Development of Habitat Suitability Analysis Models for Wild Boar(Sus Scrofa) : A Case Study of Mt. Sulak and Mt. Jumbong (멧돼지 서식지 적합성 분석 모형 개발 -점봉산, 설악산 지역을 대상으로-)

  • The objective of this research was to develop habitat suitability models for wild boar (Sus Scrafa) in Mt. Sulak National Park and Mt. Jumbong Natural Forest Reserve. The study area is covered-with climax temperate hardwood forests ot'mainly Mongolian oak ($\textit{Quercus mongolica}$), and has diverse wildlife species including wild boars. Three suitability models - summer, fall, and annual models - were developed. These models were based on slope, aspect, forest types, forest year classes, distance from streams and trails. Habitat data collected through telemetry were used for the models. The accuracy of the models was tested by comparing observed traces of wild boar in Mt. Jurnbong, and most traces were on suitable areas on the suitability maps.

  • Software has been developed for simulating particle dispersion in a circular pipe with sudden-expansion, which models the fuel feeding system of a combustor that uses metal powder like aluminum as fuel. The Lagrangian based discrete tracer point method was employed for a plug flow of particles that satisfies local turbulent velocity fluctuations. A radial velocity component was created to improve the flow turning outwards in the recirculation zone. The particle distribution patterns from both with and without the component were directly compared with the experiments near the reattachment.

증권업(證券業)의 규모(規模)와 범위(範圍)의 경제성(經濟性)에 대한 실증분석(實證分析) -한국(韓國)과 일본(日本)의 비교연구(比較硏究)-

  • 본(本) 연구(硏究)에서는 우리나라 증권산업(證券産業)에 있어서 규모(規模) 및 범위(範圍)의 경제성(經濟性)의 존재여부를 실증분석하였다. 이것을 일본(日本)의 경우와 비교하면 우리나라에서도 증권업(證券業) 규모(規模)의 경제성(經濟性)이 대체로 존재하며 대규모(大規模)보다는 중(中) 소규모(小規模)에서 뚜렷이 시현되는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 업무범위(業務範圍)의 경제성(經濟性)의 존재는 통계적으로 유의(有意)하게 입증되지 않으며 다만 자금(資金)이나 신인도면(信認度面)에서 유리한 입장에 있는 대형사(大型社)가 인수주선업무에 있어서 비교우위(比較優位)를 보였다. 분석기간이 증권산업(證券産業)의 고도성장기였기 때문에 단기적인 효율성(效率性)을 극대화하기 어려웠다는 점과 각종 제도적(制度的) 규제(規制)로 인해 증권회사(證券會社)들이 효율에 입각한 업무다변화(業務多邊化)를 적극적으로 추진하는 데 제약이 있었다는 점 등이 고려되어야 하겠지만 우리나라 증권사(證券社)가 내부경영(內部經營)의 효율성면에서 개선의 여지가 있음을 시사하고 있다. 본(本) 연구(硏究)의 이러한 잠정적 결론에도 불구하고 규모(規模) 및 범위(範圍)의 경제성(經濟性)에 대한 정밀한 분석이 증권업(證券業)뿐만 아니라 타금융업(他金融業)에 대해서도 시도되어야 할 것이며 이러한 연구들은 증권산업(證券産業) 업무영역조정(業務領域調整)을 포함한 제반 정책결정에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose the efficient and reasonable weeding model of the scientific literature by measuring a life-span of literatures in the field of nuclear engineering through citation analysis, the average life of actually discarded literatures in the KAERI (Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute), and the life of use through the circulation data analysis from 1992 to 1994 of KAERI.

  • 온라인상에서 발생하는 혐오 표현은 사회가 직면한 주요 문제 중 하나이다. 이러한 필요성에 입각해, 최근 인공지능을 활용하여 발화에 대한 교화 목적을 가진 대응 발화 쌍을 통해 혐오 표현에 대한 실질적인 완화를 진행하는 연구들이 생겨나고 있다. 그러나 각 혐오 표현에 적합한 대응 발화의 구축은 다수의 전문 인력이 요구되므로 데이터를 구축함에 있어 시간과 비용이 많이 소요되며 대응 발화 생성 또한 어려운 문제로 여겨진다. 해당 문제를 완화하기위해, 본 논문은 사전에 기 구축되어 있는 혐오 표현 데이터를 기반으로 의미 기반 검색을 적용하여 자동으로 데이터를 증강할 수 있는 쉽고 빠른 데이터 증강 방법론을 제안한다. 제안하는 프로세스의 타당성과 증강된 문장의 효과를 검증하기 위해 사전학습 모델을 기반으로 비교 실험을 진행하였다. 실험 결과, 제안하는 프로세스를 적용하였을 시, 그렇지 않은 모델 대비 높은 폭의 성능 향상을 보였다.

