모바일 및 웹 어플리케이션의 통합으로 인해 모바일 사용자들이 접근할 수 있는 서비스의 수는 크게 증가했지만 사용자들은 여러 개의 사용자 이름과 패스워드를 관리해야하는 어려움을 가지고 있다. 이와 유사한 상황은 다양한 종류의 개인장비, 무선 센서, 서버, 서비스 그리고 댁내에서 네트워크화 된 기기들로 구성된 흠 네트워크 환경으로 확장될 수 있다. 최근 디지털 홈 워킹 그룹 (DHWG: Digital Home Working Group)은 보안 강화를 위해 사용자와 기기에 대한 호환성 있는 인증 및 인가 메커니즘을 위한 프레임워크를 준비할 것을 권고하고 있다. 인터넷, 인트라넷 그리고 댁내에 분산된 자원들을 사용하기 위해 각 어플리케이션에 대한 사용자의 인증 및 인가는 반드시 필요하지만 이는 보안 관리와 시스템성능 측면에서는 커다란 부담이 된다. 본 논문에서는 XML기반의 단일인증기술 표준인 SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language)을 이용한 단일인증 아키텍처를 제안한다. 제안된 아키텍처를 기반으로 모바일 및 유비쿼터스 서비스 환경에서 모바일과 홈 기기간에 서로 다른 개체의 인증 및 인가 프로파일 정보의 교환을 가능하게 하므로 분산 환경에서의 보안 관리를 강화할 수 있다. 특히 제안된 아키텍처에서는 고도의 연산능력을 필요로 하는 보안정보의 전자서명 및 암복호 작업을 유선환경에 구성된 고성능의 기기로 전가하고 모바일 기기는 사용자의 인증을 검증할 수 있는 작은 문자열 형태의 artifact를 보유하고 이를 사용자의 인증에 이용함으로써 낮은 컴퓨팅 능력과 기억용량의 한계 같은 모바일 기기의 성능적인 제약을 극복할 수 있게 한다.

In the multimedia age, the development of Internet/Intranet circumstances makes Required Traffic per user be gradually larger. And the more demand getting many pieces of information quickly increases, the more required the rapid network is as a necessary consequence. This is why we need the advanced Ethernet. Gigabit Ethernet has many advantages in many respects. For example, it increases the capacity of network and makes network highly efficient in the existing Ethernet circumstance. Thus, Gigabit Ethernet becomes a counterproposal that can resolve Required Traffic per internet user. Present study inquires the concepts and the characteristics connected with Gigabit Ethernet Technology and analyses the Link efficiency with a hypothetical modeling.

The Internet is flourishing and the World Wide Web is growing at an exponential rate. A fundamental concept of Intranet, the so-called second wave, was introduced only a few years ago. Intranets have been embraced by corporate users of information services and made substantial inroads in strategic vision documents and procurement practices. Business organizations have come to the conclusion that they require an extensive data repository in order to acquire a competitive advantage in a dynamically change market. This rich assortment of data must further be delivered and deliverable enterprise-wide in a secure and cost-efficient manner. Information technology(IT) has created the Intranet as a vitally important mechanism for the storage, dissemination, and even the analysis data. The present study is an attempt to develop a more through understanding of the potential and actual impact of the Intranet on organizational functions and activities. Expecially, it also consists of an effort to assess the impact of the Intranet on work collaboration. The research also addresses the issue of how the Intranet affects work collaboration and shapes or modifies business activities. The results of literature review and study revealed that middle managers believe that the extent of the Intranet use is significantly related to improvements in overall organizational functions and activities. While communication, decision-making, productivity, work collaboration, and business activities are all enhanced by Intranet use, Work Collaboration appears to be most dramatically improved by Intranet use.

