  • 전어는 한국 연안에 널리 분포하고 있으며, 주로 남해안과 동해안에서 어획이 이루어지고 있다. 전어의 어획 방법은 1978년까지는 주로 자망에 의하여 어획되었으나, 최근에는 소형 선망에 의한 어획량이 증가하고 있으며, 이것은 소수의 소형 선망에 전어가 대량으로 어획되는 영향에 기인한다. 그러나, 자망은 다른 어구에 비하여 어구의 비용이 적게 들고 소형 어선으로도 조업이 가능하므로 여전히 많은 수의 자망 어선이 전어가 연안으로 회유하여 오는 봄과 가을에는 선자망을 사용하여 조업을 행하고 있다. (중략)

A Study on the Hull Form of Fishing Boats around 1900 in South Coast of Korea (한국 남해안의 1900년경 어선의 선형에 관한 연구)

  • It was investigated and analized on the construction and hull form for the ordinary fishing boat of south coast in Korea, and then analogized on the shipbuilding technology of fishing boat and fishing type around 1900 by B-spline form parameter method. The results obtained can be summarize as follows : (1) It was known that the boats used in this study have more narrow hull form than that of ancient fishing boats and their hull form was improved around 1900. (2) Keel was composed of bar keel with angle cross section. The stem corner have a material of bar stem and makes a sharp pointed stem. (3) Shell plate was jointed by the rabbetted clinker joint method. (4) It was investigated that anchovy drag net fishing boat has high L/B, L/D, B/D value as compared with drift gill net fishing boat. (5) Two boats have a good stability and particularly anchovy drag net fishing boat have a better stability value in comparison to the drift gill net fishing boat.

A Study on the Safe Route through the Analysis of the Density of the Gill Netters in the West Sea (자망어선 밀도 분석을 통한 서해안 안전항로에 관한 연구)

  • This study attempted to present the monthly distribution of the inshore gill netters for the prevention of propeller failure caused by the damage of fishing gear by the merchant vessels in the West Sea. This study was conducted using the transmitting device of fishing location (V-Pass) data for 1 year in 2014. The grid intervals are $30minute{\times}30minute$ ($latitude{\times}longitude$) based on the section of the sea. A total of 56 sections were analyzed by constructing a grid. The results revealed that the section no. 194 with the highest density index showed no fishing gear damage accident. But the section no. 193 with a relatively lower density index showed more frequent fishing gear damage accident. It is because the section no. 193 is included in the main route of the merchant vessels. Based on this analysis, it is found that the fishing gears are not damaged in proportion to density index but risk of damage exists according to the main routes of merchant vessels. Therefore, for the safe navigation of the merchant vessels, notifying the waters of $34.5^{\circ}{\sim}35.5^{\circ}$ at latitude and $125.67^{\circ}{\sim}126^{\circ}$ at longitude, as a navigational warning area from May through September, will prevent marine accident, such as propeller failure and fishing gear damage. Accordingly, when the merchant vessels navigate in the section no. 193 and 203, the area of $34.5^{\circ}{\sim}35.5^{\circ}$ at latitude and $125.5^{\circ}{\sim}125.67^{\circ}$ at longitude is recommended for the safe navigation.

  • 어선의 해양사고 중 가장 많이 발생하는 충돌사고의 경우 선박 운항자의 졸음 등의 이유로 경계를 소홀이 하여 발생하는 경우와 어로 작업 중 접근하고 있는 상대선을 발견하고도 어로 작업 특성상 조종성능이 극도로 제한되어 적절한 피항 동작을 하지 못하여 발생한 경우가 대부분이며 이는 성어기의 어선 조업 특성상 선박의 조종업무를 수행할 수 있는 선장의 업무과중에 의한 피로누적과 어로 작업 특성상의 조종성능제한에 의해 기인한 것으로 판단되어 동해지방해양안전심판원 관할구역 내에서 주로 행해지는 자망, 채낚기, 기선저인망, 동해구 트롤어업의 조업 형태에 따른 어선 선원의 작업 여건과 각 어업별 어로 작업 중인 선박의 운항 성능에 대해 알아보고 충돌사고 방지를 위한 대책을 제안하고자 한다.

Analysis of the Generation Amount of Abandoned Marine Waste from Ships in the Northwest Sea of Jeju Island (제주 북서해역 선박기인 해양폐기물 발생량 분석)

  • Many merchant ships sail in the waters surrounding Jeju Island and many fishing vessels catch fish using gill nets, trolling lines, and so on. Meanwhile, marine waste has collected in the coastal waters of Jeju Island. However, there has been little research on the collection of marine waste in coastal waters. In this study, marine waste deposited in Jeju Island's northwest sea was collected using Jeju National University's training ship, and related vessels were analyzed for each gear type. According to the results, most coastal waters had abandoned fishing grounds, which were from fishing vessels, and a large proportion of them was gill net and trap fishing gear. To analyze how much marine waste is accumulating in a certain area and ship's stay time, we use automatic identification system (AIS) data to extract the time spent in the target sea, and the amount of marine waste per hour was analyzed in a unit distance of 1 ㎢. The average amount of marine waste generated per hour in the unit area was found to be 0.94 kg for gillnet fishing gear, 3.49 kg for trap fishing gear, 0.10 kg for trawl fishing gear, 0.11 kg for longline fishing gear, and 0.02 kg for other fishing gear.

  • 경상북도 울진군 후포리에서 동쪽으로 13마일 떨어져 있는 왕돌초 주변해역은 한ㆍ난류가 교차하는 조경어장이면서 수중암초가 융기되어 있는 용승어장으로서 수산생물이 풍부한 반면 해황이 거친 특성을 갖고 있다. 따라서 왕돌초와 인접해 있는 어업인들은 수 십년전부터 5톤급이상의 어선 150여 척을 이용하여 채낚기, 자망, 통발, 저인망, 트롤 등으로 조업을 해 오고 있다. (중략)

  • 특정 물때, 특정 시간대에 다수 어선의 입 출항은 해상교통관제사 및 항해사에게 많은 위험부담이 된다. 본 연구는 목포항의 물때별-시간대별에 따른 교통패턴을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 업종별 안강망, 자망 어업에 따라 교통량의 차이를 보였다. 또한, 물때별로 최대 30%까지 교통량의 차이를 보였으며, 목포구 만곡부에서는 항로 역행의 통항패턴을 보였다. 본 연구의 결과는 해역이용자에게 입 출항시 항행참고 지침 및 교육 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.
