Study of Driving Stability Performance of 2-Wheeled Independently Driven Vehicle Using Electric Corner Module (전동 통합 샤시를 이용한 2륜 독립구동 차량의 선회성능 향상에 관한 연구)

  • An independently driven electric corner module cannot be applied to an actual vehicle without some difficulty, because of vehicle safety problems in the case of malfunctions and degraded ride and handling performance owing to the increase in the unsprung mass. In this study, a simulator is developed to evaluate the vehicle driving performance in order to solve ride and handling problems. Component modeling of a small-sized electric vehicle with an independently driven electric corner module is performed using MATLAB/Simulink. The vehicle is modeled by using CarSim, which can be used to analyze the vehicle maneuvers with 27 DOFs. The control algorithm for the improvement of vehicle driving safety and ride and handling performance is validated by using the developed simulator.

A Study on Urination Amount Estimation for the Male by the Measurement of Body Weight Difference (체중 변화 측정을 통한 남성 배뇨량 추정 방법 연구)

  • In this study, a method for estimating the amount of urination for men, was suggested and its performance was evaluated. This study is a preliminary one for the development of a health monitoring system that needs un-constraining, non-intrusive and long-term measurements in daily life. To estimate the amount of urination, a wide weighing plate with load cell was built and the difference in a man's weights between before and after urination was measured while he was standing on the plate. The results showed that the amount of urination can be estimated with the measured weight difference under the condition of mild movements. The largest measurement error of the suggested method was 40g, which means that this method can be applied to health monitoring in daily life. It is expected that the results of this study will be the basis for developing practical un-constraining and non-intrusive health monitoring system for daily use at home.

Effectiveness of the Modified Position of Scapular AP Projection (견갑골 전후방향 검사 시 변형된 자세의 유용성 평가)

  • Purpose: This study was to evaluate effectiveness of the modified position in scapular AP (anteriopo-sterior) projection. Materials and Methods: From June 2012 to July 2013, scapular AP projection was examined in 108 patients by use of conventional method and in 40 patients by use of modified method. We compared between conventional method and modified method following variables including sex, age, height, weight, and BMI. We measured and compared distance between lateral border of the scapular and the rib to confirm the separation of the scapular from the lung fields including the ribs. Results: The scapular AP projection was technically successful in all patients. There was no significant difference in patient characteristics including sex, age, height, weight, and BMI between conventional method and modified method. The mean distance between lateral border of the scapular and rib in conventional method and modified method was 15.09 mm and 26.33 mm, respectively. Modified method was significantly increased the distance between lateral border of the scapular and rib compared with conventional method (P < .01). Conclusion: The modified position in scapular AP projection was effective method to separate between the scapular and lung fields including the ribs compared with conventional position of scapular AP projection.

  • 염료감응 태양전지(dye-sensitized solar cells, DSSCs)는 식물의 광합성원리와 매우 유사한 작동원리를 갖고 있는 전지이며, 간단한 구조, 저렴한 제조단가, 친환경성 등의 등의 장점으로 인하여 많은 관심을 모으고 있다. 이러한 염료감응 태양전지는 빛을 받아들인 염료분자가 전자-홀 쌍을 생성하며 전자는 반도체 산화물을 통해 이동되고 전해질의 산화환원 과정을 통해 염료 분자가 다시 환원되는 순환메커니즘을 따르고 있다. 일반적으로 염료감응 태양전지는 밴드 갭 에너지가 큰 반도체 산화물을 포함하는 작업전극, 산화환원 반응을 통해 전자를 염료로 보내는 전해질, 환원 촉매역할을 하는 상대전극으로 구성되어 있다. 특히, 상대전극으로는 우수한 촉매특성과 높은 전도성을 갖는 백금이 가장 많이 이용되고 있지만 가격이 비싸고 요오드에 취약하기 때문에 상용화에 큰 장애물이다. 따라서, 백금을 대체하기 위해 저가의 탄소나 고분자에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있고, 그 중 탄소나노섬유(carbon nanofiber, CNFs)는 높은 표면적과 뛰어난 화학적 안정성으로 촉매효율을 증대시킬 수 있어 촉매물질로서 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 상대전극에 탄소나노섬유기반 복합체를 합성하였고, 성공적으로 저가격 및 고성능의 염료감응 태양전지를 제작하였다. 이때, 지지체인 탄소나노섬유는 전기방사법을 통해 합성하였으며, 수열합성법을 이용하여 금속산화물을 담지하였다. 이렇게 제작된 탄소나노섬유-Fe2O3 복합체는 scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, 그리고 X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy 통해 구조적, 화학적 특성을 평가하였으며 전기화학적 특성 및 광전변환 효율을 분석하기 위해 cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, 그리고 solar simulator를 사용하였다. 본 학회에서 위와 관련된 더 자세한 사항에 대해 논의할 것이다.

A Framework Integrating Problem Frames and Goal Modeling to Support Variability Analysis during Requirements Elicitation (요구사항 수집 단계에서 가변성 분석을 위한 문제 프레임 및 목표 모델 통합 프레임워크)

  • Variability management is the foremost criterion that defines the extent to which complexities can be handled in a system. Predominantly, the requirements' engineering (RE) study overlooks, or speculates a consistent behavior of, the environment in which a system functions. In real-time systems it is vital to observe and adjust to an intrinsically changing context. Therefore, in this work we identify the requirements of the system in various contexts by recommending a framework using i* goal model, problem frames, use case maps and live sequence charts. The framework is illustrated using a case study of the smart grid RTP system. In the case study, elaboration of scenarios using use case maps and live sequence charts proved beneficial as they assisted in early analysis and validation of contexts. In addition, the elaboration of requirements for obstacle and conflict analysis assists the requirements engineer to increase the robustness of the system. The proposed framework is evaluated theoretically and by empirical study.

