Analysis on Taxation Public Servant's Pride in Organization (세무공무원의 조직에 대한 자긍심 분석)

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate empirically the relationship among organization identity, organization immersion, and pride(또는 self-esteem) of taxation public servants. The results of the research showed the following. First, the research showed that gender and work year, as individual characteristic variables, influence a significant effect on organization identity. Second, it turned out that the pride of taxation pubic servants influences a positive effect on organization identity, and groups of lower pride affect organization identity more than groups of higher pride. Third, it turned out that the pride of taxation public servants also influences a positive effect on organization immersion. In other words, taxation public servants with higher pride showed higher organization immersion. Groups of lower pride affect organization immersion more than groups of higher pride. These results verified that higher pride of organization members can strengthen organization identity and organization immersion.

The Effect of Make-up Education on Elderly Women's Self-esteem and Life Satisfaction (화장교육이 노인여성의 자긍심과 생활만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • 본 논문은 노인복지관을 방문하는 60세 이상의 노인여성을 대상으로 8주간의 화장교육을 실시하여 화장교육이 노인여성의 자긍심과 생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 조사 대상자는 전체 80명 중 연령과 화장관심도를 근거로 실험군 40명, 대조군 40명으로 나누고 사전 조사 후, 실험군에게 8주간 화장교육을 실시하고, 효과 검증을 위한 사후 검사를 실시하여 실험군과 대조군의 자긍심과 생활만족도를 비교하였다. 교육 후 노인여성들의 화장교육에 대한 평가는 대체로 만족도가 높았으며 연구결과, 화장교육을 받은 실험군의 생활만족도는 유의하게 향상되었고(p<0.05), 자긍심은 교육 후 대조군이 낮아진 것에 비해 실험군은 변화가 거의 없는 것으로 나타나 교육의 효과로 인한 결과로 생각되며, 화장교육이 노인여성의 자긍심과 생활만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다.

  • Recently, Universities's idea of employment are activity discussed. Especially, Service oriented departments' argument about the curriculum and the environment tests its accomplishment with value in employment. Therefore, this study has been done on the department of airline service which has representation of employment. This study determines the condition and the position of the department of airline services that it estimates the future service orientation in organizations placing education. It appeared that self-esteem affected Physical environment, and service effect quality as a company's loyalty. Accordingly, to improve self-esteem working staff in service should be improved. And other various measures education service quality, self-esteem, and company's loyalty should be taken as well.

  • This study is an empirical research on what effects public tax officers' pride, external image, and organization identification as tax specialists have on their organizational commitment. The results of the verification showed that their organizational commitment gets deeper as their satisfaction about pride, external image, and organization identification get greater. In order to meet the public interest in taxation and the demand of the time with positive attitudes and facilitate the functions of the taxation administration, public tax officers' organizational commitment should be intensified by increasing their pride as tax specialists, enhancing external images of the taxation administration, making substantial and realistic efforts, and letting public tax officers have organization identification.

  • This study aimed to identify the impact of make-up education program on the level of satisfaction with make-up and the self-esteem of 80 elderly women. This education was provided during 8 weeks from May 28 to 16 July 2010 to women over 60 who were visiting P seniors welfare center, in D city. Some people fell out of the research, so finally the experimental group was 34 and the control group 36. During this research seven methods of make-up, including that of light make up were taught to the experimental group. Comparing the satisfaction and self-esteem levels before and after education. The result was that through the education the levels of their satisfaction with make-up and of their self-esteem were shown to have increased (p<0.05), significantly. We hope that through this research old people's healthy living and their social confidence can better converge.

