Vibration Powered Generator System for Stand-Alone Health Monitoring Sensor Unit (건전도 감시용 자립형 계측유닛을 위한 진동발전시스템)

  • This paper presents an electric power generating system for stand-alone health monitoring sensor unit of bridge structure based on ambient vibration of bridge. In this paper, a novel electric power generator which has minimum effect of armature reaction is proposed. The related mechanical and electrical design equations are obtained, and a pilot generator has been implemented. In addition, the charging system for extremely low generator current is discussed, and some improvements are identified for the system. This investigation reveals that diode characteristics of rectifier is dominant factor in the charging process. Finally, both the simulation, which uses real measurement data of the Namhae bridge as input of the pilot generator, and indoor test are carried out. The results showed the applicability and effectiveness of the stand-alone vibration powered generator.

빈곤대책(貧困對策)의 재조명(再照明) : 협동조합(協同組合)을 통한 탈빈곤운동(脫貧困運動)의 활성화(活性化)를 중심으로

  • 본고(本稿)는 빈곤문제(貧困問題)를 둘러싼 새로운 시각(視角)을 설명하고 빈곤대책(貧困對策)의 방향전환을 촉구하기 위해서 집필되었다. 복지차원(福祉次元)의 부조(扶助)에 의존하기보다는 스스로의 노동(勞動)에 의해 자립(自立)할 수 있도록 도와주는 것이 최선(最善)의 빈곤대책(貧困對策)이라고 보는 시각(視角)인 것이다. 세계은행(世界銀行) 둥이 빈곤대책(貧困對策)을 보더라도 가능한 한 자신의 노력(努力)과 노동(勞動)에 의해 자립(自立)할 수 있어야 하며 또한 그러한 기회가 최대한 보장되어야 한다는 점이 부각되고 있다. 사회부조(社會扶助)의 대상자들인 빈민(貧民)들이 개인적(個人的)으로나 자발적(自發的)인 조직화에 의해 시장경제(市場經濟)에 참여하여 적극적인 삶의 추구를 도모할 때 이는 취업증가를 통한 소득증가(所得增加), 나아가서 지역개발(地域開發) 및 국가경제성장(國家經濟成長)에도 기여하게 될 것이다. 더불어 사회적(社會的) 안정(安定) 및 정치적(政治的) 기반형성(基盤形成) 등 바람직한 외부효과(外部效果)를 창출할 가능성이 높게 된다. 본고(本稿)는 태동되기 시작한 빈민들의 생산협동조합운동(生産協同組合運動)에 초점을 맞추어 지역사회에 근거를 둔 경제공동체사업(經濟共同體事業)의 활성화를 강조하고 있다. 이로써 취업기회(就業機會)가 확충되고 지역개발(地域開發)이 촉진되며 그들의 소득증가(所得增加)를 통하여 탈빈곤(脫貧困)에도 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이므로 빈곤대책(貧困對策)의 우선순위(優先順位)가 여기에 두어져야 할 것이라고 제안하고 있다. 조금이라도 일할 수 있는 능력(能力)이 있다면 빈민(貧民)들은 협동조합(協同組合)을 결성하여 자립(自立)할 수 있도록 스스로 노력해 나가야 할 것인바, 이에 대하여 정부는 새마을금고(金庫) 등을 통한 금융지원(金融支援)과 조세감면(租稅減免)을 통하여 조직화를 지원하는 방향으로 인센티브를 제공해야 할 것이다.

The Development and Application of Integrating Instruction with Evaluation Materials for Strengthening of Independent Living Competence: Focused on Technology and Home Economics Education (기술·가정과 생활자립역량 함양을 위한 교수학습-평가 연계 자료 개발 및 적용)

  • The purpose of the study was to analyze the home economics education experts' and teachers' perception of ways to align instruction with evaluation, based on the 2015 revised technology and home economics curriculum for the purpose of developing the independent living competencies, and to provide examples of alignment in practice. The analysis is based on the data from a Delphi study (10 experts) and a survey of technology and home economics teachers(n=422). The results of survey indicated that experts and teachers perceived the instruction-assessment alignment to be most appropriate for project learning-project assessment, followed by project learning-portfolio assessment, problem solving learning-portfolio assessment, and problem solving learning-project assessment, in order. Based on the survey results, a model of instruction-assessment alignment and a teaching-learing plan were presented, based on 'Development task of life cycle and Life plan' unit. This was considered to be a proper method of instructional alignment for the purpose of developing 'independent living competence' with project-learning/project-assessment. The model focuses on consistency between instruction and evaluation, unity in methods, and the availablility of feedbacks of assessment for the improvement of independent living competencies. In conclusion, this study contributes as foundational information for teaching and learning-assessment alignment. Diverse methods of instruction-evaluation alignment is expected for future research.

Relationship between Burnout and Role Stressors Experienced by Professions at Centers for Independent Living in the United States (미국 자립생활센터 실무자가 경험하는 소진과 직무스트레스 관계성 연구)

  • The purpose of this study conducted in the United States was to identify the level of role stressors among professions at centers for independent living and to investigate the relationship between role stressors and burnout at the target population. A total of 218 professions completed a web-based and hard copy survey. The participants reported a mean (standard deviation) score of 22.48 (5.80) for the role conflict dimension, 22.20 (4.30) for the role ambiguity dimension, and 9.14 (2.55) for the role overload. Demographic assessment of the differences on the mean score of the three role stressors revealed significant associations with that age, job title, highest level of education, years of human service experience and working hours per week for role conflict/role ambiguity, and experience in human service for role overload. The role conflict, ambiguity, and overload stressors were significant predictors of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization explaining 26% and 14% of the variance, respectively. None of the stressors significant predicted personal accomplishment. The results indicate that role conflict, ambiguity, and overload are important predictors of burnout among professions at centers for independent living.

A Study on the Effects of Social Support on Career Maturity and Self-reliance of Inmates of a Juvenile Reformatory (사회적 지지가 소년원 내 남자청소년의 진로성숙과 자립 의지에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of social support on career maturity and self-reliance of inmates in a juvenile reformatory. This survey was administered to the adolescents in S juvenile reformatory, which represents juvenile reformatory across the nation. Statistical analysis were performed using SPSS 22.0 for 115 complete responses. Results are as follows: First, the effects of social support on career maturity was found to be statistically significant, $R^2=.411$, p<.001. That is, support by friends and religious program personnel remained a significant influence on career maturity, after controlling for sociodemographic variables. Second, the effects of social support on self-reliance was also found to be statistically significant, $R^2=.520$, p<.001. It was shown that the support of friends and family as dependent variables, had statistically significant effects on self-reliance. The results of this study suggest the need to expand programs that reinforce support by friends, a meaningful variable, along with the need to seek and link available resources within the local community in order to build social support systems. It is also necessary to establish education and related organizations to provide effective socail support.
