위한 이동성 관리 상태를 자원하기 위하여 Mobile IP를 활용한 페이징 기법을 제시한다. 제시하는 방법은 이동성 관리 상태를 정의하여 이동 노드의 관리 상태를 차별화하며 제어에 따르는 비용을 감소시켜 자원을 낭비를 줄인다. 특히 페이징 및 페이징 영역 관리를 위한 제어 메시지를 Mobile IP메시지를 수정하여 제시하게 되는데 수정된 Mobile IP를 활용한 페이징 제어 메시지는 새로운 부가적인 제어 메시지의 활용을 줄여 복잡함을 막고 모든 제어를 IP로 하는 이점을 얻을 수 있다.

기업의 많은 활동들이 인터넷을 기반으로 하는 시스템으로 점차로 넓어지면서, 기업 내 산재되어 있는 많은 Application 시스템 상호간 연계되거나 통합하기도 한다. 시스템의 연계나 통합에 있어 중요한 요소 중 기업 내 시스템 자원에 대한 접근 제어에 대한 문제가 중요한 이슈 중 하나이다. 이를 위해 각 기업이나 그룹에서는 여러 접근 제어 기술을 구현한 솔루션을 도입하고 있지만 기업 내 표준에 적합하게 구현되어 있지 않거나 기업의 표준에 적합하게 구현이 되어 있다면 고비용을 지불해야 되는 문제점으로 인해, 기업에서 직접 기업 내 자원에 대한 접근 제어를 구현하여 사용하는 실정이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 현재의 접근 제어 기술 중 XML에 기반하며 표준화가 정립된 XACML 접근 제어 기술을 활용하여 웹 기반 기업 Application 시스템의 자원에 대해 접근 제어를 할 수 있는 방안을 연구하였다. 아울러 향후 기업의 웹 기반 애플리케이션 시스템의 상호 연계나 통합을 위한 접근 제어를 추진할 때 도움이 될 수 있고자 한다.

In this paper, a new demand-side evaluation for the technical potential of lighting dimming control and its applications in electricity markets have been presented. The California standard practice test has been widely used to estimate the economic value of demand-side resources. However, as the advent of deregulation and restructuring of power industry, the California test has been facing some limitations to adopt in the new market environments. In particular the conventional DC test is appropriate for the traditional vertically integrated utility, not for the restructured unbundled utility. Thus, this paper presents a new method to evaluate the economic value of demand-side resource, especially of controllable lighting dimming resource in terms of the energy service provider in market environments. We, therefore, first estimate the technical potential of the lighting dimming control and evaluate the value of the lighting dimming control based on the Korean electricity market data in 2006. The study result shows that the lighting dimming control is a cost effective option for the energy service provider.

회선교환에서는 사용자 사이의 전송로가 통화가 지속되는 동안 계속 점유되는 것과는 달리 패킷교환에서는 망내의 자원을 여러 사용자들이 공유함으로서 자원을 효율적으로 사용하게 되는데 적절한 제어가 이루어지지 않으면 망내에 congestion이 발생하여 오히려 성능이 감소하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 흐름제어 기법들인 ack-at-end-of-window기법과 pacing window flow control기법을 토대로 새로운 흐름제어기법을 제안한다. 새로운 흐름제어기법의 성능을 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 TDX-10 패킷처리기에 적용하여 분석한 결과 기존의 방법보다는 새로운 흐름제어기법의 성능이 다소 좋음을 보여준다.
