In this paper, we propose a private digital watermarking method based on a wavelet transform to protect digital contents copyrights. We find out the optimal watermark insertion region and the optimal amount of watermark in order to satisfy robustness and imperceptibility against various attacks such as noise, compression, collusion, clipping, scaling to transfer the contents safely. Through this experiment, we could find out the adequate location of watermark insertion and proper amount of watermark, and transfer the watermarked image safely.

In this paper we verified that the window based TCP performance of throughput can be improved by the traffic connection efficiency. and have studied the performance of traffic congestion control that is controlling transmission rate. In wireless network, the bidirectional node is run by estimating the usage rate of link of error control idle and the throughput is shown by transmitting segments. The throughput rate shows almost no delay due to the bidirectional traffic connection efficiency up to the allowable point as increasing the transport rate by the critical value, depending on the size of end-to-end node queue of the increase of transport rate. This paper reports the performance improvement as the number of feedback connection traffic congestion control increases because of the increase of the number of asynchronous transport TCP connections.
It is generally known that the frost-resistance of concrete is much affected by the air content in concrete and by the air void system or air distribution. And also the frost-resistance is believed to vary with the stre¬ngth of concrete. This article is prepared to describe, based on experiment, the effect of the air content and the air void system, particularly the effect of the spacing factor, on the freeze-thaw resistance of the high strength conc¬rete. For this purpose, I first worked on Non-AE concrete to make its compressive strength set about 400 to 500 kg/em'. However, the freeze-thaw test on the Non-AE concrete resulted in low durability factor, I.e., 10-2~0%. Thus to enhance the durability, another supplementary step was needed. I used AE admixture. which enhanced durability by changing the air content from 2% to 12%. The frost-thaw test was then performed 500 cycles on the 20 kind of concrete mixtures which differ in unit cement content and in water-cement ratio. Keywords : frost -resistance, air content, air void system, air distribution, spacing factor, freeze-thaw test, dur ability factor. capillary cavity, Linear Traverse Method.
In this paper, we Propose a method using the Tikhonov-Miller process to improve the robustness of watermarking under various attacks. A visually recognizable pattern watermark is embedded in the LH2, HL2 and HH2 subband of wavelet transformed domain using threshold and besides watermark is embeded by utilizing HVS(Human Visual System) feature. The pattern watermark was interlaced after random Permutation for a security and an extraction rate. To demonstrate the improvement of robustness and similarity of the proposed method, we applied some basic algorithm of image processing such as scaling, filtering, cropping, histogram equalizing and lossy compression(JPEG, gif). As a result of experiment, the proposed method was able to embed robust watermark invisibility and extract with an excellent normalized correlation of watermark under various attacks.

The watermarking is the technique that embeds or extracts the certain data without the change of the original data for the copyright protection of the multimedia contents. Watermark-embedded contents must not be distinguished by human's eye and must be robust to the various image processing and the intentional distortions. In this paper, we propose a new watermarking technique applied in the wavelet domain which has both the spatial and frequency information of a image. For both the robustness and the invisibility, the positions for embedding the watermark is selected with the multi-threshold. We search the similarity between highly correlated coefficients in the each subband and decide the mark space after verifying the significance in the specified subband. The similarity is represented by the coefficient difference between the subbands and its distribution is used in the watermark embedding and extracting. The embedded watermark can be extracted without the original image using the relationship of the subbands. By these properties the proposed watermarking algorithm has the invisibility and the robustness to the attacks such as JPEG compression and the general image processing.
It was proved that in conventional kiln drying of disks piling position in the kiln exerted a great influence on drying rates, and the larger the variation of disk diameter, the more undulating drying rates of disks. While in vacuum drying disks there was no influence on drying rates. By the end-wrapping treatments and the radial direction of disks tangential surface stresses in the core of disks were slightly compressive in three species. In control disks the drying stresses distributed into one step-style that compressive stresses in the pith side of 6cm from pith were larger than those in the bark side, while in the disks end-wrapped with Korean paper the drying stresses distributed uniformly, because flow rates of free water in disks had no difference between heart-and sap-wood by obstruction of evaporating water from surface of disks by end-wrapping with Korean paper. And end-wrapping with Korean paper considerably restrained those. Tangential differential shrinkage stresses developed the maximum tensile stress near the bark and with approaching the pith the stresses gradually reduced and changed into compressive stresses in near the pith. At the end of vacuum drying the maximum tangential tensile stresses of disks end-wrapped with Korean paper were smaller than those of control disks, and critical moisture contents causing the V-shaped crack of disks end-wrapped with Korean paper were lower than those of control disks because of the set by obstruction of evaporating water of end-wrapping with Korean paper. In the experiment of vacuum drying stress distribution the disks end-wrapped with Korean paper or aluminum foil in three species were free from V-shaped cracks and control disks were defected very slightly by V-shaped cracks. And also disks end-wrapped with Korean paper were free from heart checks in Alnus japonica and Juglans sinensis, and heart checks were occurred very slightly in others. Especially, not to speak of disks end-wrapped with Korean paper, vacuum drying of disks end-wrapped with aluminum foil prevented effectively drying defects, moreover drying times could be shortened, that is. Ginkgo biloba, Alnus japonica, and Juglans sinensis disks could be dried from green to in-use moisture content in 110 hours, 272 hours, and 407 hours, respectively.