  • Research ethics is the basic attitude for researchers. Thanks to our predecessors we are able to conduct systematic studies. The current trend of results and the amount of study-oriented assessments make the side effect that researchers conduct SCI (Science Citation Index) studies. Since the Declaration of Helsinki, the importance of the right, safety and welfare for human participants have improved. In the present study, I looked into other countries' standpoints concerning the subject of the responsibilities for research ethics and compared them with Korean's standpoint. Recently, the Ministry of Health and Welfare revised the laws for bioethics and safety. In the point of bioethics, I checked out the function, exemption and process of the Institutional Review Board for the future researcher. It is suggested to use the research note to verify a study procedure and protect oneself from research misconducts.

  • The purpose of this study was to perform research on the development of core course textbooks in the LIS field. The process of textbook development proposed in this study can also be a useful reference for developing the textbooks for other, non-core courses. The textbook development procedure used was as follows; 1) investigating and analyzing the main textbooks of LIS core courses domestically and abroad, 2) deriving optimal curriculum content from job analysis results, 3) gathering comment and feedback from professors teaching core courses, 4) proposing a final, three-tiered table of contents for an optimal textbook. The textbook table of contents proposed as a result of this research relates to the core subjects of: Introduction to Library and Information Science, Information Services, Library Management, Information Organization, Information Retrieval, and Library Fieldwork. We suggested chapter and section levels for all subjects, and list all of the details that should be dealt with in each section; instructors are then able to select from these options at their discretion.

  • Strain Energy Hinge(SEH) has been used in Korea Multi-purpose Satellite(KOMPSAT) series to deploy the solar panel due to the good record of reliability. However, when it reached a desired deployment position, a large buckling force is applied to the main body. This may cause structural damage and also affect control of the satellite. Therefore, reliable dynamic analysis for the deployment system is required at a design stage. Moreover, various mission of a satellite has made the size of solar panels got bigger, so elastic effect has to be considered seriously to get more precise analysis results. In this paper, a dynamic analysis method to predict the deployment is verified by KOMPSAT-2 deployment test.

Registration Method between High Resolution Optical and SAR Images (고해상도 광학영상과 SAR 영상 간 정합 기법)

  • Integration analysis of multi-sensor satellite images is becoming increasingly important. The first step in integration analysis is image registration between multi-sensor. SIFT (Scale Invariant Feature Transform) is a representative image registration method. However, optical image and SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) images are different from sensor attitude and radiation characteristics during acquisition, making it difficult to apply the conventional method, such as SIFT, because the radiometric characteristics between images are nonlinear. To overcome this limitation, we proposed a modified method that combines the SAR-SIFT method and shape descriptor vector DLSS(Dense Local Self-Similarity). We conducted an experiment using two pairs of Cosmo-SkyMed and KOMPSAT-2 images collected over Daejeon, Korea, an area with a high density of buildings. The proposed method extracted the correct matching points when compared to conventional methods, such as SIFT and SAR-SIFT. The method also gave quantitatively reasonable results for RMSE of 1.66m and 2.45m over the two pairs of images.

  • 지구온난화로 인한 홍수빈도 및 강우강도의 증가로 홍수피해의 규모는 더욱 증가하고 있다. 그리고 방재대책도 발생한 피해에 대한 복구를 주된 정책으로 하던 소극적 자세에서 벗어나 과학적 공학적 접근을 통해 재해에 대응할 수 있는 기술을 개발하는 적극적 홍수방어 체계를 구축하고 있다. 또한, 설계빈도의 무조건적인 상향조정에 따른 확정론적인 방법에 의존하기 보다는 추계학적 방법을 도입한 수문량 확충 및 매개변수의 불확실성 분석이 필요성이 대두되고 있는 실정이다. 일반적으로 수공구조물의 설계 시에는 설계홍수량을 사용하는데 이는 홍수특성, 홍수발생빈도, 홍수발생 가능성 등을 수공구조물의 규모와 파괴 시 예상되는 피해 정도에 따라 요구되는 안전성을 함께 고려해 수공구조물의 설계기준으로 활용된다. 설계홍수량은 지속시간과 재현기간을 사전에 지정하여 빈도분석을 통해 설계강우량을 산정하고 이를 강우-유출 분석을 함으로써 산정된다. 설계강우량은 빈도분석을 위해 선택된 강우형태에 따른 수문학적 무작위성을 포함하고 있다. 따라서 시간적 변동을 고려한 적절한 강우양상 형태의 선택은 수문학적으로 안전한 수공구조물의 설계 및 평가에 매우 큰 영향을 미친다. 현재의 경우는 강우형태에 대한 선택이 경험에 의해 임의로 이루어지므로, 토목공학자는 여러 가지 발생 가능한 강우형태에 따른 시간적 분포에 대해 고려해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 Huff분위에 따른 무차원 누가 강우곡선을 이용해 강우변동양상 생성을 위한 제약조건을 log-ratio 변환을 이용해 극복하였으며, 결과의 통계 특성치를 Johnson 분포를 통해 표준정규분포로 변환시켰다. 무작위 변수 발생 후 강우양상별 표준정규값의 상관행렬을 이용하여 상관성이 있는 무작위변수로 변환하였다. 얻어진 상관성을 갖는 무작위변수는 log-ratio 역변환을 통해 상관성을 갖는 변수로 재변환해서 무차원화된 강우곡선을 얻을 수 있었다.