Handset 을 통한 m-Commerce 시장의 확장과 더불어 커머스를 기반으로 한 물류서비스, 무선 인트라넷, 모바일 증권거래 등에 PDA(Personal Digital Assistant)를 정보단말로 이용하는 서비스가 늘어나면서 PDA 무선 보안솔루션 개발에 관련된 관심이 잇따르고 있다. 특히 PDA 무선 보안솔루션은 무선 PKI를 비롯해 암호화 솔루션, 백신, 파이어월 등 다양한 분야에서 독특한 기술이 개발되고 있으며 보안분야의 새로운 시장을 형성할 것으로 기대된다. PDA 무선 보안 솔루션은 증권, 뱅킹 등에서 시도되어지고 있는 Application layer 에서 암호/복호화 하는 방식, 유선과 동일하게 브라우저/ 웹서버에서 제공하는 SSL 암호화 방식, SSL v3 및 TLS v1 과 호환되는 자체 암호화 모듈 방식등의 3 가지로 크게 나누어 볼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 WinCE OS 의 iPaq PDA 에 SSL v3 및 TLS v1 과 호환되는 자체 암호화 모듈 방식의 시스템을 설계한다. PDA 와 서버 간의 인증, 메시지 기밀성 및 무결성을 충족시킬 수 있는 보안 서비스를 제공하고 유선과 동일한 수준의 보안 수준을 유지하면서도 지금까지 무선 암호인증의 문제점이었던 소용량 무선단말기의 한계를 극복하는 PDA 용 무선 보안 솔루션을 설계하는데 목적을 두고 있다.

Due to the proliferation of the Internet and intranet, a new application domain called stream data processing has emerged. Stream data is real-timely and continuously generated. In this paper, we focus on the processing of stream data whose characteristics vary unpredictably by over time. Particularly, we suggest a method which generates an efficient operator execution order called WT-Heuristics. WT-Heuristics efficiently determines the operator execution order since it considers only two adjacent operators in the operator execution order. Also, our method changes the execution order with respect to the change of data characteristics with minimum overheads.

Energy Management System(EMS)는 전력 시스템에서 운영자에 의해 발전과 송전의 성능을 감시 제어 그리고 성능 최적화를 위하여 운영하는 시스템이다. 본 연구에서는 EMS(Next Generation Energy management System : NG-EMS)에서 클라이언트의 운영 시스템 자동 동기방법 및 웹 기반 온라인에서 뷰어를 실행, 운영하는 방법을 제안 한다. 본 연구는 인트라넷 망에서 클라이언트 운영 시스템의 효율적인 유지보수를 위하여 소프트웨어 패치 및 엔지니어링을 통해 도출된 그래픽 화면을 다수의 클라이언트에 자동 동기, 갱신하는 기능을 특징으로 한다. 또한 자동 동기 빌더를 사용하여 클라이언트에 동기 할 항목을 패키징하는 기능도 포함하고 있다. 자동 동기 서버 측에서는 본 연구의 구성에 의해 클라이언트의 동기 및 갱신 주기를 효율적으로 관리한다. 클라이언트가 메인서버로 접속할 시 자동동기 상태를 체크하는 서버에 문제가 발생했을 경우 다중 동기 서버 형태로 운영하여 불시 장애 발생에 효율적으로 대처가 가능하다. 또한 자동동기 시스템을 적용한 웹 기반 온라인 뷰어의 운영 시스템 및 방법을 제안한다.

In this paper, we discuss the development of an integrated HMI system based on OPC(OLE for Process Control) to control and monitor an automation equipment in the diverse environment. We implement an embedded OPC server according to the OPC standard which is proposed as the communication standard mechanism in the process control field, and design the interface module in which the output data of the OPC server can be connected to various HMI environment such as the local application, intranet client and Web page. This paper will be contributed in the HMI system implementation for the ubiquitous environment because it is possible to make remote control on the network and Web monitoring as well as the connection and data exchange of heterogeneous equipments by applying to various control systems.

정보시스템은 메인프레임(Mainframe)에서 클라이언트/서버시스템(C/S System), 인터넷 및 인트라넷 시스템을 지나 최근에는 클라우드 컴퓨팅환경으로 발전하고 있다. 이러한 복잡성과 컴퓨팅 환경의 다변함에 따라 시스템 성능 및 용량 산정에 관한 중요성은 점점 부각되고 있다. 이는 기존의 H/W(하드웨어규모산정지침 등)의 방식이 체계적이지 못하고, 다양한 컴퓨팅 환경의 특징을 반영하지 못하기 때문이며 이는 하드웨어 구축비용의 증가 혹은 감소로 실제 요구되는 정보시스템 자원이 과다 또는 과소 산정되는 경우가 발생할 수 있다. 특히 클라우드 컴퓨팅은 막대한 서버자원이 필요하기 때문에 보다 체계적이고 정확하게 HW를 산정하는 것은 사업성공 중요한 요소라 할 수 있다. 클라우드 컴퓨팅의 하드웨어의 용량 산정을 위해서는 우선 IT자원의 성격에 따른 3가지 서비스모델(서비스형소프트웨어, 플랫폼형서비스, 인프라형서비스)에 적합한 용량산정모델을 제시해야 한다. IaaS는 사용자에게 인프라기반의 서비스를 제공하며, PaaS의 경우에는 플랫폼과 OS 등의 개발환경을 제공의 목적이 있기 때문에 HW용량산정을 위해서는 다양한 측면에서의 접근이 요구된다. SaaS는 WEB/WAS의 서비스와 유사한 형태의 서비스 특징을 가지고 있기 때문에 기존 서비스 특징과 클라우드 특징을 도출하기에 적합하다 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 SaaS기반의 하드웨어 용량산정에 대한 방법과 기준을 제시하였다. 본 연구결과는 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경구축 시 HW용량산정에 대한 가이드라인으로 활용 가능하다.

