동물원에서 사육중인 검독수리(Aquila chrysaetos)가 구토중세를 보이다 약 111여 일간물과 사료를 절폐하였고 전신적 삭쇄, 안구에는 염증성 삼출물로 덮여 실명, 한쪽날개가 처지며 호흡곤란으로 폐사하여 부검의뢰 되었다. 부검 소견상 폐와 기낭에 회백색의 육아종 성 결절이 다수 존재하였다. 기낭은 비후되어 있었고 일부는 균사가 자라 청색을 띄는 병변도 관찰되었다. 병리조직학적으로 병변은 육아종성 괴사였으며, 병소에는 곰팡이의 균사와 소포 가 관찰되여 곰팡이성 폐렴과 기낭염이였다. 병면의 배양 결과 Aspergillus Fumigatus로 동정 되었다. 본 예는 맹금류인 검독수리에서의 Aspergillus감염 중계이다.

Veterinary clinicostatistical observation on the productive performance in a breeding sow herd in Japan during the period from January to December in 1990, in a modernized breeding sow herd in kanagawa prefecture, consist monthly, varied from 347 to 363 sows on production(average 355) and boar on service of between 26~29(average 28) shows computerized analysing figures of moderate high production results per year of 20.8 weaning pigs per sow or 18.8 fatteners at market weight per sow when continue their rearing within farm. Sows perform average 2.25 litters per sow that year. On other hand, morbidity rate of piglets with clinical signs and symptoms was 0.2%(morbidity rate : 200 per 100,000 population In piglets) on average in year and that of mortality rate in suckling from birth was 17.8%, respectively Finally, these information may be used or reference in further study of the field of veterinary clinicostatistics and medicine.

인체에 발생하는 여러 질환을 진단 및 치료하고 예후를 결정하는데 혈관의 분포 및 그 상태를 관찰하는 것은 극히 중요하다. 형관조영술의 진단적 기치 및 그 임상적 응용은 1950년대 부터 널리 인정되고 있다. 다만 조영제 주입에는 동맥의 천자 및 도관(Catheter)삽입이라는 비교적 침습적 방법에 의존하여 왔다. 최근 Computer의 도입으로 대표되는 전자기술의 발전 등으로 혈관 특히 동맥의 저농도 조영상을 전산처리로서 숫자화하여 증강, 가산 또는 감산시키는 기법이 개발되어 1970년대 후반에 이르러 임상적으로 응용되게 되었다. 이러한 전산화 감산 형과조영술(Digital Subtraction Angiography : DAS)은 종래의 혈관조영술의 기본 수기에 전산 시스템을 복합시킨 것으로 그 임상적 효과는 매우 큰 것이다.

Regional odontodysplasia (RO) is a rare and nonhereditary dental malformation. It is a dental alteration of unknown etiology, involving both mesodermal and ectodermal dental components, which is characterized by clinical, radiographic, and histologic features. The maxilla is more often involved than the mandible (especially the left side), and there is no racial predilection, but females are affected twice as often as males. The affected teeth are clinically hypoplastic and hypocalcified, presenting a "ghost-like" appearance radiographically. The present case features a male patient aged 4 years and 6 months who was diagnosed with regional odontodysplasia in the maxilla on the right side, confirmed by clinical and radiographic examination, with a follow up of 5 years. Since teeth affected by RO have a poor prognosis due to the fragile tooth surface and open apices, the long-term treatment strategy depends on periodic clinical and radiological observations.

An eight-year-old, spayed female Shih-tzu, weighing 3.2 kg with a history of chronic intermittent vomiting and unknown pain for four months was referred. In ultrasonography, a small round hypoechoic mass was identified in the gastric wall. Gastric endoscopy showed a solitary raised mass with smooth surface in the pyloric antrum. Surgical resection was performed. Histopathologic findings with immunohistochemical studies showed extramedullary plasmacytoma in the gastric submucosal and muscle wall layer. The patient recovered normally without any complications. The tumor has not been re-occurred after surgical removal, to date.