In this paper, we proposed multispectral image compression method using CIP (classified inter-channel prediction) and SVQ (selective vector quantization) in wavelet domain. First, multispectral image is wavelet transformed and classified into one of three classes considering reflection characteristics of the subband with the lowest resolution. Then, for a reference channel which has the highest correlation and the same resolution with other channels, the variable VQ is performed in the classified intra-channel to remove spatial redundancy. For other channels, the CIP is performed to remove spectral redundancy. Finally, the prediction error is reduced by performing SVQ. Experiments are carried out on a multispectral image. The results show that the proposed method reduce the bit rate at higher reconstructed image quality and improve the compression efficiency compared to conventional methods. Index Terms-Multispectral image compression, wavelet transform, classfied inter-channel prediction, selective vetor quantization, subband with lowest resolution.
In this parer, a new harmonic imaging technique is Proposed and evaluated experimentally. In the Proposed method. a weighted chirp signal with a hanning window is transmitted. The RF samples obtained on each array element are individually compressed by correlating with the reference signal defined as the 2nd harmonic component($2f_0$) of a transmitted chirp signal generated in a square-law system. The correlator output will then consist of the compressed version of the $2f_0$ component generated in tissue and the crosscorrelation sequence of the fundamental($f_0$) and 2f$_{0}$components. The Proposed method uses the compressed $2f_0$ component to form an image. for which the crosscorrelation term should be suppressed below at least -50dB. The Proposed method has two process, 2f$_{0}$-correlation and $2f_0$-correlation(PI) . $2f_0$-correlation can successfully eliminate the $f_0$ component with a single transmit-receive events and therefore is more efficient than the conventional Pulse inversion method in terms of the frame rate. 2i)-correlation(Pl) Performs pulse compression after applying pulse inversion method for the 2nd harmonic image with high resolution and SNR. Another advantage of the proposed method is that the SNR of 2nd harmonic imaging can be improved without limitation by increasing the duration of the chirp signal. The proposed method was verified through both the computer simulations and actual experiments .ts .
Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the biomechanical aspects of peri-implant bone upon root contact of orthodontic microimplant. Methods: Axisymmetric finite element modeling scheme was used to analyze the compressive strength of the orthodontic microimplant (Absoanchor SH1312-7, Dentos Inc., Daegu, Korea) placed into inter-radicular bone covered by 1 mm thick cortical bone, with its apical tip contacting adjacent root surface. A stepwise analysis technique was adopted to simulate the response of peri-implant bone. Areas of the bone that were subject to higher stresses than the maximum compressive strength (in case of cancellous bone) or threshold stress of 54.8MPa, which was assumed to impair the physiological remodeling of cortical bone, were removed from the FE mesh in a stepwise manner. For comparison, a control model was analyzed which simulated normal orthodontic force of 5 N at the head of the microimplant. Results: Stresses in cancellous bone were high enough to cause mechanical failure across its entire thickness. Stresses in cortical bone were more likely to cause resorptive bone remodeling than mechanical failure. The overloaded zone, initially located at the lower part of cortical plate, proliferated upward in a positive feedback mode, unaffected by stress redistribution, until the whole thickness was engaged. Conclusions: Stresses induced around a microimplant by root contact may lead to a irreversible loss of microimplant stability.

Recently, NDTs (Non-Destructive Techniques) using infrared camera are widely studied for detection of damage and void in RC (reinforced concrete) structures and they are also considered as an effective techniques for maintenance of infrastructures. The temperature on concrete surface depends on material and thermal properties such as specific heat, thermal conductivity, and thermal diffusion coefficient. Different porosity on cement mortar due to different mixture proportions can show different heat behavior in cooling stage. The porosity can affect physical and durability properties like strength and chloride diffusion coefficient as well. In this paper, active thermography which uses flash for heat induction is utilized and thermal characteristics on surface are evaluated. Samples of cement mortar with W/C (water to cement ratio) of 0.55 and 0.65 are prepared and physical properties like porosity, compressive strength, and chloride diffusion coefficient are evaluated. Then infrared thermography technique is carried out in a constant room condition (temperature $20{\sim}22^{\circ}C$ and relative humidity 55-60%). The mortar samples with higher porosity shows higher residual temperature at the cooling stage and also shows reduced critical time which shows constant temperature due to back wall effect. Furthermore, simple equation for critical time of back wall effect is suggested with porosity and experimental constants. These characteristics indicate the applicability of infrared thermography as an NDT for quality assessment of cement based composite like concrete. Physical properties and thermal behavior in cement mortar with different porosity are analyzed in discussed in this paper.