20세기에 있어서의 비약하는 산업계의 주축으로서 철강시장은 급속히 확대되었고 그와 더불어 신기술의 개발과 도입에서도 선도적 역할을 다하여 왔다. 특히 이 4반세기는 반도체기술의 진보와 함께 컴퓨터, 플랜트 컨트롤러, 드라이브 시스템 등 전기제품은 비약적인 진화를 이루어 왔다. 현재는 중국$\cdot$아시아$\cdot$남미를 중심으로 철강제품의 수요가 증가하여 설비투자도 확대되고 있다. 그러나 북미$\cdot$유럽$\cdot$일본에서는 생산능력과 수요와의 사이에 수급공백이 있어 이전과 같은 시장만큼의 신장은 기대할 수 없는 실정이다. 이와 같은 상황하에서 철강유저의 투자목적을 합리화$\cdot$성력화$\cdot$제품품질의 향상에 두고 있어, 미쓰비시전기는 ''경쟁력 있는 제품을 만들기와 총투자코스트의 최소화''를 서포트하는 제철플랜트용 전기제품의 제공을 지향하여, 그림에 표시하는 것과 같은 4개의 어프로치로 이에 대응하고 있다. 고품질화와 자동화에 대하여는 종래의 품질제어를 능가하는 초안정화 시스템의 적용, 프로세스의 이상 검지와 자동복구에 의한 완전 노터치 오퍼레이션의 실현, 인텔리전트 센서에 의한 프로세스의 가시화로 오퍼레이터가 최종판단을 용이하고 정확하게 할 수 있는 환경을 제공한다. 고효율화$\cdot$에너지 사용합리화에 대하여는 고역률 전원을 추구하여 고효율 드라이브장치와 모터를 제공한다. 글로벌 스탠더드화에의 대응으로서는 네트워크의 오픈화에 의한 멀티벤더 환경, 범용 하드웨어에 의한 오픈 HMI(Human Machine Interface)을 제공하고 있다. 플랜트의 신속한 가동과 리모트 메인터넌스 환경을 실현하기 위하여 플랜트 시뮬레이션 시험의 실시로 공장출하 품질의 향상을 도모한다. 또한 연구센터로부터의 원격감시와 트러블해석 서포트를 쉽게 할 수가 있다. 나아가 최근에는 급격한 기세로 신장되어 온 멀티미디어 기술, 인터넷 기술, 인트라넷 기술, 모바일단말, 화상압축기술 등에 의하여 원격집중감시, 현장과 중앙 쌍방향 협조보수작업, 버추얼 리얼리티 응용시스템이 현실화 되고있는 실정이다. 이들 IT(Information Technology)솔류션은 금후의 제철플랜트의 시스템을 크게 바꾸어 나가는 것은 물론 사업 경쟁력 강화의 키 테크놀로지가 될 것이다. 앞으로 미쓰비시전기는 제철플랜트에 대하여 유저니즈를 IT 솔루션으로 전개, 제공해 나가고자 한다.

Network based VPN(Virtual Private Network) using MPLS(Multiprotocol Label Switching) technology, called PE(Provider Edge router) based MPLS VPN, is regarded as a good solution for intranets or ext3nets because of the low cost and the flexibility of the service provision. In this paper, we describe a mechanism that allows the VPN users to move from one site to another site of the VPN network based on the BGP-E MPLS technology. This mechanism is designed for PE(Provider Edge) routers of the backbone network. PE routers connected to the VPN sites establish a new MPLS path to the mobile node after they detect movement of the mobile VPN node. The new location may belong to the same VPN or to different VPN. We desisted VPN management and control functions of the PE routers in order to interface with the Mobile IP protocol and support the QoS mechanism. The pilot implementation and performance measurement were carried out on a simulation using COVERS tool.