결혼 및 은퇴 상태가 노년기 정신건강에 미치는 영향: 미국 종단자료의 분석

  • 본 연구는 미국 노인의 두 조사 시점에 걸친 결혼 상태(지속적 유배우, 배우자 상실, 지속적 무배우) 및 은퇴 상태(지속적 은퇴, 은퇴 전이 지속적 취업)가 다양한 측면의 정신건강(우울감, 행복감, 자긍심, 통제감)에 미치는 영향 및 이에 대한 성별의 중재효과를 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 미국 전국규모 종단자료인 National Survey Of Families and Households (T1-T2: 1987-1993)의 50세 이상 응답자 1,798명의 자료가 분석에 포함되었다. 그 결과 T1-T2 간 배우자 상실은 우울감 증가 및 행복감 감소와 연관되는 것으로 나타났다. T1-T2 지속적 무배우 상태는 통제감의 증가와 관련되며, T1-T2지속적 무배우 상태인 남성의 경우는 지속적 무배우 상태의 굴성과 틀리 현저하게 행복감이 저하되는 것으로 나타났다. T1-T2 지속적 은퇴 상태는 우울감 증가, 자긍심 저하, 통제감 저하와 관련되었다. T1-T2 간 은퇴전이는 자긍심 저하와 연관되었다. 은퇴와 정신건강 저하간의 관련성을 일관적으로 제시하는 이상의 결과들은, 은퇴가 노년기 정신건강에 미치는 부정적 영향을 경감시킬 수 있는 보호적 중재요인의 규명에 대한 후속 연구의 필요성을 강력히 시사한다.

An Analysis of the Factors Affecting Local University Students' Halting Their Academic Studies and Satisfaction with Their Campus Life (지방대학생들의 학업중단 영향요인과 대학생활만족도 분석)

  • This study was aimed to obtain basic data with the intention of lowering the motives of local university students' halting their studies through an analysis of the factors affecting their academic interruption and satisfaction with their campus life. The result of this study is as following. First, it was found that the factors affecting their academic interruption included social variables, sense of self-respect, educational services, home environment, personal interest, academic abilities and so on. It was noted that the factors of personal interest and self-respect had the most significant effects on their academic interruption, statistically. Second, it was shown that the factors such as self-respect, educational services and personal interest had significant effects statistically on satisfaction with their campus life. Third, it turned out that there were significant differences in satisfaction with their campus life between those who considered halting their studies and those who did not. Therefore, concrete efforts at the university level should be put into practice to enhance students' self-respect for and satisfaction with their universities.

The Effects of Compassion experienced by Social Workers on Collective Self-Esteem: Mediating Effect of Positive Work-Related Identity and Moderating Effect of Organizational Identification (사회복지사들이 경험하는 컴페션이 집단적 자긍심에 미치는 영향: 긍정적 업무관련 정체성의 매개효과와 조직 동일시의 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the effect of compassion on collective self esteem through positive work-related identity, and to demonstrate the mediating effect of positive work-related identity and the moderating effect of organizational identification. In this study, The data collection was targeted at 369 social workers working in 13 social welfare facilities and institutions in Gyeonggi Province and 12 in Seoul from April 1 to April 25, 2018. It was demonstrated that compassion had a positive effect on positive work-related identity. Also, it was proved that positive work-related identity had a positive effect on collective self esteem, and mediating effect of positive work-related identity and moderating effect of organizational identification were also significant. Therefore, this study suggests social workers experienced compassion will have positive work-related identity, collective self esteem, and organizational identification.

The Effects of Cinema Therapy on Depression and Self-Esteem in People with Schizophrenia (영화치료가 조현병 환자의 우울 및 자긍심에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was done to investigate the effects of cinema therapy on schizophrenia patients' depression and self esteem. The research design was a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Participants were recruited from two mental health facilities in J city(20 in the experimental group and 20 in the control group). The research was carried out from March to April, 2010. The cinema therapy was conducted seven times. After the cinema therapy, depression of schizophrenia patients in experimental group was lowered compared with that of patients in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (t=-4.17, p<.001). After the cinema therapy, self esteem of schizophrenia patients in experimental group was improved compared with that of patients in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=5.77, p<.001). The results indicate that the cinema therapy was a useful program leading positive effects on depression and self esteem in schizophrenia patients.