Comparison of Plantar Foot Pressure and Shift of COP among Level walking, Stairs and Slope Climbing (평지 보행 그리고 계단과 경사로 오르기 동안 압력중심 이동경로 및 족저압 비교)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the shift of COP pathway and the plantar foot pressure among level walking and stairs and ramp climbing in young and elderly people. Plantar foot pressure was measured by MatScan system(Tekscan, USA). Statistical analysis was used One-way ANOVA to know the characteristics of peak plantar pressure during walking with different the facilities. In young adults, COP pathway during stairs climbing was slightly shorten and trended to abduct at forefoot. COP pathway during ramp climbing was also shorten but trend to adduct at forefoot. Peak plantar pressure of 2-3 metatarsal head and heel during ramp climbing was more decreased than level walking. In elderly people, COP pathway during stairs climbing was more shorten and abducted than leve walking and COP pathway during ramp climbing was more unstable than level walking. Peak plantar pressure of first metatarsal head increased at stair climbing and decreased at ramp climbing. That of second metatarsal head and heel was more decreased at ramp climbing. Conclusionally, Peak plantar pressures of each foot region generally increased and more changed during ramp climbing.

Utility of Gait Analysis and Functional Assessment of Prosthetic Reconstruction in Bone Tumor around the Knee (슬관절 주위에 발생한 골종양 환자에서 종양 대치물을 이용한 재건술 후 기능적 평가 및 보행 분석의 유용성)

  • Purpose: This study attempts to know functional results and gait analysis usefulness in patients with bone tumor around knee joint tumors who underwent prosthesis knee joint reconstruction. Materials and Methods: Retrospective study was conducted with 7 patients out of 30 patients who underwent prosthesis knee joint reconstruction after wide marginal excision for bone tumor around knee in orthopedics of this hospital from 2001 to 2010. Functional assessment and gait analysis were perforemed. Results: For the SF-36 score, while 'role physical' and 'role emotional' items showed 100% (100 points) high scores individually, general health, physical function, vitality, and social function showed low scores. The mean score of MSTS was 88.1% (23.8 points [17-27]), indicating a relatively high score. For the gait analysis, mean gait velocity was 97.2 m/s, mean cadence was 105.6 step/min, mean stride length was 111.3 m, mean step length was 61.5 cm, swing phase was 39.8%cycle, stance phase was 60.1%cycle, mean single limb support was 37.1%cycle, mean double limb support was 13.0%cycle, and mean push off was 60.7%cycle. Conclusion: It is expected that prosthesis reconstruction after wide marginal excision for bone tumor around knee has relatively good functional results. Gait analysis was considered one of method which showed gait phase and assessed functional ability objectively by quantitative assessment post operative patient condition. It might help treatment and post operative rehabilitation planning with the functional assessment.

  • The aim of this study is to predict use behavior for social welfare service of the elderly mentally ill through means-end chain theory. Means-end chain theory explains cognitive structure related to the consumer's preference to various products and services. Although the elderly mentally ill begin to emerge as new client population, social welfare services for them do not seem to be enough in the community. Based on this awareness, this study tried to analyse service use behavior of the elderly mentally ill through means-end chain theory to develop new social welfare services. The data were collected from 15 elderly mentally ill and found 5 attributes, 10 consequences, and 11 values. Hierarchical Value Map was composed of 'disease management, rehabilitation preparation, hobby leisure ${\rightarrow}$ health maintenance, energy of life ${\rightarrow}$ social reintegration, life satisfaction, harmonious family life'. To activate the social service for the elderly mentally ill, it should be developed various programs such as disease management, rehabilitation preparation, hobby leisure for the elderly mentally ill. The ultimate value of these programs will be improve life satisfaction and integrated into society.

The Effects of Plantar foot Pressure and EMG Activation of Neck, Lumbar and Low Limbs by Using Carrier during Walking (처네(앞.뒤) 사용 방법이 보행 시 목, 허리 및 다리 근육 활성도와 족저압에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the changing plantar foot pressure and muscle activation of neck, lumbar and low limb by different way of the using carrier during walking. Twenty healthy and young females who brought up infants and had no musculoskeletal disorders of neck, lumbar and low limb were instructed to perform plantar foot pressure and muscle activation of neck, lumbar and low limb during different ways of the using the carrier and walking. Plantar foot pressures were recorded by RS-scan system(RS scan Ltd, German), muscle activation were recorded by ProComp infinitiTM(Thought Technology Ltd, Canada). The data collected by each way of the using carrier and One-way ANOVA was used to analyze. The results indicated that there was a significant increase on erector spinae muscle activation and pressure of great toe zone by using anterior carrier and there was a increase on activation of paraspinal muscle and metatarsal zone by using posterior carrier. Therefore, the way of using carrier could be influenced upon structure and function of the foot and muscle activation.

Functional analysis of isolated posterior cruciate ligament deficient subjects (후방 십자 인대 단독 손상 환자의 기능적 분석)

  • Purpose: To evaluate the compensatory mechanism in vivo and develop the treatment guide by performing the comprehensive functional tests of the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) deficient subjects. Material and Methods: 10 PCL deficient subjects and 10 healthy control group were evaluated. Performed functional tests were range of motion, posterior drawer test, Telos, 30$^{\circ}$ flexion wt-bearing view, KT-1000 arthrometer, gait analysis, EMG test and isokinetic tests. Results: Physical, KT-1000, Telos posterior tests showed significant differences, but 300 full weight bearing lateral view, muscle strength test revealed no difference between two groups. Less knee flexion at initial contact and reduced maximum valgus moment were observed in PCL deficient group. In vertical drop landing, PCL group had increased plantar flexion angle at initial contact. Conclusion: Compensatory mechanisms such as reduced unstable components and absorbing the maximal load of the joint were occurred after PCL insufficiency, which result in good clinical and functional outcomes. Further investigations would be needed to understand the functional adaptations of PCL deficient subjects.
